AbstractJonah in the Bible and in the Qur’an is the same character, namely a prophet who was sent by Allah to remind and rebuke the Nineveh people to turn and praise Allah. However, through comparative reading of these texts we will find different narratives about Yunus. But this paper will read both texts in the Bible and the Qur’an so that we can see the richness of the two texts by reading communitarian cross-text over the holy books. There are many things that give us these two texts either from who the Nineveh were in the Qur’an or also Allah’s rebuke to Jonah when he was swallowed by the big fish and how Allah taught through the Pumpkin tree. This article is of course not to prove right or wrong, the main idea of this artile is looking at the appreciative differences in each text and then the main idea is to find broader and deeper meanings related to Yunus and his story. The interpretations of Christian theologians as well as Muslim commentators will offer further explanations about the figure of Yunus in the Bible and in the Qur’an.

This contribution is a review article on the three most important books by F. Gerrit Immink in practical theology. His approach to this discipline is studying faith praxis of the Protestantse Kerk in Nederland (Protestant Church in the Netherlands) which is a church in the Reformed tradition. In his first book he explained his approach to practical theology in a discussion with the action theory and hermeneutical-communucative approaches. His choice for the study of faith praxis opens the way for a more theological approach to him in which communication between God and people is an important aspect. His second book forms the central part of this article. He uses the concept performance in the liturgy which is adopted from the theater world. In the performance by means of the execution of the liturgy by the congregation (preacher, organ, music, singing, praying) they all get involved in the message from the Bible of that Sunday, they are touched by it, it has an effect on them, and they get a new perspective on the problems of everyday life. This is possible through the work of the Holy Spirit. The epiclese prayers in the liturgy are prayers for the enlightening and work by the Spirit. He discusses singing, praying, preaching, baptism and Holy Communion in detail. The main idea is that the performance in the liturgy does something to you, it has an effect on you, something happens to you. To my mind there is no need to choose between the ritual approach and the approach he is putting on the table. The approaches can enrich each other.

Education is a basic effort to transform individuals. Teachers are the vanguard people who transform society and the nation through education. Christian religious education seeks change, renewal and reform of individuals and groups through the power of the Holy Spirit, so that students live according to God's will, as stated by the Bible and by the Lord Jesus Himself. In order for the purpose of this Christian Education to be achieved, transformative teachers are needed, namely teachers who are committed to the perspective of learning from a whole human perspective, in providing affective, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual changes. This paper aims to formulate transformative Christian teacher criteria. Through literature review, observation, the main idea of the author is that a transformative teacher has the following characteristics: having spiritual competence, creating constructivist experiences in learning, having theological and teacher knowledge, being active in the community or fellowship of Believers, having a strong personal identity and integrity, having a commitment (determination) and Becoming an Example. Studying the six criteria above will help the willingness of educators to build human quality in the midst of today's moral morality. It is God who helps foster commitment and quality of life in educators to carry out their duties and calling as teachers

The issue of social issues was not alien in the theological reflection of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. A kind of opus magnum in the output of Pope Benedict XVI is the encycli-cal from 2009: Caritas in veritate. The Pope touches upon contemporary problems that concern humanity, trying to point to the most important capital which is a human being. At the same time, he indicates that for the defense of integral human development, it is necessary to agree and respect his spiritual layer. The Pope warns that humanism without God becomes inhuman humanism. An expression of solidarity is respect for religious free-dom, and the greatest enemy of solidarity, according to Benedict XVI, is marginalization. In 1983, in Bydgoszcz, there was a confrontation of the social movement of “Solidarity” with the civic militia. In response, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki dedicated his work to Byd-goszcz Miserere op. 44. The composer’s religious creativity in times of forcing the idea of practical materialism reminded us of a deeper (spiritual) layer of reality. The words taken from the Bible and the Roman Missal, accompanied by a four-part choir, lead the listener through meditation on the human person and life. The article points to the main idea of both authors not to degrade man to the material and biological. The evidence points to the theological way of the Pope’s command and the musical form of the message of religious content by H. M. Gorecki.

The article deals with "street art" as a kind of urban culture, outrageous self-expression of urban youth. Its study is condensed mainly on modern modifications of phenomena such as graffiti, video projection, art intervention, flash mob and more. But the historical forms of this phenomenon, whose roots go back to cave times, are much more diverse and unexpected. The ancient street art is pretty well known to us, however the medieval street art, even the closest ‒ European, scientists were much less interested. However, the Soviet-era disregard for the experience of the Middle Ages, which was one of the most important links in the progress of our culture, is deeply flawed. The aim of this study is a scientific description of the street art of medieval Europe, its structure, spiritual orientation, genre originality and potential for further development. The article gives a detailed analysis of the theoretical projection of the problem (formation of the phenomenon of "street art" on the border of folklore and experience of professional art) and the practical need to expand the concept of street art in its historical diachrony in the study and teaching of world and domestic culture. The main idea of the articles is a comparison of medieval street art with its folklore and, in part, ancient origins, as well as the establishment of points of contact with the future Proto-Renaissance world. The article emphasizes that religious-Christian consciousness prevailed in medieval Europe, and this meant a radical change in worldview. Being ceased to be perceived as an "eternal whirlpool": the eschatological concept of the Bible prompted us to realize the temporality of the material world and the need to find ways to Eternity. Thus, street art, which used to be a signification of the everyday interests of citizens, has now received the status of a "signpost to Heaven", expressing a predominantly pious spiritual search for the urban community. This can be seen even in various inscriptions, signs, craft communities, etc. At the same time, phenomena marginal to the dominant church culture, such as "carnival culture", which condensed the hedonistic motives of pagan heritage, developed certain traditions of chivalric culture and were sometimes an echo of heretical teachings, are carefully analyzed. This article reports the results of a medieval street art as a powerful component in the formation of European culture and contributed to the involvement of broad sections of uneducated citizens in the spiritual life of the era. This situation largely became the foundation of the formation of the Renaissance process. The article is of great help to a more detailed and in-depth study of this important historical and cultural phenomenon.
