BIM technology used more widely in construction industry in developed countries in Europe and the United States, the integration of building information modeling (BIM) in the domestic large-scale propulsion was still difficult, and further the trend of widening the gap with foreign advanced level. In order to identify problems and solve the current status quo, and cut into the integrated information from project management point of view of China's architectural design, and analysis the status quo of BIM technology in our project management and developmental disabilities, and BIM-based technology and related parties mutual relations, to explain the development prospects of its application in China.

In recent years, the construction industry faced major challenges in ensuring a balance between environmental, economic, and social aspects. There are a lot of different studies on different aspects of the construction industry. Most of the available studies look at the construction supervision process mainly from the constructor’s point of view. However, there is little research on the market surveillance and supervision process performed by the government and its role in ensuring sustainability in a particular area. The aim of this study was to identify the main activities within the construction supervision process to achieve the sustainability of construction. The theoretical framework of the concept of sustainability in construction and in the activities of the supervision process was analyzed on the basis of a literature survey. The research revealed a connection between sustainability elements and the construction supervision activities. The results of the survey identified the most important factors that influence, negatively as well as positively, the achievements of sustainability in the supervision process. The research results are significant in order to create a construction supervision process which would not only ensure the compliance with the set requirements but also help achieve sustainability in the particular area. Research Limitations/Implications: Research is focused on the supervision process of public building construction in Latvia.

Among the actions proposed by the European Union for the implementation of Circular Economy is the use of waste as a secondary raw material (SRM). During the fusion of the scrap, a steel dust is generated, named Electric Arc Furnace Dust (EAFD). The EAFD is composed mainly of potentially leachable heavy metals, so is classified as “hazardous” waste. Around the world, approximately 70% of this waste is deposited in landfills, with a previous treatment through cement-based materials to prevent the metals’ mobility. However, this action is not in accordance with the Circular Economy concept due to the greater use of resources and the loss of deposited metals. The present investigation analyses the use of EAFD as SRM in conventional mortar production for its use as a construction material. Different substitution percentages (25%, 50% and 100%) were used replacing siliceous filler by EAFD. The investigation analysed the behaviour of conventional mortars by tests of workability, compressive strength, water absorption by capillarity and leaching behaviour in granular and monolithic state. The results obtained indicate a slight improvement in mechanical behaviour with the incorporation of EAFD, the reason why its use as SRM in conventional mortars would benefit the construction industry and would encourage the Circular Economy. From an environmental point of view, the mechanisms of Pb fixation should be improved in granular state.

India is a largest growing economies in the world. There are several sectors helps to the expansion of economic growth. Among these sectors construction industry is the main field which leads to the spread of economic activities. Eighteenth century witnessed industrial revolution in England. The term industrialization refers the process which assists to the expansion of economic condition of any Informal or unorganized sector. In India nearly 273 million workers engaged in construction Industry in which 92 % of them are working in unorganized sectors. Undoubtedly the process of industrialization helps every nation for the economic development, simultaneously creates various social problems. Considering the fact, the present study aims to find out the socio- economic condition of construction workers with a sociological point of view in Chitradurga district. Because the construction workers facing perilous condition and leading vulnerable life. Health hazards, economic instability, seasoned job are the main problems of these workers. Nonetheless, the present study tries to explain the difficulty of construction workers in a sociological background.

The article is devoted to questions of theoretical and methodological provision of state regulation ofeconomic systems, in particular the construction industry. The article presents the theoretical definition ofthe category of state regulation mechanism as the main structural element of this system. The analysis ofmechanisms of state regulation is carried out, the results of which are proposed classification of mechanismsof state regulation by the nature of their influence on the object of public administration. The analysis oftheoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of the state regulation mechanism gave the opportunityto develop a system of grouping these approaches, to identify their advantages and disadvantages and toformulate the author's definition of the concept of state regulation of the construction industry based on theachievements of the representatives of the system approach. The classification of mechanisms of state regulation has been carried out, which showed that themain means of influence on the object of state management can be accumulated in the following blocks:regulatory, organizational, economic, informational and tax. These are the components of the state'sregulatory policy aimed at streamlining economic activity, in particular in the field of construction. In theanalysis of theoretical and methodological approaches to the definition of the category of state regulation, three groups of these approaches are distinguished: structural, defining the components of state regulation, functional, describing the category from the point of view of those functions that it has to execute, and thesystem that reflects the complexity of the concept state regulation.

In the context of sustainable local development of the Adrar region, one of the largest regions in the Algerian Sahara. The search for local useful substances has been initiated by the Algerian state to cover the need for building materials in the construction industry. However, from a geological point of view, the Adrar zone is located in the extension of the primary chain of the Ougarta which separates two sedimentary basins of Reggane and Timimoun, as well as the basin of Sbâa. In this context, an experimental study is focused on the characterization of clay deposits, with a view to their valorization in the construction materials industry (ceramics) sector, with the aim of contributing to the use of local materials.

Importance is placed upon reliability due to the exceedingly high consequential losses that can arise when seemingly minor breakdowns occur. The manner in which fluid power has made incursion into construction equipment is described, with indication of present and future trends for its further use with reference to possible rivals in power transmission deriving from the electric wheel and gas turbine developments. The necessity for a ‘whole machine’ design concept is stressed, and which must include the operator. The changing pattern of maintenance procedures in the construction industry and what this implies for the fluid power industry is described.

The main issues of quality management in the construction industry and their role in the company are highlighted in the article. The main subsystems of quality management are defined. The grouping of the most significant risks in construction from the point of view of quality assurance of documentary, personnel, material and technical support is conducted. The necessity of joint formation of quality management and risk management systems for the purpose of effective and long-term functioning of construction enterprises has been argued.

The role of innovations in the construction industry is considered in the article. In the conditions of transition of national economy to the innovative type of development, the indicators that allow estimating the efficiency of innovative activity, where the key aspect is the comprehensive assessment, are important. Innovative projects are especially relevant for the construction industry, which is the key driver of the national economy development. Sustainable construction ensures the development of industries, where innovative projects can partly solve the problems of creating renewable energy sources. The authors offer to expand the list of indicators for the assessment of the innovative project efficiency not only from the financial and investment point of view, but also taking into account quantitative and quality, scientific, technological, operational, marketing indicators, which often are not considered. The assessment of the innovative projects efficiency has to be the central link in the innovation management; so the authors offer to improve the system of the balanced indicators. The balanced system of indicators (BSI) is developed. It is planned to extend and to introduce BSI not only at the level of the enterprises, but also for all the types of economic activity according to their technological effectiveness.
