Purpose of the study: The quality of work-life focuses on everyone's attention. This innovative concept led us to look for appropriate ways to put it into practice in academic environments, particularly within the University of Constantine 3 in Algeria's teaching community and to which we are affiliated. Methodology: An online survey has been conducted for the attainment of the purpose. It has collected the lecturer’s satisfaction levels with their framework and working conditions. The researcher, therefore, targeted two groups of respondents to obtain the most varied possible feedbacks. The first group came from a social branch and the second from a technical one. A questionnaire was sent to both groups Main Findings: Results were cross-referenced with the objectives of the 2020-2024 establishment project initiated by the same University. The latter wants to prioritize wellbeing, improve the framework and means available to teachers. These cross-referenced elements have revealed a great concordance between the teachers' expectations and the University’s undertaken project. This shows promising prospects for the realization of high human quality. Applications of the study: The study is a perfect recommendation to emphasize the pre-eminence of High Human Quality HHQ in universities and make its economic, social, and environmental interest prevail for more sustainable, more competitive, and more attractive university spaces... Novelty/Originality of the study: Participating in these ongoing reflections allows us to make our reflections even more engaging. The human capital becomes then the essential element on which this research focuses: It is a question of searching for the probable reasons for its unproductivity and working to make it the instigator of the HHQ Label within the University.

Background: Psoriasis is a skin disease that occurs due to proliferation and differentiation disturbances of the epidermis. This chronic condition often reduces the human quality of life. There have been studies investigating psoriatic patient profiles and treatments, but few are conducted in Surabaya. Hence, those studies cannot fully represent the population demographic in Surabaya. Purpose: To investigate the prevalence of psoriasis vulgaris and the sociodemographic profile of the patients in Dr Soetomo General Academic Hospital. Methods: This was a Retrospective study psoriasis vulgaris patients in January 2016–December 2018. The data were collected by retrieving Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as secondary data. Result: The psoriasis vulgaris prevalence of outpatients was 0.46% and 4.59% in inpatients. Most study subjects were adults aged 18 and above (98.1%), most of the patients were obese (46.3%), the most common provoking factor was focal tooth infection (33.8%) and stress (28.8%), and none reported family history of psoriasis. Conclusion: Some results are similar to other studies conducted in Surabaya, which were the obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) being strong a factor to psoriasis development. However, the result on psoriasis family history was not in line with other studies.

This paper investigates the SME's management control, human resources, and cultural context in Indonesia. These perspectives come into 2 (two) themes; Professional Capacity and Company Strategy. Most SMEs show a struggle in developing human quality and in particular, Indonesia's SMEs, also lack process controls due to their beliefs and cultures. Nonetheless, despite the positive impacts for the business sustainability that previous researchers have found, the implementation of MCS still has not been adequately done by the SME due to their several limitations. Thus, this paper aims to analyze a company perspective regarding the MCS implementation, specifically in the new phenomenon related to the contingent factors that arise from company issues and challenges using a case study from a clothing manufacturing company. The research question proposes for this research study is "How does Indonesia's SME implement its management control within limited resources and local culture?" Keywords: management control system, SME, contingency-based research, SME Point of View, Business Issues, MCS strategy

Government planning has a relevant role in the human development of cities, and the local public sector acts on legal regulations and budget planning to reach high levels of sustainability and human development. However, there is a gap in local governments related to the integration of decision-making preferences considering sustainability and human development in their budget planning. This work explores how the preferences of decision-makers have been considered in published research found in high-impact journals, and how they have been used in practice or not, especially in the public budget planning for the improvement of the governance of municipalities and human quality of life. The methodology integrated a literature review (by Methodi Ordinatio) with a sorting procedure (by the ELECTRE-TRI method) to categorize the selected papers, considering the level of adherence to the theme and the most relevant contributions, and also a systematic procedure organized by lenses analysis, and Simos’ procedure to define the weights for these lenses. The results that were found can help scholars to access discussions about budget planning distribution, mainly considering the aspects related to sustainable and social goals. The research also helps local public managers to make evidence-based decisions developing the city and local governance.

: Depression is a prevalent disease worldwide, limiting psychosocial functioning and the human quality of life. Linalool is the main constituent of some essential oils from aromatic plants, representing about 70% of these volatile concentrates. Evidence of the linalool activity on the central nervous system, mainly acting as an antidepressant agent, is increasingly abundant. This review aimed to extend the knowledge of linalool's antidepressant action mechanisms, which is fundamental for future research, intending to highlight this natural compound as a new antidepressant phytomedication. A critical analysis is proposed here with probable hypotheses of the synergic mechanisms that support the evidence of antidepressant effects of the linalool. The literature search has been conducted in databases for published scientific articles before December 2020, using relevant keywords. Several pieces of evidence point to the anticonvulsant, sedative, and anxiolytic actions. In addition to these activities, other studies have revealed that linalool acts on the monoaminergic and neuroendocrine systems, inflammatory process, oxidative stress, and neurotrophic factors, such as BDNF, wherein consist of the considerable advances in the knowledge of the etiology of depression. In this context, linalool emerges as a promising bioactive compound in the therapeutic arsenal, capable of interacting with numerous pathophysiological factors and acting on several targets. This review claims to contribute to future studies, highlighting the gaps in the linalool knowledge, as its kinetics, doses, routes of administration, and multiple targets of interaction, to clarify its antidepressant activity.

This paper intends to analyse those provisions of the Lex Baiuvariorum that regulate the position of persons in non-free status, i.e. slaves (servi, mancipia, and ancillae). In the course of our endeavour, we make efforts to find an answer to the question as to what extent the significant ecclesiastical impact, far exceeding the effect of the rest of German folk laws, becomes evident in Lex Baiuvariorum: to what extent acknowledgement of the human quality of slaves appears in the code. Not incidentally, at the end of the paper, we try to answer the question whether the meaning of the phrases mancipium, servus, and ancilla – which are usually translated by the words servant and maidservant – can be conveyed in theory by translating them by the word slave, or they require any other, more differentiated term to reveal the legal content of these phrases.
