NCICD (National Capital Integrated Coastal Development) Seawall is designed mainly to prevent coastal flooding due to sea level rise and land subsidence in North Jakarta. However, the seawall is not designed to countermeasure a tsunami impact. The purpose of this research is to calculate tsunami impact in term of run-up in five strategic points such as Pelabuhan Muara Angke, Pelabuhan Nizam Zachman, Pantai Ancol, Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok dan Pantai Marunda. In this research, the seawall is evaluated for the worst-case tsunami scenario within the order of Tsunami Krakatau 1883. The source of tsunami is the initial condition from Maeno and Imamura (2011). The propagation from source to coastal area is conducted using SWASH model. SWASH 2D model shows a good agreement with observation data. Compared to Maeno and Imamura’s model, the numerical model shows a better agreement. The verified model is then extracted and the time series is used as an input for the 1D model to calculate the tsunami run-up. The model result shows that Tanjung Priok and Pantai Muranda are the most vulnerable point with tsunami run-up about 4 m. However, the current designed seawall with 4.8 m height is still sufficient to deal with this impact.

Groups of 12 fathead minnows were exposed for 129 days to Lake Superior water acidified (pH 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 or 6.5) with reagent grade H2SO4 by means of a multichannel toxicant system for flow-through bioassays. Untreated water (pH 7.5) had the following properties: hardness 45.3 ± 0.3 (95% confidence interval) mg/1 as CaCO3; alkalinity 42.6 ± 0.2 mg/1; Cl- 0.03 meq/1; Na+ 0.05 meq/1; K+ 0.01 meq/1; Ca2+ 0.68 meq/1; Mg2+ 0.26 meq/1; dissolved O2 5.8 ± 0.3 mg/1; free CO2 3.2 ± 0.4 mg/1; T= 24.3 ± 0.1°C. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd gills were subsequently processed for LM (methacrylate), TEM and SEM respectively.Three changes involving chloride cells were correlated with increasing acidity: 1) the appearance of apical pits (figs. 2,5 as compared to figs. 1, 3,4) in chloride cells (about 22% of the chloride cells had pits at pH 5.0); 2) increases in their numbers and 3) increases in the % of these cells in the epithelium of the secondary lamellae.

The paper deals with the past, current and future situation in Russian capital outflow and inflow. The specific features of the past situation (2001-2013) were as follows: big scale of Russian participation in international capital movement; turnover of national capital between Russia and offshores; stable surplus of capital outflow over inflow; inadequacy of industrial structure of capital inflow to Russian needs. The current situation is characterized by such new features as radical cut in volumes of capital outflow and inflow, some decrease in its level of offshorization. In the mid-term the probability of continuation of current trends is high. In the long-term the mode of Russian participation in international capital movement will prima facie depend on prospects of realization of systematic reforms in the Russian economy.

System The process of counting and storing in a manual water reservoir analysis has a high percentage of error rate compared to an automated system. In a company industry, especially in the WWT (Waste Water Treatment) section, it has several reservoir tanks as stock which are still counted manually. The ultrasonic sensor is placed at the top of the WWT tank in a hanging position. Basically, to measure the volume in a tank only variable height is always changing. So by utilizing the function of the ultrasonic sensor and also the tube volume formula, the stored AIR volume can be monitored in real time based on IoT using the Blynk application. From the sensor, height data is obtained which then the formula is processed by Arduino Wemos and then information is sent to the MySQL database server via the WIFI network.

The study of heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments of the Vyshnevolotsky water reservoir is presented in this paper. Sequential selective procedure was used to determine the heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments and thermodynamic calculation — to determine ones in interstitial water. It has been shown that Mn are mainly presented in exchangeable and carbonate forms; for Fe, Zn, Pb и Co the forms are related to iron and manganese hydroxides is played an important role; and Cu and Ni are mainly associated with organic matter. In interstitial waters the main forms of heavy metal speciation are free ions for Zn, Ni, Co and Cd, carbonate complexes for Pb, fulvate complexes for Cu. Effects of particle size and organic matter content in sediments on distribution of mobile and potentially mobile forms of toxic elements have been revealed.
