Covid-19 taught us the importance of personalized ICT use in the higher education context. In this scenario, the importance of researching student's ICT behaviour is becoming ever more crucial. This study investigates the influence of student alienation (SAL), socio-economic status, residential background, type of course, and gender on students' ICT use behaviour. 704 Kashmiri university students responded to an offline survey comprising two scales: Students ICT use scale and student alienation scale. The results showed that SAL has a negative relationship with student’s ICT use for education and capital enhancement. Students differed in their ICT behaviour based on gender, type of course, and residential background. Socio-economic status was positively correlated with ICT use for education and entertainment. These findings highlight the nuances of ICT use behaviour among young university students. The implications and future research directions have been discussed.

The present study is part of an exploratory research study conducted to understand the Learning experiences of adult learners in Higher Education Institutes in India. The primary aim of the present study was to examine the motivational orientations of adult learners for lifelong educational courses and hence, the Educational Participation Scale (EPS) by Boshier was used to examine the motivational orientations among adult learners enrolled in selected lifelong courses. In total, seven motivational factors were identified among the adult learners to enrol in the Programmes: Communication skills and Social contact, Professional advancement, Intellectual recreation, Cognitive interest, Family Togetherness, Children Relationship and Educational Compensation. Age, gender, type of course and educational background had varying influences on the motivational orientation of the adult learners. Though professional advancement was found to be higher, Communication skills, social contact and family togetherness was found to be significantly higher among older research participants aged 50 years and above.

An attempt was made in the present investigation is Aim: Achievement motivation among adolescents. Objectives: To study the inuence of gender, type of management and locality on achievement motivation among adolescents. Sample: The sample of the present investigation was selected 200 adolescent's students in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh State of India. The subjects were in the age group from 15 to 18 years and using systematic random sampling technique. Tool: The Pratibha Deo and Asha Mohan (2011) accomplishment motivation scale was used as a tool. Research Design: As there are three independent variables i.e., gender (male & female), type of management (government & private) and locality (rural & urban), each is divided in to two categories, a 2×2×2 factorial design was employed in the present study. Statistical Analysis: Means, SDs and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used. Results: Results revealed signicant impact of gender, type of management and locality with regard to achievement motivation among adolescents. Conclusions: Males have high achievement motivation than females; there is no signicant inuence of type of management on achievement motivation and students of urban areas have high achievement motivation than students of rural areas.

Background and aims: Oral mucosa is prone to various lesions. Some of these lesions can be early signs of a particular disease or even malignancy in the body. The aim of this study was to investigate the frequency distribution of oral biopsies from 2009 to 2019. Methods: In this analytical descriptive cross-sectional study, 621 records of the oral cavity biopsies performed in the pathology department of Shahid Sadoughi hospital were analyzed. Age, gender, type of lesion, site of lesion, histopathological diagnosis, year of referral, and medical specialist who performed the biopsy were included in the study checklist. The data were analyzed using chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis test in SPSS version 25.0. Results: Of 621 biopsies, 308 specimens belonged to men (49.6%) and 313 specimens belonged to women (50.4%). The mean age of patients was 46.58±21.08 years, ranging from 6 months to 95 years. The most affected areas were the tongue (33%), lower lip (29.1%) and cheeks (17.7%). squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (27.9%), inflammatory lesions (26.1%), mucocele (14.8%), and ulcers (8.5%) were the most frequent lesions. There was a significant difference in the age of individuals with different lesions (P<0.001). Conclusion: The most frequent lesion diagnosed in biopsies was SCC. The most frequently affected sites were tongue and cheek. Lesions were more frequent in women and were most frequently seen in the fourth, fifth, and sixth decades of life.

In this article, we examine trends in women’s mobility among male-dominated, gender-neutral, and female-dominated occupations. Earlier research, largely employing data from the 1970s and early 1980s, showed that along with significant net movement by women into male-dominated fields, there was also substantial attrition from male-dominated occupations. Here, we build on previous research by examining how “gender-type” mobility rates have changed in recent decades. The findings indicate that while still quite high, levels of women’s occupational mobility among female, gender-neutral, and male occupations have decreased considerably over time. We suggest that this is the result of increasing differentiation among women. In particular, many women, especially those in high-status occupations, plan to pursue employment in a male-dominated field, succeed in gaining entry, and tend to remain in these fields more often than their counterparts in previous decades. We interpret these findings as evidence that gender segregation is maintained by an enduring but imperfect system of social control that constrains women’s choices before, during, and after entry into the labor market. The evidence presented here underscores the importance of studying gender-type mobility as a distinct dimension of labor market inequality.

Purpose. The Nordic hamstring exercise (NHE) has been shown to be successful in reducing hamstring muscle injury (HMI), which is one of the most common non-contact injuries of the lower limbs. This is especially pertinent in sports that require acceleration, maximal sprints, and sudden changes in the direction of running and sprinting, such as soccer and rugby. This study aimed to evaluate the awareness, implementation, and opinions of athletes worldwide regarding the effectiveness of NHE in preventing hamstring injury. Materials and methods. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 1500 athletes from different sports. The survey consisted of six questions covering country, gender, type of sport, awareness, implementation, and opinions of athletes worldwide regarding the effectiveness of NHE in preventing hamstring injury. The survey was available in ten different languages. Results. A total of 1142 male and female athletes from different sports participated in the survey. More than half of the athletes 641 (56%) were aware of NHE, and only 519 (45.4 %) were implementing NHE in their current training routines. Athletes who implemented NHE reported a positive opinion regarding the program’s effectiveness with a score of 8.4 ± 1 out of 10. Conclusions. Many athletes were aware of NHE and implemented it in their training routine since they found it to be effective in decreasing hamstring injury rates. However, additional work must be done to educate athletes about the importance of implementing this exercise and its effectiveness in preventing hamstring injury.

Statistical Analysis: Means, SDs and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used. Results: Results revealed signicant impact of gender, type of management and locality with regard to Emotional Intelligence. Conclusions: Females have high Emotional Intelligence than males; private college students have high Emotional Intelligence than government colleges and students of urban areas have high Emotional Intelligence than students of rural areas.

This study aims to analyse hotels employers’ perceptions in hiring decisions on people with disability (PWD). A total of 35 samples out of 72 employers among the 4 and 5-star hotels in Kuala Lumpur were selected based on the census sampling method. It is found that employer perceptions to hire PWDs are influenced by gender, type of disability, work performance concerns, and co-worker and guest concerns. Interestingly, employers are discovered to have more positive perceptions towards female PWDs. They are also interested to hire PWDs who meet the requirements of the job regardless of their disability. This study was conducted to find out answers to sub-questions of the aim to ineasure a coordination abilities and management processes of faculty administrators at private Near East University. To this aim, a questionnaire was distributed to 120 teachers in total who were randomly selected within nine existing faculties at Near East University in 2010-1012 · academic years. The questionnaire was. a 5-point Likert scale type consisting of 59 items and having eight measurement types was prepared to identify teachers' gender, age, marital status, education status, based on criteria of seniority, management course and participation course seminars. The questionnaire was administered to 120 teachers in nine faculties. However, 13 questionnaires did not return. Perceptions of 107 teachers were included in the research in total. Obtained data was coded into data tables and analyzed by using SPSS 17 program, T- test, ANOV A, and LSD test was applied for Multiple Comparison Statistical Analysis Results. Findings were discussed by presenting them in tables. According to the analysis of the thesis, important differences were found the perceptions of teachers related to management processes of management profession and acceptance of the level of this profession in terms of gender, type of school, age, carrier seniority, area of position, and perceptions of academicians related to school type, age, carrier seniority and area of position in terms of physical structure oft.he school arid organizational environment of teaching and learning.
