“Full Metal Parabellum” is a three-dimensional rail shooter game for smartphone with an Android Operating System. This game was created using Unity 3D game engine for Android platform. In this game, player will have to defeat all enemies in every stages. Player can move the in-game camera and aim by moving the smartphone around. This game is tested by black box testing, alpha testing, and beta testing with a survey distributed to 30 respondents. The survey shows that Full Metal Parabellum is a fun game that easy to play, and the gyroscope feature that was implemented in this game is working as planned.

Barong Bangkung adalah sebuah tradisi di Bali yang dipentaskan dengan berkeliling desa atau istilahnya (ngelawang) oleh dua orang penari pada hari-hari tertentu yang dianggap keramat atau saat terjadinya wabah penyakit menyerang desa tanpa membawakan sebuah lakon dan diiringi dengan gamelan batel atau tetamburan. Perkembangan Barong ngelawang kini mengalami perubahan. Semula Barong ngelawang yang sakral, tetapi dalam perkembangannya muncul kegiatan Barong ngelawang yang dilakukan anak-anak untuk menghibur dan mencari uang. Maka diperlukan untuk membuat sebuah media yang dapat mengenalkan tradisi barong bangkung ngelawang sesuai dengan tradisi aslinya yang religius. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperkenalkan tradisi asli dari Barong Bangkung ngelawang dalam bentuk sebuah game 3D berbasis Android. Dalam membangun Game 3D Barong Bangkung Runner Berbasis Android menggunakan metode pengembangan GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Unity 3D Game Engine dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman C# (C-Sharp)., Blender, Adobe Photoshop, dan Audition. Bahasa pemodelan yang digunakan adalah  UML (Unified Modelling Language). Hasil dari penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan Game 3D Barong Bangkung Runner Berbasis Android. Pengujian Game ini menggunakan metode Black Box dan hasilnya game dapat berjalan baik pada perangkat dengan RAM 3GB ke atas

Haji merupakan rukun Islam yang kelima yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh seorang muslim yang telah mampu melaksanakannya. Manasik haji pada dasarnya adalah memberikan pelajaran atau informasi mengenai tata cara melaksanakan ibadah haji, sehingga tidak hanya terbatas pada calon jama’ah haji, biasanya masyarakat beragama muslim mempelajari tata cara melaksanakan ibadah haji dengan menggunakan buku-buku atau dengan cara memperagakan langsung dengan cara mensimulasikan tata cara ibadah haji sesuai dengan kondisi yang sebenarnya. Namun banyak kalangan masyarakat muslim yang enggan mendalami manasik haji, dikarenakan beberapa hal seperti tidak adanya waktu, dan kurangnya minat mempelajari dikarenakan kurang menarik dan tidak praktis. Dari hal tersebut sehingga muncul ide untuk membuat aplikasi simulasi manasik haji berbasis virtual 3D, aplikasi ini berisi tentang simulasi untuk rukun haji. Aplikasi manasik haji berbasis virtual reality ini dirancang dan dibuat dengan menggunakan software 3Ds Max dan unity 3D Game Engine. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi manasik haji yang dapat menampilkan simulasi virtual reality, yang meliputi simulasi tiba di bandara, Wukuf di Arafah, Mabit di Muzdalifah, Mabit di Mina, Jumrah, Tawaf, Sa’i dan simulasi Tahallul. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan akan terjadi peningkatan minat masyarakat dalam mempelajari tata cara pelaksanaan ibadah haji.Kata kunci : virtual reality, manasik haji, simulasi, 3D.

Shortest pathfinding problem has become a populer issue in Game’s Artificial Intelligent (AI). This paper discussed the effective way to optimize the shortest pathfinding problem, namely Navigation Mesh (NavMesh). This method is very interesting because it has a large area of implementation, especially in games world. In this paper, NavMesh was implemented by using A* (A star) algorithm and examined in Unity 3D game engine. A* was an effective algorithm in shortest pathfinding problem because its optimization was made with effective tracing using segmentation line. Pac-Man game was chosen as the example of the shortest pathfinding by using NavMesh in Unity 3D. A* algorithm was implemented on the enemies of Pac-Man (three ghosts),  which path was designed by using NavMesh concept. Thus, the movement of ghosts in catching Pac-Man was the result of this review of the effectiveness of this concept. In further research, this method could be implemented on several optimization programmes, such as Geographic Information System (GIS), robotics, and statistics.

Game optimization is one of the most important aspects of their creation. The article describes methods to optimize Unity Engine using third person perspective game as an example. Various methods that rely on offloading graphics card, by increasing the use of CPU and memory were used in order to check how the game performance changes.

Solar energy modelling is increasingly popular, important, and economic significant in solving energy crisis for big cities. It is a clean and renewable resource of energy that can be utilized to accommodate individual or group of buildings electrical power as well as for indoor heating. Implementing photovoltaic system (PV) in urban areas is one of the best options to solve power crisis over expansion of urban and the growth of population. However, as the spaces for solar panel installation in cities are getting limited nowadays, the available strategic options are only at the rooftop and façade of the building. Thus, accurate information and selecting building with the highest potential solar energy amount collected is essential in energy planning, environmental conservation, and sustainable development of the city. Estimating the solar energy/radiation from rooftop and facade are indeed having a limitation - the shadows from other neighbouring buildings. The implementation of this solar estimation project for Istanbul uses CityGML LoD2-LoD3. The model and analyses were carried out using Unity 3D Game engine with development of several customized tools and functionalities. The results show the estimation of potential solar energy received for the whole area per day, week, month and year thus decision for installing the solar panel could be made. We strongly believe the Unity game engine platform could be utilized for near future 3D mapping visualization purposes.

STMIK Umel Mandiri as one of the universities in Jayapura is still less well known, apart from being relatively new in its age and the location of the campus building which is blocked by buildings. So that people sometimes do not know the exact location of the campus. To promote the campus, one of the advertising media used is brochures. Along with current technological developments, augmented reality technology has emerged which is able to combine 2 (two) realities, namely the real and virtual world. When used in brochures, it can provide a feel and experience for readers. So that promoting goods or services can be done more interactively, as well as providing more information to consumers about the product. This augmented reality technology is then used as a solution to the problems faced by STMIK Umel Mandiri in promoting its educational institutions. The purpose of this research is to produce an android application that can display a 3 (three) dimensional brochure model by utilizing augmented reality technology so that it can help the public to get to know the campus to be chosen well. The research method has several stages, namely collecting data about the needs of prospective new students regarding information about the STMIK Umel Mandiri campus, then making a 3 (three) dimensional model of the STMIK Umel Mandiri Campus Building. Then next, do the design of compatible augmented reality on smartphone devices using the Android operating system, and produce 3 (three) dimensional augmented reality objects. This research produces an application based on augmented reality technology that is used to help promote the STMIK Umel Mandiri Campus through devices with the android operating system.

Smartphones with Android operating system is one proof that the very quickly progress of technology. Functions and services on Android smartphones is no longer just for communication but also for entertainment such as games. Application are made in this research is a game that applies artificial intelligence with pathfinding techniques and can be played in single player and two players using the wireless local area network as data traffic lane with distribution techniques client server and can be played on smartphones with Android operating system. Software used to create this game is the Unity 3D engine. Unity 3D is a game creator software that is very powerful at this time. By using Unity 3D can make a game in a variety of devices, one of which is on a smartphones with Android operating system. With the application of this game can be a means the entertainment for anybody.

The Covid-19 pandemic has limited activities outside the home. One of the government's efforts to break the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus is to urge people to stay at home and carry out all work and study activities online. To get rid of boredom during a pandemic, researchers took the initiative to make a game about teenage nightmares during a pandemic that can be played on Android devices. This research is the creation of an Android-based Pandemic Nightmare game. The method used is FSM (Finite State Machine) as the artificial intelligence of the NPC (Non Playable Character) character in the Pandemic Nightmare game. The need for the thesis product being developed includes Unity 3D as a game engine and Android as a test device. The results of this research are a product in the form of a game that can be run on devices with an Android operating system at least version 5.0 Lollipop. These products have features such as touch controls on the smartphone screen, NPCs that have artificial intelligence, items that can be collected at each level, sound settings, level selection, and fear features that can reduce player visibility. Based on the features contained in the Pandemic Nightmare game, all features can function properly and correctly. Based on user testing, it is known that the majority of users think the games developed are good. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that artificial intelligence with the FSM (Finite State Machine) method functions properly, the control buttons and menu buttons function properly. Based on user testing, the Pandemic Nightmare game is good and worth playing.
