The research aimed to determine the factors affecting online donation intention of Generation Y, particularly in donation-based crowdfunding in Indonesia, because even though online donation had been trending in Indonesia, not all donation projects are successful. Therefore further research was needed to identify factors that influence the success of an online donation project. Using quantitative method, the research used combination of Theory of Planned Behavior (Attitude, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control), Social Presence Theory, and S-O-R Theory (Website Quality, Transaction Convenience, Perceived Credibility). The research used purposive sampling with total of 118 respondents. The result of the analysis suggests that millennials’ intention to donate is significantly affected by the perceived credibility of the crowdfunding platform. This is mainly because the transaction is conducted online, hence the donors are concerned about whether their donation is going to be distributed properly. Subsequently, the perceived credibility of crowdfunding platform is significantly affected by social presence, website quality, and transaction convenience, which support previous research related to Social Presence Theory and S-O-R Theory. Meanwhile, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control have no significant impact on intention to donate, which may be due to several issues such as trust and security issues considering the donation is conducted through online. The crowdfunding platforms and fundraisers in Indonesia are expected to have guidelines about important aspects that may affect individual’s intention to donate in crowdfunding platform.

Compared with traditional charities, donation-based crowdfunding has many novel characteristics. Among the variety of factors that influence potential donors before they develop a donation intention, which are the main ones influencing the intention to donate online? The purpose of this paper is to investigate the key potential determinants of both time and money donations. This study attempts to combine the theory of planned behavior and norm activation theory with social presence theory to conceptualize and develop an integration framework to measure the donation intention. The results of the structural equation modeling, based on 350 valid questionnaire responses received from November 19 to December 19, 2018, suggest that the dependent variable of time donations is significantly affected by social presence, trust, and perceived behavioral control. As for the dependent variable of money donations, only subjective norm has an insignificant effect. The study results offer practical guidelines about the unique aspects of donation to managers of crowdfunding platform and fundraisers.

This research aimed to determine the factors affecting accounting students’ interest in obtaining the CA certification. The theory of planned behavior is used as a theoretical basis to explain the effect of attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on the interest in obtaining CA certification. The level of knowledge is also one of the information factors that can influence behavior intention. The number of samples used in this study was 168 respondents to determine the sample, namely the simple random sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis results indicate that attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control positively affect accounting students’ interest to obtain CA certification. Meanwhile, the level of knowledge about CA does not affect accounting students’ interest to obtain CA certification. Purpose: The aim of this paper is to assess the level and relationship between attitude, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms with waste segregation-at-source behavior among households in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Design/Methodology/Approach: A multi-stage sampling method used to obtain four hundred households in Putrajaya for the purpose of responding to the bilingual questionnaire. The quantitative data collected were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Version 26.0 software. Specifically, the descriptive and Pearson correlation analysis used to describe and summarize the levels and interrelationships of the variables studied with waste segregation-at-source behavior. Findings: The assessment of the overall factors affecting households with waste segregation-at-source behavior has shown that 92.5 per cent of respondents are considered to have a favorable attitude. Households surveyed are also found to be highly influenced by perceived behavioral control but moderately influenced by the subjective norm. In addition, the results show that attitudes, perceived behavioral control and subjective norm have a positive relationship with waste segregation-at-source behavior. Implications/Originality/Value: The findings provide insight, in particular, to individual, governmental, educational and non-governmental organizations in Malaysia on important criteria that should be considered in the promotion of environmental policies.

This study examined the formation of residents’ behavioral intentions to support the expansion of protected areas (PAs). A structural equation model combining the theory of planned behavior and an expectancy disconfirmation model were employed to test seven hypotheses on the influence of expectations, performance, satisfaction, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on behavioral intention to support PA designation. The findings indicate that although the expectations of PA performance did not significantly influence the satisfaction from PAs, the perceived performance after the designation significantly contributed to building satisfaction, which in turn had a significant role in explaining attitudes. Furthermore, positive and significant associations of subjective norms and behavioral control with behavioral intention to support additional designation were identified. These results provide indications for PA managers and environmental agencies regarding aspects to consider when engaging in planning with local communities and appropriate ways to respond to their concerns.

Due to today economic conditions, entrepreneurship is one the emerging source for the economic growth and prosperity. Now the individuals diverting their intentions to entrepreneurship, for this reason this has examined the role of entrepreneurial education, internship quality and elements of TPB (attitude, social norms, perceived behavioral control) affect the entrepreneurial intentions. Students were considered for data collection who have done internship during their study time period. Data were collected by using convince sampling technique by using questionnaires. Smart-PLS has been used for the data analysis. The findings of the study show that all variables are significantly and positively associated with entrepreneurial intentions. The result shows that entrepreneurial education, internship quality, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control are positively significantly related with entrepreneurial intentions. The findings of the study shows that only financial resources are not enough to start a new business, behavioral factor also affect the entrepreneurial mind set. Among all the variables perceived behavioral control emerge to be a strongest predictor of entrepreneurial intentions. Whereas subjective norms predicted the entrepreneurial intentions with smallest effect size and explained only 5% variance in entrepreneurial intentions. Practical implications and future directions are provided at the end of the study.

Abstract Background Teaching engineering at a high school level has been a subject of substantial concern during recent curriculum reforms. Many countries are increasingly including engineering-focused subjects in their technology curriculum guidelines. However, technology teachers face challenges regarding the optimal implementation of an engineering-focused curriculum. It is essential to understand technology teachers’ perceptions of and behavior in classroom practices when teaching an engineering-focused curriculum. To explore the factors influencing the effective implementation of the curriculum, this study aimed to explore the association between technology teachers’ perceptions regarding curriculum guidelines (i.e., perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and beliefs) and their behavioral intentions. In addition, this study explored how these perceptions change for teachers who participated in a professional development program (PDP) for teaching an engineering-focused curriculum compared with those who did not participate in the program (NoPDP). Results In this study, structural equation modeling was used to investigate factors potentially influencing teachers’ behavioral intentions, including subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. The results showed that technology teachers’ behavioral intentions were influenced by their perceptions of the curriculum's usefulness. Subjective norms and perceived behavioral control were also significant determinants of behavioral intentions. Moreover, the results differed between the two groups. Perceived usefulness had direct and indirect effects on the behavioral intentions of the PDP and NoPDP groups, respectively. Conclusions We constructed a model of technology teachers’ behavioral intentions to implement an engineering-focused curriculum and identified factors influencing technology teachers’ behavioral intentions to implement an engineering-focused curriculum. Our conclusions are as follows: (1) the model was adequate for determining the factors influencing technology teachers’ behavioral intentions; (2) in the PDP group, perceived usefulness, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control were significantly associated with behavioral intentions; and (3) in the NoPDP group, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were associated with behavioral intentions and self-reported behavior only via the mediating factor of beliefs. The above influencing factors should be taken into account when planning professional development programs for pre- and in-service teachers, as these programs will have implications regarding the successful implementation of an engineering-focused curriculum.

Higher education institutions (HEIs), among other social systems, have an irreplaceable role in combating COVID-19. However, we know little about institutional and individual factors that might facilitate university students’ beliefs and behaviors toward preventive behaviors for COVID-19 within the higher education context. Our study applies an extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) model to investigate the structural relationships among the institutional climate, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and preventive behaviors of university students and to detect the moderating impacts of perceived risk on the structural model. Data were collected from 3693 university students at 18 universities in Beijing, China through an online survey. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and multigroup analysis were performed to examine the empirical model. The results reveal that (1) the institutional climate has a significant, direct effect on preventive behaviors for COVID-19 among university students, (2) the TPB components, namely attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control, partially mediate the relationship between the institutional climate and preventive behaviors for COVID-19, and (3) perceived risk moderates several paths in the model. Theoretical and practical implications are offered, and recommendations for future research are outlined.

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world of its 240 million people,88.2% are Muslims. Islamic banks exist because of the public's need for alternative transactions thatare interest-free. However, the growth of Islamic banks in Indonesia is still not optimal, one of thefactors is that people are still not enthusiastic about Islamic banks and the lack of intention of thepeople to become customers of Islamic banks. There are several factors that affect the intention interms of planned behavior theory, namely attitudes, subjective norms and perceptions of behaviorcontrol. So the research aims to determine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms and perceptionsof behavioral control on the intention of the people of Bekasi city to become customers in Islamicbanks. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are the results ofquestionnaires distributed to 12 districts in the city of Bekasi. The sample consisted of 132 people inBekasi city who were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data were tested partially andsimultaneously. The data is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version22. The results of this study show partially that attitude variables have a positive and significant effect,subjective norm variables have a positive and significant effect, behavioral control perceptions have apositive but insignificant effect on intention to become a customer. Islamic Bank. Meanwhile, attitudes,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control simultaneously have a significant positive effect onthe intention to become a customer of Islamic banks. Future research is expected to expand the scopeof research, add variables and other factors and extend the research period.

Graduate students have become the driving force of scientific research at Chinese universities. Therefore, further work is needed to understand what influences postgraduate students' academic integrity. Using the theory of planned behavior, this study investigated the relationships between postgraduates' attitude toward academic integrity, social norms (subjective, descriptive, and moral), perceived behavioral control, and intentions, and examined the moderating role of social identity in the relationship between social norms and intentions. We conducted a survey with 1,256 Chinese biomedical postgraduate students, and analyzed the data with structural equation modeling. The results show that attitude, subjective norms, descriptive norms, and perceived behavioral control influenced students' academic integrity-related behavioral intentions. The model explained over half of the variance in intentions, indicating that attitude, subjective norms, descriptive norms, and perceived behavioral control were the main variables influencing academic integrity-related behaviors. The theory of planned behavior can be applied in research on postgraduates' academic integrity.
