Linear air track is often used in physics learning for linear motion experiments because it can reduce friction between objects with trajectories. However,  the use of air tracks for motion experiments in schools often does not care about aspects of air drag, so the purpose of this study is to calculate the air friction contained in the air track and as an offer of enrichment experiments at senior high school. The research method used is an experimental method that uses a set of air track experimental devices consisting of trajectors, carts, blower, and time counters with light sensors. Cart objects with a mass of 120.02 gram is given the initial velocity variation 12.272 cm/s, 16.286 cm/s and 24.599 cm/s. Then the time recorded when the cart crosses the distance of 10 cm to 110 cm at intervals of 10 cm. This experiment is conducted in the Integrated Science Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang. The second Newton law has been derived to obtain a special exponential function, so the relation between distance and time is obtained. The non-linear relation between distance and time shows the effect of air drag. Then, fitting the graph of the distance and time relation so that the air drag constants obtained are (10.6 ± 0.1) gram/s, (10.6 ± 0.2) gram/s, and (11.1 ± 0.2) gram/s. The results of the air drag constants obtained can be additional data as a factor affecting experiments using linear air track and can be enrichment experiments at senior high school laboratory.

Abstract Physics demonstration learning has been carried out with the theme "Physics Experiments You Can Do at Home During the Covid-19 Pandemic". This activity was carried out by making a simple physics experiment video entitled The Chladni Plate Concept which was then broadcasted online via a zoom platform to students of SMA Negeri 40. The theme carried was in accordance with the learning curriculum for Senior High School (SMA) students. This activity was carried out as an effort to respond to the Covid- 19 pandemic situation which requires students to carry out learning activities at home online, so it is hoped that this activity can increase understanding and stimulate student enthusiasm during the Distance Learning (PJJ) period. As confirmation that the activity gained enthusiasm and was able to achieve these goals, a research instrument was made consisting of several parameters which the instrument was distributed to the teacher and all participants. 96% confirmed that the material presented was very useful during a pandemic. This indicates that the physics demonstration presented in the form of a video can be an alternative for students of SMA Negeri 40 Jakarta in learning physics, especially in discussing physics experiments regarding the Chladni Plate Concept. The research aims to reveal the factual design and conceptual design of the preparation of career guidance programs at Pontianak 3 State Senior High School. Sixty twelve grade science students and two guidance and counseling teachers were also the subjects of the survey. Quantitative data were obtained using questionnaires as main data and interviews as additional data. The results of data processing show that most of the assessment needs have been carried out in a high category. However, the response of the guidance and counseling (BK) teacher stated that there were still weaknesses in the factual model of the preparation of the BK program in the field of career guidance including the principal, homeroom teacher and subject teacher had not been involved in the preparation of the BK program. So this finding is the basis for the preparation of the conceptual design of career guidance programs, that the involvement of principals, homerooms and subject teachers has been apparent in the process of developing a career guidance program.

The study investigated senior high school Integrated Science teachers’ perception of classroom assessment practises. The study employed a descriptive survey research designed to collect data from 20 Integrated Science teachers in a Municipality and a District in the Bono Region of Ghana. A questionnaire was used to collect quantitative data on teachers’ perception of classroom assessment in Science. The data collected were computed into means, standard deviations and percentages. The study revealed that Integrated Science teachers selected for the study have positive perceptions towards classroom assessment. It also revealed that teachers perceived classroom assessment as tests that teachers give to their students at specific time intervals. While the teachers perceived classroom assessment as tests positively, they showed limited ability to use different methods and tools to assess their students’ for teaching. The most frequent methods the teachers used to assess their students’ learning were summative, formative and portfolio assessment. The study recommended that the support of stake-holders be sought to foster alternative assessment approaches in Senior High Schools in the study area. In addition, to help Integrated Science teachers develop positive perceptions towards classroom assessment in Science, it is recommended that in-service programmes should be organised for the teachers in the study area periodically.
