Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan pendekatan saintifik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran.Kualitas perangkat pembelajaran terdiri dari tiga kriteria berikut: (1) kevalidan, (2) kepraktisan, dan (3) keefektifan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri atas RPP, LKS dan instrumen penilaian aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut:(1)perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kevalidanberdasarkan hasil validasi ahli; (2) perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh guru, penilaian oleh siswa, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran.; (3) perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik. Developing Mathematics Instructional Materials for 8th Grade Students of Junior High School in Their Second Semester Based on the Scientific Approach AbstractThe aim of this study is  to produce mathematics instructional materials for 8thgrade students of junior high school in their second semester based on the scientific approach which is valid, practical, and effective.This study was a research and development study using the Four-D development model consisting of fourstages: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop,and (4) disseminate.The quality of instructional materials consisting of the following three criterion: (1) validity, (2) practicality, and (3) effectiveness, The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive quantitative analysis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika untuk SMP kelas VII semester genap dengan pendekatan saintifik yang meliputi RPP, LKS, dan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Four-D yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran. Tidak semua produk dilakukan uji pengembangan. Uji pengembangan produk hanya dilakukan pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu vaiabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang telah dilakukan uji pengembangan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Produk memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan persentase penilaian ahli mencapai 100%. Produk memenuhi kriteria praktis berdasarkan penilaian guru dan siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, serta berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksaan pembelajaran. Produk memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Development testing of product was done only for linear equality and inequality with one variable. The result of the study shows that the product which has done development test is valid, practical, and effective. The product fulfills the validity criterion. It is shown by the percentage of experts’ appraisal which reaches 100% that belongs to a valid category. The product fulfills the practicality criterion based on teacher and student assesment to the instructional material that is in a very good category. The product also fulfills the practicality criterion based on the percentage of teaching implementation. The percentage of teaching implementation exceeded 90%. The product fulfills the effectiveness criterion based on student learning achievement in attitude, knowledge, and skill competency. The percentage of students that achieve minimum mastery criteria for attitude, knowledge, and skill competency exceeded 75%.Keywords: development, instructional material, scientific approach

The purpose of this study was to develop a realistic worksheet using the Ethnomatematics on SPLDV material and to determine the quality of worksheets in terms of validity and practicality. The method used in this study is the Research and Dependency (R&D) method which is a developmental study referring to the 4-D development model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate modified to 3-D. The instruments used to measure the quality of worksheets that were developed include validation sheets, and practicality questionnaires. The product of this research is a realistic worksheet using ethnomatematics context on SPLDV material with the advice of eighth grade students of junior high school. The results showed that: (1) the quality of worksheets seen from the validity aspects included in the valid category with an overall average score of 3.06; and (2) the quality of worksheets seen from the practical aspect is categorized very practical with an overall average score of 3.5. Conclusion, the development of PMRI-based worksheets in the context of ethnomatematics in SPLDV material was declared valid and practically used by students. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada materi pokok geometri ruang SMP yang memenuhi kriteria kualitas: valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Four-D terdiri dari empat langkah: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) diseminasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan analsis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing produk memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Produk memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, ditunjukkan dari persentase penilaian ahli mencapai 100% yang termasuk dalam kategori valid. Produk memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian oleh guru dan siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Produk memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan juga berdasarkan persentase keterlaksaan pembelajaran yang melebihi 80%. Produk memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. The product fulfills the validity criterion. It is shown by the percentage of experts appraisal which reaches 100%, that belongs to a valid category. The product fulfills the practicality criterion based on teacher and student assesment to the instructional material, that is in a very good category. The product also fulfills the practicality criterion based on the percentage of teaching implementation. The percentage of teaching implementation exceeded 80%. The purpose of this study was to produce mathematical E-books based on the problem of cube and class VIII SMP / MTs material. This mathematical E-book development uses the Four-D development model. The model consists of 4 stages, namely, Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This E-book was validated by three validators including one media expert, one material expert, and one junior high school math teacher. After the E-book was declared valid, then it is tested to students. The test subjects for the development of E-books were limited trial subjects, namely six students of class VIII at Al Maarif 01 Islamic Junior High School Singosari. The trial was conducted to determine the feasibility of E-books to be used in the learning process. Based on the results of expert and practitioner validation data analysis, overall the developed E-book was declared valid with the results of the average rating of 3.29 and fulfilling the validity criteria set. Whereas in user trials, E-books were declared valid by obtaining an average score of 3.29. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the E-book has met the criteria eligible for use in the learning process.

The aims of this research is to describe the process and outcomes of the development of learning equipment using the GeoGebra-assisted with scientific approach for common tangent of to two circles on 8th grade junior high school which is valid, practical, and effective. The process of developing learning equipment in this research use the Plomp model (2010) consisting of preliminary research phase by analyzing students’ needs and material analyzing, the second phase is prototyping that arranging learning equipment based of the result from the previous anlysis and the last phase is assessment by testing the result of the development of learning equipment. The learning equipment developed are Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Worksheet. Based on the results of the validation, the learning equipment meets the validity criteria with  is 3,23 then the Syllabus is valid,  is 3,43 then the Lesson Plan is very valid and  is 3,22 then Student Worksheet is valid. The learning equipment meets the practicality criteria based on observations implementation with average score on the first day is 3,78 and the second day is 3,92 which is included in the excellent category. The effectiveness criteria are meets based on the results of the students' responses in the positive category is 85,2% and the results of the student learning test with the percentage of students completing classical learning in the high category is 81,25%. Based on the results of the analysis of these data, the result of this research is that the learning equipment using the GeoGebra-assisted scientific approach for common tangent of to two circles on 8th grade junior high school fullfilled the criteria of valid, practical and effective.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa disfungsi tugas komite sekolah sebagai penindaklanjut aspirasi masyarakat tidak mempengaruhi turunnya mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Hal ini karena perangkat pendidikan SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta sebagai sebuah sistem sosial bersifat otopoietik yang dapat memperbaharui ketidakberfungsian pada salah satu atau beberapa subsistem pendidikan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques by interview. Data analysis was performed using the Milles & Huberman analysis technique model. The conclusion of this study is the dysfunction in the school committee's duties as a follow-up role for community aspirations does not affect the decline in the quality of education at Surakarta 1 Public Junior High School. This is because the educational apparatus of Surakarta 1 Public Junior High School as a social system is autopoietic which can renew the malfunctioning in one or several of its subsystems. Participation is expanded in various aspects, including facilities, infrastructure, and cooperation with stakeholders

Salah satu pendekatan yang membuat siswa aktif dan meningkatkan keingintahuan siswa dalam tuntutan Kurikulum 2013 adalah pendekatan saintifik. Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik perlu ditunjang dengan ketersediaan bahan ajar yang tepat, salah satunya adalah LKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model LKS koordinat Cartesius untuk kelas VIII SMP berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research & Development. Model pengembangan mengacu pada model ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 9 siswa kelas VIII. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan untuk medapatkan LKS yang memenuhi aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model LKS koordinat Cartesius yang dikembangkan berdasarkan lima tahapan  ADDIE telah memenuhi kriteria valid, sangat praktis, dan efektif dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal berada pada kategori sangat baik.   Kata kunci: Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS), Saintifik, Model ADDIE Abstract: One of approach to make students active and develop student’s curiosity according to curicculum 2013 is scientific approach.  Learning using scientific approach is needed to supported by availability of good learning sources. One of them is worksheet. This research aims to develop the model of worksheet on Cartesius coordinate topic based scientific approach for Junior High School Students class VIII. This research is research and development. Development model using ADDIE with the five steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Try Out was done on nine students of class VIII Junior High School. The instruments were validation sheets, student’s response quationare, and test. Analysis data tehcnique was quantitative to get the quality of worksheet from its validity, practically, and effectiveness. This study aims to produce a mathematics learning set for special-needs students (mathematical learning disability and mathematically gifted) of Junior High School Grade VIII Second Semester oriented to learning interests and achievement which is valid, practical, and effective. This study was a research and development study using the Four-D development model consisting of four stages: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The quality of learning set consisting of the following three criterions: (1) validity, (2) practicality, and (3) effectiveness.  The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive quantitative analysis. The research produced learning set consisting of lesson plans and student worksheets. The result of the research shows that: (1) the learning set fulfill the valid criteria base on experts’ appraisal; (2) the learning set fulfill the practical criterion base on teacher’s and students’ questionnaire, and observation of learning implementation; (3) the learning set fulfill the effectiveness criterion base on learning interest and achievement.

The creation of the curriculum aims to improve the quality of education in the country. It is also happening in  Indonesia, where the curriculum is always created with the aim of improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The aim of this study was to investigate the implementation of a scientific approach to teaching English in Junior High School in the Indonesian rural areas context. Qualitative method used in this study on pilot project school of 2013 curriculum. The research subject was the English language teacher who has been teaching using the 2013 curriculum. The data then analyzed using Analysis Interactive's Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. It can be found that the teacher already implements the scientific steps consist of (observing, questioning, collecting data, associating, and communicating). On the other hand, there was still a lot of problem face by the teacher while applying this method, such as a lot of time is spent on this activity, a large number of students, limited time allocation given and also lack of teaching source.Keywords: English Teaching, Implementation, Scientific, Rural Area

The purpose of this developmental research was to develop a scientific approach based science worksheet on the dynamic electrical material topic for ninth-grade junior high school students.  The worksheet were developed based on scientific approach. The stages include:  observing, asking questions, gathering information, processing information, and communicating. The development model used is the 4-D Model consists of 4 stages: define,  design, develop, and desimanate. The results of the validation, a small and large group trials indicated that the used of the scientific approach based science worksheet was appropriate for use. Thus, the developed worksheets can be used in the process of learning for Junior high school science students. Keywords : Worksheet , Scientific approach
