This study aims to determine the effect of education level, occupation, employment sector, wages, age, gender, marital status, area of residence of the underemployment in West Sumatra Province. This type of research is descriptive, where this study uses secondary data in the form of a cross-section with the 2015 national labor force survey data and uses the Logistic Regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the level of education has a negative and insignificant effect on voluntary underemployment in West Sumatra, the field of work has a negative and not significant effect on voluntary underemployment in West Sumatra, the employment sector has a positive and insignificant effect on voluntary unemployment in West Sumatra Wages have a positive and significant effect on voluntary underemployment in West Sumatra, age has a positive and significant effect on voluntary underemployment in West Sumatra, gender has a negative and significant effect on voluntary underemployment in West Sumatra, marital status has a positive and insignificant effect on underemployment voluntarily in West Sumatra, the area of residence has a negative and insignificant effect on voluntary unemployment in West Sumatra. Keywords: underemployment, economic factor, demographic, dan logistic  regression

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, educational level, and the number of people on the unemployment rate on regency / city of West Sumatra during 2011- 2013. Data used in this research is secondary data, in the form of time series (2011-2013) and cross section (19 districts / cities) of West Sumatra province. The results showed: economic growth  has a negative impact and no significant effect on the unemployment rate , Level of education has a positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate ,Total population  has a positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate and Together economic growth (X1), education level (X2), and population (X3) has a significant impact on the unemployment rate (Y) in the district / city of West Sumatra province..Keyword : unemployment rate, economic growth, education level, popolation

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of dependent variable of family dependent, education level, age, marital status, and distance partially to workforce’s decision to migrate from Surakarta to Karanganyar Regency. This research used binary logistic regression analysis method. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. The result of binary logistic regression model analysis in this research shows that from five independent variables, there are two variables that have significant effect on workforce’s decision to do the commuter migration that is dependent variable of family and marital status. While the variable level of education, age, and distance have no effect on workforce’s decisions to do the commuter migration. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel dependen dependen keluarga, tingkat pendidikan, usia, status perkawinan, dan jarak secara parsial terhadap keputusan tenaga kerja untuk bermigrasi dari Surakarta ke Kabupaten Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi logistik biner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Hasil analisis model regresi logistik biner dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari lima variabel independen, ada dua variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan angkatan kerja untuk melakukan migrasi komuter yang merupakan variabel dependen keluarga dan status perkawinan. Sedangkan tingkat variabel pendidikan, usia, dan jarak tidak berpengaruh pada keputusan tenaga kerja untuk melakukan migrasi komuter.

The research aims to determine the effect of  gender, marital status, level of education, economic growth, agricultural sector, trade sector, and services to the dependent variable of youth unemployment in West Sumatra. The type of this research is descriptive research, where the data used is secondary data in the form of cross-section data with national workforce survey data 2015. By using logistic regression analysis method, the results of this study indicate that Gender has positive and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, Marital status has a negative and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, Level of education has positive and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, Economic growth hasnegative and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, Agricultural sector has a negative and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, Trading sector has a negative and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatra, and Service sector has a negative and significant effect on youth unemployment in West Sumatera.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze: (1) The effect of the level of education on the work participation of elderly women in West Sumatra. (2) Effect of marital status on work participation of elderly women in West Sumatra. (3) Effect of health conditions on the work participation of elderly women in West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive and associative research. The data used is the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) in 2018. The method uses Logistic Regression Analysis. The results of the study are: (1) the level of education has a significant negative effect on the work participation of elderly women in West Sumatra. (2) Marital status has a significant negative effect on the work participation of elderly women in West Sumatra. The purpose of this studywas to determine the efect of income, gender, type of work, number of dependents, level of education to visit commercial tourist attractions in West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive, where this study uses secondary data in the form of national socioeconomic survey data in 2017 and uses logistic regression methods. The results of this study indicate that income, type of work, number of dependents, level of education have a positive and significant effect on opportunities for tourist visits in West Sumatra, while gender, has a negative and significant effect on opportunities for tourist visits in West Sumatra.Keywords: tourist visits, income, gender type, type of work, number of dependents, education level.

This study aims to find out effect of  wage level, education level, age, gender, and marital status on the opportunities of West Sumatera worker to migrate commuter. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The type of data is secondary. This study uses the National Labor Force Survey data in 2017 and using logistic regression analysis with the number of respondents as many as 6.560 people. The result of this study indicate that : (1) Wage rates have a positive and significant effect on the opportunities of West Sumatra workers to migrate commuter, (2) Educational level has a positive and significant effect on the opportunities of West Sumatra workers to migrate commuter, (3) Age positive and not significant effect on the opportunities of West Sumatra workers to migrate commuter, (4) Gender has a positive and significant effect on the opportunities of West Sumatra workers to migrate commuter, (5) Marital status has a positive and not significant effect on employment opportunities West Sumatra to migrate commuter. (6) employment sector has a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities west Sumatra to migrate commuter.

This study aims to determine the effect of age, marital status, level of education, area of residence, number of dependents, family expenses, and head of household status on the probability variable of women choose to be a working women in West Sumatra Province. This is descriptive and associative research, where the data used is secondary data in the form of cross-section data. The data was from national socioeconomic survey in 2016. By using logistic regression, the results of this study show that the variables of age, marital status, level of education, and number of dependents have a positive and significant effect on probability of women working in West Sumatra, while the variable area of residence has a negative and significant influence on probability of women working in West Sumatra province.

This study aims to determine the effect of education, income per capita, age and knowledge on waste management in urban areas West Sumatera. This study uses secondary data in the form of cross section data of urban West Sumatera. Data obtained from BPS- Susenas West Sumatera. This study uses logistic regression analysis. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of gamification, e-service quality and e-trust variables on online purchase decision through online purchase intention at the Shopee marketplace in Medan City. This type of research is using a quantitative approach. The nature of this research is associative research and the data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through documentation and a list of questions that measure it using a Likert scale. The sample in this study is the community in Medan City at least 17 years old, has a Shopee marketplace application and is a consumer who has purchased and used the Shopee marketplace at least 1 time as many as 175 respondents. Researchers collected data by distributing questionnaires to all respondents in this study. The data analysis method used descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis. Statistical results show that the majority of respondents agree with all the statements shared. The results of the research on the first substructure show that gamification has a positive and significant effect on online purchase intention with a significance of 0.000, e-service quality has a positive and insignificant effect on online purchase intention with a significance of 0.836 and e-trust has a positive and significant effect on online purchase intention with a significance of 0.000. The results of the research on the second substructure show that gamification has a positive and significant effect on online purchase decision with a significance of 0.031, e-service quality has a negative and insignificant effect on online purchase decision with a significance of 0.721, e-trust has a positive and significant effect on online purchase decision with a significance of 0.002 and online purchase intention has a positive and significant effect on online purchase decision with a significance of 0.000. The path analysis test using the sobel test shows that online purchase intention is able to mediate between gamification and e-trust with online purchase decision, but online purchase intention are not able to mediate e-service quality with online purchase decision. Fenomena migrasi sangat mewarnai di beberapa negara berkembang, termasuk di berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Di Indonesia terutama banyak tenaga kerja yang berasal dari daerah pedesaan mengalir ke daerah perkotaan, Salah satunya dari Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan migrasi commuter di Kecamatan Karangtengah Kabupaten Demak antara lain adalah pendapatan pendidikan, pekerjaan daerah asal, jumlah tanggungan serta status perkawinan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui instrumen kuesioner terhadap sampel yaitu sebanyak 89 responden, dan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu data dari instansi-instansi terkait serta literatur buku. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Karangtengah Kabupaten Demak. Analisi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah binary logistic regression. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan migrasi commuter, pendidikan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan migrasi commuter, pekerjaan di daerah asal berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan migrasi commuter, jumlah tanggungan daerah asal berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan migrasi commuter, status perkawinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan migrasi commuter. The phenomenon of migration is very coloring in some developing countries , including in the various regions in Indonesia . In Indonesia especially many workers coming from rural regions flowed into the urban area, One of Demak District. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the decision of commuter migration in Sub Karangtengah Demak district include the earnings of education, employment areas of origin, number of dependents and marital status. In this research, using primary data through a questionnaire on the sample of 89 respondents, and using secondary data is data from relevant agencies and literature books. This research was conducted at Sub Karangtengah, Demak District. The analysis used in this study is a binary logistic regression. The results showed that the income a significant negative effect on the migration decision commuter, education has positive and not significant to the migration decision commuter, work in the area of origin has positive and not significant to the migration decision commuter, number of dependents homelands negative and not significant to decision commuter migration, marital status and significant positive effect on the decision commuter migration.
