Introduction. To prevent the formation of cracks and destruction of masonry structures they are reinforced with meshes at the stage of construction. Compatibility of the reinforcing material and the main body of the structure is an important parameter for the efficient operation of the structure. The article examines the amount of adhesion of fiberglass and steel mesh elements with sand concrete, which is the binding of bricks. Materials and methods. Reinforced beams are tested for bending. Samples of beams consist of two halves connected by a rod in a stretched zone and uncoupled by a hinge in a compressed zone. Elements of steel and fiberglass grids with limited anchorage zones in concrete act as reinforcement. The values of rod slippage in concrete were fixed by a dial gauge. Results. According to the results of the test, the slipping forces of the rods were obtained and the cohesive stresses of the elements of steel and fiberglass grids with concrete were calculated, and diagrams were drawn. The value of adhesion with concrete fiberglass rods was greater compared with the adhesion of steel rods for all values of slip. Conclusions. Fiberglass meshes have a number of drawbacks to steel meshes, however, a large number of positive characteristics of fiberglass meshes, including adhesion with concrete, make them competitive with steel, and in many cases more preferable for use in structures. Keywords: coupling reinforcement with concrete, adhesion, brickwork, reinforcement of structures, masonry mesh, composite materials, steel mesh, composite mesh, innovation in construction/

Fibre reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) systems are mostly externally bonded (EB) for the strengthening of reinforced concrete (RC) and masonry structures. In this paper, the relatively new concept of near-surface embedded (NSE) FRCM, has been introduced for the flexural strengthening of beams. The process of the application of NSE-FRCM strengthening technique involves the removal of the concrete layer at beam soffit, being the most deteriorated in actual practices. Experimental evidence of the flexural strengthening efficacy of this technique is provided here. Eight RC beams were prepared and tested under four-point loading with the consideration of two test parameters: (a) FRCM material (polyparaphenylene benzobisoxazole (PBO)/carbon/ glass); and (b) the reinforcement ratio (0.5% representing flexure-deficient beams and 1.28% representing typical under-reinforced beams). The strengthening led to gains in ultimate loads that ranged between 31.4% and 84.3%.

Three types of reinforcing material that are used in herniorrhaphy were tested by biaxial straining to obtain their load-extension properties. Steel mesh was by far the stiffest material, followed by porcine skin, then Mersilene mesh, when tested by suturing around their periphery. The Mersilene mesh and porcine skin failed around the holes made by the suture, whilst the sutures failed when used with the steel mesh.

Loading of masonry with concentrated load is a sufficiently common case of loading which occurs due to structures of various purposes and sizes which lean against masonry wall, column or partition wall. Reinforced concrete or metal beams, reinforced beams, wooden structures of roof or span are leaned against masonry structures most usually. Investigations show that masonry structures under concentrated load withstand higher loads than structures of which the whole surface area is compressed. In most cases traditional bricks’ masonry under concentrated load was investigated. Its head joints are filled with mortar. This paper describes the experimental and numerical modeling results of investigation of calcium silicate hollow blocks masonry with thin layered mortar and unfilled head joints compressed by concentrated load. The more dangerous case when the edge of masonry unit (wall) is affected by concentrated load was chosen for analysis. Preliminary investigations have shown that the bed joints transmiss horizontal stresses. The stress distribution angle is close to 60°, i.e. close to stress distribution in masonry with filled head joints.

Sperm of decapod crustaceans are formed by a round or cup-shaped body, a complex acrosome and one a few appendages emerging from the main body. Although this sperm does not have motility, it has some components of the cytoskeleton like microtubules, which are found inside the appendages. Actin filaments have been found in the spike of penaeidae sperms. The actual participation of the crustacean decapod sperm cytoskeleton during fertilization is not well understood. Actin is supposed to play an active role in drawing the penaeidae shrimp sperm closer to the egg after bending of the spike. The present study was aimed at the localization of actin filaments in sperm of the Robinson Crusoe island lobster, Jasus frontalis and in the crayfish Orconectes propincus, by fluorescent probes and low voltage scanning electron microscopy.

Subject. The article updates the scientific view of the environmental protection greening and the special land use regime as a special city planning means of passive sanitary protection of people from the adverse aerial and technological impact and the recovery of the environment we live in. Objectives. I identify the specifics of designing and efficient operation of environmental protection greening as an inseparable part of the urban ecosystem. The article justifies the technique for strategic positioning of respective infrastructure projects in order to ensure the protective effect. Methods. The study relies upon general methods of analysis, systematization of existing viewpoints and published findings, graphic and logic analysis, matrix-based tools to choose an administrative strategy. Results. I analyzed the air-holding capacity of economic activity in regions and the outcome of air quality monitoring as a risk factor for public health. The article pinpoints operational difficulties in the environmental protection greening facilities and strategic approaches to addressing the issues in order to improve the environmental security of industrial zones. I determine new aspects of public relations and groups of criteria to assess the effectiveness of green infrastructure projects. The article provides the rationale for fiscal incentives for investors and public-private partnership of stakeholders. Conclusions and Relevance. Considering national projects, such as Ecology, Demography, Convenient Urban Environment, I emphasize the relevance of recovering and rehabilitating obsolete environmental protection greening facilities situated in industrial zones of industrially developed cities. Green projects should indeed comply with a set of progressive results of fundamental studies carried in various scientific areas. There should be fiscal incentives in terms of taxes and depreciation on special assets as the basis for the private-municipal partnership in green assets management in order to enhance the environmental security of industrial zones.

Working capital management refers to a company's managerial accounting strategy designed to monitor and utilize the two components of working capital, current assets and current liabilities, to ensure the most financially efficient operation of the company. The goal of working capital management is to manage the firm’s current asset and current liabilities in such a way that satisfactory level of working capital is maintained. A study on comparison in working capital management with State Bank of India and Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India is analyzed to know the liquidity and current ratio. The interaction between current asset and current liabilities is therefore is the main theme of the theory of working capital management.
