Digital natives are children who have had a significant exposure to technology, which has molded the way they interact with digital tools. Early exposure to technology like the Internet, computers, and mobile devices fundamentally changes the way digital natives learn and operate. They are highly literate with ICT (information and communication technology) and they gather information through their gadgets. This paper provides a short introduction to digital natives.

This paper describes the use of a Linux embedded system for use in digital information and communication technology in order to generate image warnings using Internet of Things (IoT) prin- ciples. The proposed project generated a product, developed using concepts of project-based learning (ABP), called SECI (electronic internal communication system) that is accessed by students to view online warnings by distributed monitors and also by mobile devices connected to the Internet.

In today’s modern world, globalization has completely changed the way of working. The way we live, learn, work, and even define work has changed due to new information and communication technologies—Hence, it can stated that human capital fuel up the modern economy. In reality, the information and communication technology revolution has turned intelligence into a valuable commodity. In today's economy, economic growth is based on mental intelligence rather than physical strength, and its worth is generated by recruiting knowledgeable workers and continuing to learn. The rapid development of information and communication technology is currently having an impact on changes in various fields, one of which is changes in people's lifestyles, including consumption in society. The development of information and communication technology has resulted in easier access for people in the world to access the internet and use it to buying and selling transactions online via the internet. The report Global Web Index notes that Indonesia has a high level of users e-commerce highest in the world and as many as 96% of internet users looking for a product or service to make purchases online. This has resulted in the development of e-commerce in Indonesia and throughout the world which is increasing as a consequence of which the competition is getting harder service providers are e-commerce required to provide the best service in order to increase customer satisfaction and trust so that customers will be loyal to using these services. This can be achieved by paying attention to customer value and corrective actions in an effort to restore service to customers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of customer perceived value and e-service recovery on e-loyalty with e-satisfaction and e-trust as intervening variables. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to ecommerce Shopee Indonesia customers in Medan City with a total sample of 328 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling. Data analysis was carried out through SEM-PLS using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that customer perceived value has a significant effect on e-satisfaction and also e-loyalty. However, customer perceived value has no significant effect on e-trust. The variable e-service recovery directly has a significant effect on e-satisfaction, e-trust, and e-loyalty. E-satisfaction and e-trust cannot mediate the relationship between customer perceived value and e-loyalty, but they are able to mediate the relationship between e-service recovery and e-loyalty. Abstract   Overpopulation in an area will affect labor market conditions, which is characterized by an increase in the number of unemployed in highly populated areas. Entrepreneurship is one solution that can help the economic condition. The entrepreneur can solve excess labor or help reduce unemployment. The high number of women in West Sumatra each year is a huge potential, especially in entrepreneurship. Success in entrepreneurship is the goal of every woman in entrepreneurship. This research aims to see how the factors of marital status, experience, and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) such as the use of the telephone and the internet influence women's success in entrepreneurship. This study uses primary data “raw data” Susenas 2019. The results show that marital status, telephone use and internet use and experience influence women's success in entrepreneurship in West Sumatra.   Abstrak   Overpopulasi di suatu daerah akan mempengaruhi kondisi pasar kerja yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran di daerah berpenduduk tinggi. Kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat membantu kondisi perekonomian tersebut. Wirausaha dapat menyelesaikan kelebihan tenaga kerja atau membantu mengurangi jumlah pengangguran. Tingginya jumlah penduduk wanita di Sumatera Barat setiap tahun merupakan potensi yang sangat besar, khususnya dalam berwirausaha. Sukses berwirausaha merupakan tujuan setiap wanita dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana faktor status perkawinan, pengalaman, dan penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) seperti penggunaan telepon, dan internet dalam mempengaruhi keberhasilan wanita dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu “raw data” Susenas tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status perkawinan, penggunaan telepon dan penggunaan internet serta pengalaman berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan wanita dalam berwirausaha di Sumatera Barat.

Abstract Regarding the situation related to Covid-19, the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia in the spring of 2020 wanted to change the way of participation in the sessions of the National Assembly and its working bodies by means of information and communication technology. The main purpose and gole was that even in the case of physical absence of some of MPs, the National Assembly could still perform its constitutionally determined role. With a view of remote participation (debate and voting), the rules of procedure had to be amended first. The article deals with legal dilemmas when changing the rules of procedure and with subsequent technical realisation.

Though many countries are still just beginning to grasp the potential uses and impacts of Electronic-government (EG), advances in technologies and their applications continue. Observing the proliferation of EG, countries are increasingly turning to the Internet to market their EG system to gain a competitive advantage. However, the effectiveness and efficiency of such online government systems largely depends on the mission of implementing EG. For successful adoption and implementation of EG, it is essential that a country first identify an explicit objective and a specific strategy. We have examined implemention strategies of EG of seven diverse countries whose objectives and mission for implementing EG differ significantly. However, they have the following strategies in common: i) extensive application of information and communication technology (ICT) in the public sector; ii) overall reformation of the public sector; iii) development of a better quality service structure; and iv) more cohesive integration of citizens with government.

Since the Internet and other IT technologies have become more popular than ever before, the amount of time people spend with computers and IT products, such as Internet and online games, has increased tremendously. The continuing boom of information and communication technology is causing the Internet to become a part of everyone’s life. People use the Internet not only as a tool for their jobs, but also to participate in virtual communities. Even if the rate of Internet uptake slows considerably (Weisenbacher, 2002), the trend still remains growing. There were 275.5 million people using the Internet in February 2000. That number had changed to 605.60 million in September 2002 (Nua Ltd., 2002). According to Horrigan’s study (2001), 84 percent of Internet users in America have participated in a virtual community. Moreover, apart from the number of people using Internet, the average time spent doing any activity online is increasing.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is today seen as a catalyst for change in the way work is carried out. Over the past decade there have been a number of studies examining both the decision-making behind ICT adoption (the driving forces for adoption) as well as the perceived benefits from that adoption. However, no studies have attempted to determine, or indeed map whether emphasis given to specific driving forces have manifested in differing perceptions of perceived benefits. The purpose of this chapter is to examine whether emphasis on particular driving forces for ICT adoption are associated with the perception of particular benefits. A study was undertaken amongst 198 Australian GPs. Results suggest that greater emphasis on improving communications gives rise to higher perceived benefits both in terms of communications and practice effectiveness, while emphasis on other drivers does not significantly alter the perception of benefits derived from adoption.

Wearables may have notable potential as an assistive technology for persons with various difficulties. Although quite popular, smartwatches' niches are still revealing. One of them is definitely in the domain of assistive technology due to their communication and location features. Positioning features enable parents or caregivers to know the whereabouts of child or persons with disabilities, thus increasing their safety. The paper presents smartwatch tracking system for people with complex communication needs with emphasis on detection of smartwatch wearer's common movement routes. The application is a result of multidisciplinary research performed in the area of information and communication technology, as an assistive technology aiming to explore the technological possibilities of connecting new generations of mobile devices and their technological supplements, or wearables, in order to establish a different communication and location aids.

Information and communication technology (ICT) is constantly changing the world around us. This not only affects the way that we conduct our personal lives but also our business lives. It is changing the very make up of society (Neff, 2000). For organizations, it seems that there is a requirement for success that they ride along with the new technological wave or risk getting left behind. As a result, some organizations are implementing telework programs to take advantage of new technologies (Kaye et al., 2000).
