That optic business is increasingly mushrooming followed by a decrease in market share, forces Optik XYZ to have competent management strategies to achieve a strong position in competing in similar industry. Therefore a study was conducted to provide a structured and systematic analysis of management strategies required by Optik XYZ. Stages of study were initiated by data collection from interviews, literature studies and field studies, followed by qualitative and quantitative analysis and implementation of management strategies. The study generated a formulation of management strategy proper for Optik XYZ. Management strategies formulated in this study can help carrying out the company's activities in decision making, so that the business processes run optimally.

A szerzők kutatási projektjükben a hazai lakosság utazással kapcsolatos fogyasztási, vásárlási magatartását vizsgálták, különös tekintettel a hibrid fogyasztói viselkedés alakulására. Indexszámítás alapján besorolták a válaszadókat a hibrid fogyasztás kategóriáiba. ________ Recent study examines travelling behaviour in Hungary with special emphasis on hybrid consumption. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis the study explore the decision making process related to hybrid consumption in travel services. Based on indexes the authors classified respondents into categories of hybrid consumption. According to their classification the main groups are savings-oriented budget shoppersand comfort-oriented brand shoppers, representing 31,9% and 29,6% share in the total sample, accordingly. Based on their analysis the approach of hybrid consumption proved to be useful to analyse consumer behaviour in travel services.

Business process outsourcing (BPO) is transforming Western companies’ corporate real estate (CRE) requirements. When business processes move to a developing country there are consequences for that country’s CRE practice. This paper considers the effects of western BPO on Indian CRE. Qualitative and quantitative analysis was used to analyze data from a survey of professionals operating in Indian CRE. Location issues, quality of workspace, and the availability of human resources were identified as important in establishing BPO activities in India. Suburban, and campus or built-to-suit facilities, were increasingly preferred locations and styles of workplace that were transforming Indian CRE practice. Also, the effect of western BPO was impacting on the types of CRE services being offered. With the continuing growth in BPO to ‘secondary cities’ the transformational effects on local CRE practice are likely to spread and further transform CRE practice in India.

In this chapter a review of the current financial accounting situation in Peru is reviewed. Accounting or any type of accountability system has been around in Peru for several centuries and a number of factors (cultural, legal, economic and financial, historical and political) have played an important role in its evolution. This chapter aims at analyzing the Peruvian accounting system with special emphasis on IFRS for SMEs. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of available data were applied for this research as well as surveys and interviews to relevant players in the Peruvian accounting system. The most important conclusions are: 1) A number of different accounting standards –not only full IFRS or IFRS for SMEs- are applied in Peru; 2) The claim that IFRS for SMEs are widely applied by Peruvian companies should be rejected and 3) It should be recognized that most of the SMEs in Peru use accounting for tax purposes only, and disregard the use accounting for decision making.

BASED WRITING FACTUAL REFERENCE BOOKThis study was aimed at describing the factual writing of the students before using multiliteracies based factual reference book, generating multiliteracies based factual reference book, and describing the expert judgements of the reference book. This study used Research and Development (R&D) method. The data were collected through literature studies, field studies, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis methods used were qualitative and quantitative analysis. The qualitative analysis was used to describe the data from the interview and the documentation. The quantitative analysis was used to analyze the questionnaire data. The stages of this study were product design, expert judgement, and revision. The result of the study shows that before the use of multiliteracies based reference book, the learning materials are limited to the reference sources on the internet, General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling, Indonesian Dictionary, and Electronic School Textbooks. Multiliteracies based writing factual reference book is arranged in coherence and detail to help readers in understanding, using, and applying the factual writing texts. The expert judgements on the product show that the product is categorized into feasible with revision. Some improvements are needed in the multiliteracies application.

This paper discusses the improvements and parameter optimization issues of LTRACK, a recently proposed mobility management algorithm. Mathematical modelling of the algorithm and the behavior of the Mobile Node (MN) are used to optimize the parameters of LTRACK. A numerical method is given to determine the optimal values of the parameters. Markov chains are used to model both the base algorithm and the so-called loop removal effect. An extended qualitative and quantitative analysis is carried out to compare LTRACK to existing handover mechanisms such as MIP, Hierarchical Mobile IP (HMIP), Dynamic Hierarchical Mobility Management Strategy (DHMIP), Telecommunication Enhanced Mobile IP (TeleMIP), Cellular IP (CIP) and HAWAII. LTRACK is sensitive to network topology and MN behavior so MN movement modelling is also introduced and discussed with different topologies. The techniques presented here can not only be used to model the LTRACK algorithm, but other algorithms too. There are many discussions and calculations to support our mathematical model to prove that it is adequate in many cases. The model is valid on various network levels, scalable vertically in the ISO-OSI layers and also scales well with the number of network elements.
