Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang adanya feedback dari dosen yang mengakibatkan mahasiswa kebingungan karena penguasaan materi semakin sulit. Hal ini berdampak pada kurangnya prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pelaksanaan strategi feedback untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Prestasi belajar mahasiswa dilihat dari nilai evaluasi mahasiswa didukung dengan nilai dan tugas post test. Media yang digunakan adalah modul pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (class room action research) dengan kegiatan yang telah diskemakan. Subjek adalah mahasiswa semester I pada mata kuliah matematika materi kombinatorial tahun kuliah 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari 38 mahasiswa. Instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar observasi, lembar angket/kuesioner, jurnal harian, lembar wawancara dan lembar tes yaitu post test dan evaluasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. DAta yang digunakan untuk analisis adalah hasil dari test mahasiswa, lembar observasi, lembar angket. Dari hasil perhitungan prosentase diperoleh nilai Post test siklus I sebesar 38,89% dan siklus II sebesar 79,41%. Hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menuinjukkan siklus I sebesar 65,875% dan siklus II sebesar 75,5% artinya pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui strategi feedback berjalan dengan baik. Hal tersebut ditunjukka oleh rata-rata siginifikan mengalami peningkatan. Kata Kunci: Strategi Feedback, prestasi belajar.

<p>The research was done in August 2012 in SMPN 1 Geger Madiun. The subject of the study was the eight year students consisting of 20 students. It was a classroom action research. The researcher conducted the research in some steps for each cycle. There were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. In collecting data, there were two kinds of data which were used in this study, the quantitative data and the qualitative data. The quantitative data were in the forms of students‟ scores. The data were students‟ scores from the beginning of the research to the end of the research. They came from the tests given. The qualitative data were collected by the following techniques: observations, interviews, and document analysis. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. It compares the score of the pretest to the score of the post test. The qualitative data were analyzed into data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/ verification.</p><p>The research findings showed that by implementing the “Most Names” in the speaking class, there were some improvements which can be classified into three main points as follow: The improvement of students‟ speaking skill; The improvement of students‟ participation; The improvement of students‟ interest; And the improvement of students‟ motivation. For that reason, “Most Names” was able to stimulate students to speak English.</p><p>In conclusion, “Most Names” is able to improve students‟ speaking skill in class VIII/A.  However, “Most  Names” has  its  own  strength  and  weaknesses.  Most  Names stimulated students to be more active, interactive, and creative to speak English.</p>In short, it is recommended to the teachers to use “Most Names” to improve the students‟ speaking skill in English.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar mahasiswa PJKR angkatan 2010 Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 dalam matakuliah Penjas Adaptif dengan menerapkan pembelajaran student center learning dengan mengunakan model role play and simulation. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode clasroom action research Dengan populasi mahasiswa kelas J berjumlah 31 orang. Setelah menerapkan pembelajaran Student Center Learning dengan model role play and simulation diperoleh data dari hasil evaluasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa awalnya  dinyatakan belum mencapai KKM karena 12 mahasiswa hanya mencapai nilai di bawah 70. Sedangkan data hasil setelah menggunakan pembelajaran student center learning dengan menggunakan model role play and simulation menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada hasil post test, dengan hasil 31 mahasiswa semuanya mencapai 100% di atas nilai KKM. Kata kunci: Penjas Adaptif, Pembelajaran SCL, Model Role Play & Simulation.

This study attempts to improve students’ writing achievement in recount text through Think-Pair-Share Strategy. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VIII-1 SMPN 1 Pematangsiantar. The number of the students was 32 students, consisted of 5 males and twenty seven females. The research was conducted in two cycles and consisted of six meetings. The instruments for collecting data were writing tests as the quantitative data and diary notes, observation sheet, interview sheet and questionnaire sheet as qualitative data. Based on the writing score, students’ scores kept improving in every test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the first test as a pre-test was 57.84, for the second test as a post test I was 73.56, for the third test as a post test II was 77.56. Based on diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, it was found that students were actively involved in writing process. The result of the research showed that Think-Pair-Share Strategy can improve students’ achievement in writing recount text.   Keywords: Think Pair Share, Writing, Recount text, Action research

Writing is a form of an art and integral part of language learning. The present study concerns with development of writing skills through peer and teacher correction technique. As an action research in nature, the research aimed to test the progress of the students while writing an essay. After the analysis of data collected through test items, it was seen improvement in students writing in post test than in pre-test. The students (Ss1-Ss10) were found using the words in an increased order and grammatically correct sentences in their writing in each test made and committed less grammatical errors in post test than in pre and progress test. Regarding mechanics of writing, their writing was found systematic in case of punctuation, proper use of paragraphs, in coherence and cohesion in writing. The peer correction and teacher correction technique was found productive in teaching writing through action research as a whole. In Teaching-learning process on class, teacher playing vital role for reaching planned education purpose. But that not an easy case, because there are many problems occur in class. Those problems have to be eliminated, and the way to do that is by using class room research. Class room action research is designed to solved a teaching-learning process on class. Class room action research purposed repairing learning process simultaniusly. Class room action research conducted simultaniously to repairing teaching-learning process naturally without disturbing teaching learning process it self. Class room action research conducted based on cycle. Each cycle play vital role fo the next cycle. By conducting training activity for education sports teachers for making and designing a classroom research, they will solve the problems occur in teaching-learning process. By developing education sports teacher ability in class room research will lead the educational purposed to optimal result. Training designed by using classical models, including: discussing, interview, guiding, and assinment. At the end of the training process, every education sports teaching producing one class room action research proposal and making one research based on their own class problem.

This study investigates the EFL classrooms to identify the role of interaction in reading comprehension classes. Student-student interaction through the form of pair-work was introduced while the pre-test and post-test measured its effect. Adequate classes were observed to identify the level of the control group students. This study tried to find out the role of interaction in facilitating students’ reading comprehension. It had found that when the students got the opportunity to interact through pair-work, they became their source of input. And it was evident that after the introduction of interaction, their comprehension ability enhanced as they correctly answered more questions in the post-test than in the pre-test. Based on the results, the study also recommends the introduction of interaction to enhance students’ skill in listening, speaking, and writing.

The research is aimed to the use of think inside the box strategy be able to improve students vocabulary mastery. The subject of this study was 20 students at second grade students of SMPN 4 Praya Barat Daya. In which consist of 8 males and 12 females. It was classroom action research with two cycles, each cycles of four steps: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data gathering used written test, and questionnaires and analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative approach. At the result of the first cycle was failed where the mean score of pre test was 62.35 and class percentage was 30% and he mean score of post test was 70.25 and class percentage was 65% and the result of the second cycle that the mean score was 80,2 and the class percentage was 80% indicating the target of 75 of the minimum criterion has been achieved, it means that the action was stopped.

Present study is aimed to assess the effectiveness of diagnosis-based remediation programme in improving the proportionate of students mastering each competency (percentage of competency mastered) by the group of V standard students in the selected (experimental) schools of Shimoga District. A total of 100 students of 4 government primary schools from Shimoga district constituted the sample for the study, of which 50 were boys and remaining 50 were girls. They were selected from both urban and rural areas of Shimoga district. This is an experimental study with pre and post test design. Among the selected100 non-mastered students, 50 were non masters and they formed control group and remaining 50 constituted the experimental group. After 2 months of intervention for the experimental group, the investigator conducted post test for both controlled and experimental groups. The controlled group students were attending regular classes whereas students from experimental group were attending the intervention class outside the class room which was taken by the investigator himself. MLL based test developed by Kashinath (2005) was adapted and used for assessing selected MLL competencies, which had 7 competencies was administered on the students selected 4 government primary schools of Shimoga district. The results showed that experimental group had gained significantly higher competencies in total scores than the control group. Further, male students of experimental group had substantial gain compared to all other groups.

<p><em>The purpose of this research was to improve learning outcomes in theme 4 sub-theme 2 learning 6 grade III elementary schools with a powerpoint media. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with three cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out a pre test and post test to determine the progress of students. In the first cycle the students who completed after carrying out the post test were 35%. In the second cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 60%. In the third cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 90%. These results indicate that powerpoint media can improve student interest and learning outcomes, especially grade III theme 4 sub-theme 2 learning 6 at SDN 1 Karanganyar.</em></p>
