Background: Bhaishajyakalpana being a deep rooted science contains many unrevealed treasure of formulations. The present era demands scientific method and standardized protocol for any preparation. Here is an opportunity to revise the science using newer technologies in cost effective manner. Dadimavaleha, one of the most commonly used formulation in practice is least explored. Attempt has been made to study the pharmaceutico analytical parameters of Dadimavaleha and thereby establishing a standard operating procedure. Aim 1.To study the pharamaceutico-analytical aspects of Dadimavaleha 2.To set a standard manufacturing procedure of Dadimavaleha. Material And Methods: The preparation of Dadimavaleha was done according to the reference of YogaratnakarJwaratisaradhyay. All the procedure was done systematically and observations were noted. Discussion: The study is aimed at setting a standard manufacturing procedure for Dadimavalehaby thorough examination of pharmaceutico analytical characteristics of thethe same. The various analytical parameters like ph, total ash, acid insoluble ash, water soluble extractive, acid soluble extractive, specific gravity, sugar content were assessed. Conclusion: The detailed pharmaceutico-analytical study of Dadimavalehain a detailed stepwise description and documentation in scientific, logical, sequential manner helps in developing a Standard Manufacturing Procedure for Dadimavaleha.Since there is no standard protocol and comparable analytical parameters available at present, this study can prove to be a milestone towards setting a standard manufacturing procedure for Dadimavaleha.

Hirschsprung disease is a rare developmental disorder of the enteric nervous system. This researched purpose to give an epidemiological database and current trend analysis from radiological perspective of Hirschsprung disease at our center. A prospective descriptive study was conducted for a year in 2017 at Sanglah Public General Hospital Bali. Colon in loop examination using either water-soluble or barium was conducted. All baseline characteristics, contras media used, and HD type were the parameter being evaluated in this study. Hirschsprung accounted for 2.16% from all 1018 newborn. Male is 3.4 times more prone to Hirschsprung disease. Age distribution predominant during 0 – 4 weeks after birth (36.4%). Ultrashort, short, long segments were 45.5%, 45.5%, and 9% respectively. Contras media used was mainly barium rather than water soluble 8:3, due to standard operating procedure adapted by some pediatric surgeon.  Ultrashort and short segment HD has the same contribution. Barium is dominated at our center although water soluble is chosen in most literature for infant, due to its ability as diagnostic as well as therapeutic. Hence further research should be done to support and change the perspective in making the diagnosis.

In this present era of utilization of active principles as a medicine the basic formulations of Bhaishajya Kalpana remain a main source for modern research. The basic formulations are described as Panchavidha Kashaya Kalpanas. Out of these Kashaya Kalpanas, Kwatha Kalpana is an important formulation which is having more potency after Swarasa and Kalka Kalpana. Kashaya has very short shelf life (Saveeryatavadhi). These Kashayas cannot be preserved for longer period. These have to be prepared fresh every day and also the method of preparation is time consuming. Rasakriya (Ghana) is a type of formulation where in the active components can be stored for more days i.e. 3 years (DandC act 161B, w.e.f. 1st April 10). Converting this Kashaya in to Ghana form and then into Ghanavati form may increase the shelf life of the formulation. Along with this it will give a proper shape and dose for the easy administration of medicament. Hence the present research was planned to convert Kushthaghna Mahakashaya Kwatha into Kushthaghna Mahakashaya Ghanavati using standard operating procedure to potentiate active principle in it, and to evaluate shelf life of Kushthaghna Mahakashaya Ghanavati.

AbstractThe ongoing pandemic of SARS-CoV-2 calls for rapid and cost-effective methods to accurately identify infected individuals. The vast majority of patient samples is assessed for viral RNA presence by RT-qPCR. Our biomedical research institute, in collaboration between partner hospitals and an accredited clinical diagnostic laboratory, established a diagnostic testing pipeline that has reported on more than 40,000 RT-qPCR results since its commencement at the beginning of April 2020. However, due to ongoing demand and competition for critical resources, alternative testing strategies were sought. In this work, we present a clinically-validated standard operating procedure (SOP) for high-throughput SARS-CoV-2 detection by RT-LAMP in 25 minutes that is robust, reliable, repeatable, sensitive, specific, and inexpensive.

The aim of this article is to analyze internal control in service company. The analyze used the components of internal control according to COSO: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, monitoring. Analysis of internal control used the data obtained through observation, questionnaires, interview, and documentary. Based on this analysis results can be concluded, that the dual positions refer with company SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Separation of task does not work because that the dual positions. Therefore, the component of control activities applied at company is not in accordance with the component of control activities according to COSO. Nonconformity components still results in very effective internal control because the purpose of the internal control still remains to be achieved even though there are components that are not in accordance with the internal control components according to COSO.

Three levels of planning can be distinguished in grassland farming: strategic, tactical and operational. The purpose of strategic planning is to achieve a sustainable long-term fit of the farm business with its physical, social and financial environment. In pastoral farming, this essentially means developing plans that maximise and best match pasture growth with animal demand, while generating sufficient income to maintain or enhance farm resources and improvements, and attain personal and financial goals. Strategic plans relate to the whole farm business and are focused on the means to achieve future needs. They should be routinely (at least annually) reviewed and monitored for effectiveness through key performance indicators (e.g., Economic Farm Surplus) that enable progress toward goals to be measured in a timely and cost-effective manner. Failure to link strategy with control is likely to result in unfulfilled plans. Keywords: management, performance

Type II diabetes mellitus due to an unhealthy lifestyle, one of which is the lack of fiber in daily food consumption. One food that has a high fiber content is tofu dregs. The purpose of this study was to determine substitution of wheat flour with tofu dregs flour to produce a snack bar with the best characteristics, and determine the effect of consumption of snack bar from tofu dregs on blood sugar content in rats. The research was conducted two steps. Step I: Formulation of snack bar using a completely randomized design with tofu dregs flour concentration of 0 %, 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, 40 %, and 50 %. The variables of this study were the content of water, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates, sensory tests, and effectiveness tests. Step II: the best characteristic snack bar in the step I was used experimental rats. This step used true experimental design with pre-post test control group design. The variables of study were blood glucose levels before treatment and after treatment. The treatment group consisted of normal, negative, positive control, and snack bar. The results of the first step of the research showed that substitution of wheat flour with 40 % tofu dregs produced the best characteristic snack bar with 17.19 % water content, 1.33 % ash content, 11.03 % protein, 20.53 % fat, 49.92 % carbohydrate, light brown color, unpleasant aroma, distinctive soy taste, crumb texture, 0.63 % water soluble food fiber, 1.57 % water insoluble fiber, and total food fiber 2.36 %. The results of the second step of the study showed that the provision of substitution of wheat flour with tofu dregs flour 40 % could reduce blood sugar levels in diabetic mellitus rats until normal, start 290 mg/dl to 108.5 mg/dl. Tofu dregs flour can be used for snack bar formulations for people with diabetes mellitus.
