Basically the use of integrated information systems can be applied not only for the company, but also education industry, particularly schools. To support business processes at the school, this research would like to describe a conceptual model of information systems using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) notationwith "4 +1 View" architectural model. This model is expected to assist analysis and design the whole business processes at school. A conceptual model of the information system can help application developers to easily and clearly understand the school system. By adopting this information system model, schools are able to have effective understanding of management information systems.

Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

This study aims to create a system that can simplify common operational activities of pharmacy such as purchasing, inventory, and sales. The system is expected to improve manual processes of purchasing, inventory, and sales into a computerized ones. In addition, this system also provides convenience, accuracy, and speed for owner or management to access reports of purchase, inventory, and sales in real-time. The research methods used are literature studies, field studies, and the methods of analysis and design of object-oriented information system design language UML (Unified Modeling Language). Tthe result of this research is an information system of purchasing, inventory, and sales of medicines that may help pharmacies to get information quickly and accurately, and to help pharmacy operations to run more effectively and efficiently.

The article deals with the problem of searching and selecting information. Currently, this kind of problem is solved by using search information systems. The main stage of creating a search information system is the development of the project, which is carried out using the unified modeling language UML and the CASE tool Power Designer. When developing a system project using the UML modeling language, all available information about the designed system is represented as a set of graphical elements, in other words, graphical structures. Such constructions are called diagrams. They reflect the essence of the system and consider it from different sides and represent the processes that take place in it in different ways.

Abstract - Knowledge management is needed right now, but many companies or institutions are constrained in conducting knowledge management because of the limitations of the information system. In Information Systems Study Program Universitas Terbuka still uses a manual system that uses Windows file explorer. This results in the difficulty of sharing information with outsiders. Therefore we need a web-based knowledge management information system design that can solve problems so far. The design model in this article uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model, which is a structural model and techniques for modeling object-oriented program (OOP) design. The results of the design of knowledge management information systems are expected to be able to help develop software later. Keywords: information systems, knowledge management, Unified Modeling Language (UML).   Abstrak - Knowledge manajemen merupakan hal yang dibutuhkan saat ini, namun banyak perusahaan atau lembaga terkendala dalam melakukan knowledge manajemen karena keterbatasan sistem informasi. Di Prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Terbuka masih menggunakan sistem manual yaitu menggunakan windows file explorer. Hal ini mengakibatkan sulitnya berbagi informasi dengan pihak luar. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan sebuah perancangan sistem informasi manajemen knowledge berbasis web yang bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan selama ini. Model perancangan pada artikel ini menggunakan model Unified Modeling Language (UML) yaitu model struktur dan teknik untuk pemodelan desain program berorientasi objek (OOP). Hasil yang dari perancangan sistem informasi manajemen knowledge ini diharapkan bisa membatu pengembangan perangkat lunak nantinya.                                                                                                                     Kata Kunci: sistem informasi, manajemen knowledge, Unified Modeling Language (UML).

When organizations engage in close cooperation they usually need to reorganize the business processes that serve the interface between them. This reorganization is often done with the help of business process models. As a result, the underlying information systems have to be adapted, too. The changes to the latter can be supported by information system models which are typically “written” in a different language from that of the business processes. Here we suggest an approach to facilitate the development of information system models based on the models of the respective business processes. This is achieved by mapping a suitable business process language to the Unified Modeling Language. We apply this approach in the context of an interorganizational business process.

Absrtak: Tulisan ini merupakan kajian dalam menindaklanjuti saran dari hasil penelitian penulis, tentang perlunya perancangan dan pengembangan model prototipe Sistem Informasi Jabatan Fungsional Dosen berbasis web. Implementasi jabatan fungsional tersebut untuk memudahkan dalam menghitung angka kredit, memudahkan pemasukan dan pencarian data sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang akurat, tepat, dan relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma siklus hidup pengembangan sistem, meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka; analisis dan perancangan sistem dengan star Unified Modeling Language (UML), relasi antar file, struktur file, struktur program, rancangan masukan, rancangan luaran, dan struktur menu dengan menggunakan pemograman PHP & database Mysql. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya prototipe sistem jabatan fungsional yang dapat dimanfaatkan para dosen dalam memproses pengusulan dan perhitungan angka kredit secara mudah, cepat, dan efektif. Oleh karena itu perguruan tinggi (negeri/swasta) perlu mendorong pengembangan dan pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi tersebut. Begitu pula para dosen perlu membiasakan pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi berbasisweb dalam memudahkan mengimplementasikan jabatan fungsional dosen. Kata kunci : Dosen, Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, Jabatan Fungsional Dosen.Abstract: This paper is a study to follow up the recommendation from the result of the writer’s research, which was about the importance of design and development of information system prototype of web based lecturer functional job. The implementation of functional job will facilitate the calculation of credit rate, ease the data entry and searching to bring about accurate, appropriate and relevant information. This research used life cyclus paradigm of system development which include data collection phase via observation, interview and literature study; system analysis and design using star Unified Modeling Language (UML), interrelation among files, file structure, program structure, input design, output design, and menu structure using PHP and database Mysql. This study resulted that there is a prototype of functional job system which can be used by lecturers to proceed the proposal and calculation of credit rate easily, fast, and effectively. That is why colleges (public/private ones) need to encourage the develepment and utilization of such information system. Similarly, lecturers need to familiarize the utilization of web based information system in order to facilitate the implementation of lecturer functional job. Modeling is one of the techniques used to describe how information systems will be created and produced. Modeling itself can be used as a reference in the process of developing information systems to suit user needs. One modeling technique that is often used is to use a unified modeling language (UML). Modeling techniques with UML are able to describe various features of information systems. for this reason, in this research a model for the PTPN VII enterprise resource planning (ERP) information system is used as an initial step in fulfilling information management needs. the use of modeling itself is an initial implementation of information technology and information systems in a corporate environment, especially PTPN VII. The results of modeling have been done using three types of diagrams in UML as a reference in the development of structure diagrams created using class diagrams, behavior diagrams created using use case diagrams, and interaction diagrams created using activity diagrams. The results of the modeling have also been implemented in the form of a prototype of the information system so as to provide a clear picture for interested parties if the development of enterprise resource planning (ERP) information systems, especially in the PTPN VII environment. The information system prototype can also describe the initial forms for stakeholders if changes are to be made

The analysis and design of sales and inventory information system performed at PT Nur Islami is aimed to identify the organization needs to control and manage the data and information of operational transaction. The result will be used as a base for developing a new computerized system. The activity in analysis and design is focused in sales and inventory activities, which is the main core of the organization. These needs will be documented using unified modeling language. The C# and SQL Server 2005 will be used to design and develop the application and database for fulfilling the needs. This information system will ease the organization in doing their activity in selling and monitoring the stock. On the other hand, it will also minimize the data lost, which is usually caused by the conservative storage mechanism of transactional data.

The marketing team in PT. Bangun Cakra Mandiri </em><em>Developer </em><em>still using conventional methods to promote their home or by spreading brochure. Some of the weakness of that method to sale a their house, first the customer should come to the office to booking the house. Second, the customer don't know </em><em>the exact location of that housing. The last, there is not information about the house that already booked by other customers</em><em>. </em><em>From the above problems, the researcher designed an information system for booking an Android-based housing that is accompanied by a location plan and can book a house at the same time to attract customer interest. In this research, it is expected that the new system is more effective and efficient so that it can accelerate the process of collecting data for prospective buyers and sales data at PT. Bangun Cakra Mandiri using Android for one of its application developments using the Waterfall development method. Abstract   Analysis and design of information systems is performed to identify the company's needs in the management of data and information of the transaction the company's operations. Analysis and design of it will be used to build a new system that has been integrated and can answer problems–problems encountered. Activity analysis and design method using this Waterfall. With the information systems are expected to facilitate the activities of production, inventory management and purchasing company. Information systems also minimize data loss and human error (huuman error) that often occur due to processing and storing transaction data is done manually. The results of the analysis of the needs of the company will be documented using the unified modeling language.   Keywords: Desktop, Information System, Waterfall   Abstrak   Analisa dan perancangan sistem informasi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan perusahaan dalam pengelolaan data dan informasi transaksi operasional perusahaan. Analisa dan perancangan ini akan digunakan untuk membangun sebuah sistem baru yang telah terintegrasi dan dapat menjawab permasalahan–permasalahan yang dihadapi. Kegiatan analisa dan perancangan ini menggunakan metode Waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem informasi diharapkan mempermudah kegiatan produksi, manajemen persediaan dan pembelian perusahaan.
