This paper aimed to determine the economic attributes related to the sustainability of Malaysian construction. The method for data collection is questionnaire survey, which collected from 50 respondents. The results showed that there are many momentous economical attributes identified, which are IBS offers long-term monitoring mechanism by using Life Cycle Costing in cost development, the thoughts of environmental-related products are always involved a huge financial burden up-front and more speed on Return-on-Investment of a project. The objective of the main research is to investigate the current state of implementation of mechanisation and automation in the Industrialised Building System (IBS). The aim of this paper however, is to provide an overview on the implementation of mechanisation and automation in the IBS construction approach. Questionnaire survey and semi structured interviews were conducted to collect the viewpoints among contractors and manufacturers of IBS to ensure the richness of the data collected. The results illustrated that although most respondents have agreed on most critical issues in the implementation of mechanisation and automation, they were not ready to move forward. These responses were quite consistent across the professions. The absence of success factors focusing on the Industrialised Building System (IBS) process of project implementation initiates this study. Therefore, the aim of this research is to establish the success factors within the initial works of the IBS process of project implementation. Comprehensive literature review revealed that success factors are; the management, the government policies and initiatives, the coordination between design and construction, and the technical aspects of project deliverables. Questionnaire survey distributed amongst G7, IBS contractors unanimously agreed on these as success factors for the initial works of the IBS process of project implementation. The purpose of this paper is to explore the concept of supply chain partnering practiced in Industrialised Building System. The relationship was based on the elements of trust, share a vision, decision-making and continuous improvement. The methodology adopted used quantitative and qualitative approach. Outcomes of the results, the public clients point out on the element of trust in between contractors were based effectiveness of communication. The Malaysian Government has put a great effort in promoting the usage of industrialized building system (IBS) in the construction industry. However, the implementation is still far from the expected outcome. Even many advantages have been offered by IBS implementation; the stakeholders still hold many negative perceptions towards its applicability. These perceptions are one of the contributing factors to the poor adoption of IBS components in the construction industry. Prefabrication and offsite construction promotes sustainability in the construction environment and industry that is essential to protect ecosystems, improves air quality, reduces waste, conserves natural resources and improves water quality. This paper discusses a study on adopting modular construction through Industrialised Building System (IBS) approach in the Malaysian construction industry. The sustainability principles in offsite construction and IBS have always maintained a balance between environment and construction, improve human self-respect and encourage economic development. The enhancement of quality and to promote sustainability in the construction or built environment can be achieved through the adoption of offsite manufacturing (OSM). The adoption OSM through modular construction is already being adopted all over the world but to be considered as new technology and innovation in Malaysia. This paper will discuss the development of a framework for modular construction that embraced the Malaysian IBS approach. The framework is developed from the existing framework, literature review and the findings of the case studies. Conflicts between humans and animals have been a challenge due to rapid urbanization. Most of the forest is cleared to build roads and highway. Thus, animals need to migrate or move for their survival. This paper aims to review wildlife roadkill data from PERHILITAN and arranged it under several groups of species. Here, quantitative analysis of the roadkill data is used to select one species as the primary subject (Malayan Tapir). It has been observed that Malayan Tapir has involved in 68 vehicle collisions with a total loss of RM6.8 million in 5 years. This paper is an examination of the gentrification process and its impact on local businesses in the Gyeongridan neighborhood, Seoul. Commercial gentrification has many benefits as well as being associated with local disparity of residents. While culturally sensitive visitors enjoy the new consumption experience, it is at the expense of the local businesses. In-depth interviews were conducted with long-term shop owners to investigate the impact of gentrification in their businesses and lives. Our interpretive examination of different attitudes towards the transition revealed that reactions of long-term shop owners vary according to their situation, somewhat contrary to previous studies.Keywords: retail gentrification; sustainable neighborhood; Gyeongridan; displacementeISSN 2398-4295 © 2018. Incorporating mechanisation and automation in the construction process is necessary to reduce production time and costs, improve working conditions, avoiding dangerous works, allow work to be performed where people cannot do, and eventually will increase performance, and product quality. The workforce has always been the backbone of the construction industry in the Industrialised Building System (IBS). Previous researchers often obtain data and opinions from the perspective of construction professionals and often neglect the labour workforce opinion. This study aims to investigate various factors that affect the workforce's productivity in IBS performance. The data collection amounts 60 targeted respondents. This study found a strong correlation between motivation, education, and workforce skill level that affects productivity in implementing IBS. The resolution is to propose an improvement of monetary incentive and academic level of the workforce.
