Modeling is one of the techniques used to describe how information systems will be created and produced. Modeling itself can be used as a reference in the process of developing information systems to suit user needs. One modeling technique that is often used is to use a unified modeling language (UML). Modeling techniques with UML are able to describe various features of information systems. for this reason, in this research a model for the PTPN VII enterprise resource planning (ERP) information system is used as an initial step in fulfilling information management needs. the use of modeling itself is an initial implementation of information technology and information systems in a corporate environment, especially PTPN VII. The results of modeling have been done using three types of diagrams in UML as a reference in the development of structure diagrams created using class diagrams, behavior diagrams created using use case diagrams, and interaction diagrams created using activity diagrams. The results of the modeling have also been implemented in the form of a prototype of the information system so as to provide a clear picture for interested parties if the development of enterprise resource planning (ERP) information systems, especially in the PTPN VII environment. The information system prototype can also describe the initial forms for stakeholders if changes are to be made

The article deals with the problem of searching and selecting information. Currently, this kind of problem is solved by using search information systems. The main stage of creating a search information system is the development of the project, which is carried out using the unified modeling language UML and the CASE tool Power Designer. When developing a system project using the UML modeling language, all available information about the designed system is represented as a set of graphical elements, in other words, graphical structures. Such constructions are called diagrams. They reflect the essence of the system and consider it from different sides and represent the processes that take place in it in different ways.

Abstract - Knowledge management is needed right now, but many companies or institutions are constrained in conducting knowledge management because of the limitations of the information system. In Information Systems Study Program Universitas Terbuka still uses a manual system that uses Windows file explorer. This results in the difficulty of sharing information with outsiders. Therefore we need a web-based knowledge management information system design that can solve problems so far. The design model in this article uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) model, which is a structural model and techniques for modeling object-oriented program (OOP) design. The results of the design of knowledge management information systems are expected to be able to help develop software later. Keywords: information systems, knowledge management, Unified Modeling Language (UML).   Abstrak - Knowledge manajemen merupakan hal yang dibutuhkan saat ini, namun banyak perusahaan atau lembaga terkendala dalam melakukan knowledge manajemen karena keterbatasan sistem informasi. Di Prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Terbuka masih menggunakan sistem manual yaitu menggunakan windows file explorer. Hal ini mengakibatkan sulitnya berbagi informasi dengan pihak luar. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan sebuah perancangan sistem informasi manajemen knowledge berbasis web yang bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan selama ini. Model perancangan pada artikel ini menggunakan model Unified Modeling Language (UML) yaitu model struktur dan teknik untuk pemodelan desain program berorientasi objek (OOP). Hasil yang dari perancangan sistem informasi manajemen knowledge ini diharapkan bisa membatu pengembangan perangkat lunak nantinya.                                                                                                                     Kata Kunci: sistem informasi, manajemen knowledge, Unified Modeling Language (UML).

The marketing team in PT. Bangun Cakra Mandiri </em><em>Developer </em><em>still using conventional methods to promote their home or by spreading brochure. Some of the weakness of that method to sale a their house, first the customer should come to the office to booking the house. Second, the customer don't know </em><em>the exact location of that housing. The last, there is not information about the house that already booked by other customers</em><em>. </em><em>From the above problems, the researcher designed an information system for booking an Android-based housing that is accompanied by a location plan and can book a house at the same time to attract customer interest. In this research, it is expected that the new system is more effective and efficient so that it can accelerate the process of collecting data for prospective buyers and sales data at PT. Bangun Cakra Mandiri using Android for one of its application developments using the Waterfall development method. <p><em>Z-Tech Computers is a company engaged in the sale of computers and accessories. At present the Z-Tech Computer system runs on a buying and selling process carried out conventionally (manually). This condition occurs in the stock control process. The condition that occurs in Z-Tech Computers is information on the placement of goods that are not organized. This information causes problems that arise inaccurately information on stock data and the position of the finished goods attracts losses for the company. For this reason, in this research information modeling is carried out using an integrated modeling language to describe the needs of buying and selling. The results of modeling carried out are implemented in the form of enterprise resource planning (ERP) using the Odoo Application. UML and implementation using Odoo can be run as needed. Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan informasi menggunakan unified modeling language unutk menjabarkan kebutuhan pada pembelian dan penjualan</em><em>. </em><em>Hasil pemodelan yang dilakukan diimplementasikan dalam bentuk enterprise resource planning (ERP) menggunakan Aplikasi Odoo. Dari hasil implementasi menunjukkan bawah pemodelan UML dan implementasi menggunakan Odoo dapat berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Karena Odoo memiliki beragam modul yang saling terintegrasi, baik modul manajemen pelanggan, akuntansi, penjualan, dan bahkan pembelian.</em></p><p><em><strong>Kata kunci</strong></em><em>: Enterprise Resource Planning, Odoo, Unified Modeling Language</em></p>

Basically the use of integrated information systems can be applied not only for the company, but also education industry, particularly schools. To support business processes at the school, this research would like to describe a conceptual model of information systems using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) notationwith "4 +1 View" architectural model. This model is expected to assist analysis and design the whole business processes at school. A conceptual model of the information system can help application developers to easily and clearly understand the school system. By adopting this information system model, schools are able to have effective understanding of management information systems.

Database triggers are database procedures that are executed automatically when certain events occur and conditions are met. This paper presents a design methodology that helps users implement business processes using database triggers. The contributions of this paper are as follows. First, the proposed methodology uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). UML is a standard modeling language for the software industry and many commercial CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering) tools support UML. Second, many expensive ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software systems are employed to implement business processes. The methodology proposed by this paper produces triggers that can be executed on MySQL, an open-source database system that is free for download. Third, as an example of the usefulness of the proposed methodology, the authors present a case study making use of database triggers in a tax audit process. This process involves many steps that require human intervention, and thus is typical of business processes.

The article considers the task of modeling advanced information systems. The work is based on research on the development of a methodological apparatus for substantiating requirements for military-grade information systems. Currently the requirements for advanced information systems are formed in a natural language, the expressive properties of which are not enough for a concise and unambiguous description of them. The developed methodological approach is based on the construction of a complex of models of system with the integrated use of methodologies of functional and object-oriented modeling of the information system and related management processes, as well as the developed notation of user interface modeling. The use of a unified modeling language provides unambiguous interpretation of models by all participants in the process of developing an information system – from the customer to the developer.

Arista Tehnik Jakarta is an individual company engaged in manufacturing services for AC ducting in buildings. Arista Tehnik Jakarta in processing employee payroll data still uses the manual / conventional method, which is taking notes on bookkeeping so that errors often occur in calculating employee salaries. Calculating employee salaries can have fatal consequences if something goes wrong and it can affect the preparation of payroll reports. The manual / conventional payroll system is not able to provide adequate benefits for calculating employee salaries. With a good payroll system, every company that already has many employees is very much needed. Companies that have many employees definitely need a payroll system that can make it easier to pay salaries appropriately and efficiently. The method used in this research is by making observations, interviews, literature studies, designing information systems followed by the development of information systems and then testing. The result of this research is to produce a computerized payroll information system that provides convenience in providing payroll data information such as employee data information, job data and payroll data. In the Payroll Data Information System using UML (Unified Modeling Language), programming using the CodeIgniter framework, and MySQL for database processing. After the researcher then created a Payroll Information System, the work procedure could be easier for Arista Tehnik Jakarta.

This study aims to create a system that can simplify common operational activities of pharmacy such as purchasing, inventory, and sales. The system is expected to improve manual processes of purchasing, inventory, and sales into a computerized ones. In addition, this system also provides convenience, accuracy, and speed for owner or management to access reports of purchase, inventory, and sales in real-time. The research methods used are literature studies, field studies, and the methods of analysis and design of object-oriented information system design language UML (Unified Modeling Language). Tthe result of this research is an information system of purchasing, inventory, and sales of medicines that may help pharmacies to get information quickly and accurately, and to help pharmacy operations to run more effectively and efficiently.
