Project Based Learning to Improve Student Learning Outcome in Chemistry Lessons with the Subject Matter of the Nature of Chemistry Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in chemistry lessons with the subject matter of the nature of Chemistry, and to determine the magnitude of the increase. Classroom Action Research is carried out in 2 cycles. The variables used are improvement in learning outcomes including cognitive, and psychomotor values. The instruments used were pretest-posttest, portfolio, observation sheet, and questionnaire questionnaire. Data were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. From the results of the study obtained a picture of students who reached KKM cognitive value as much as 97% with an average value of 82, students who achieved KKM psychomotor value as much as 100% with an average value of 91. There was an increase in the success of teachers in applying the PjBL learning model in the first cycle of 88%, increasing in the second cycle by 97%. The increase in the average activity of students in the first cycle was 82%, increasing in the second cycle by 93%. The average interest of students also increases in the first cycle by 84%, increasing in the second cycle by 92%. Observation of the application of PjBL as a whole shows a very good value of 95. Based on the results of the analysis of the data shows that learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes of the subject matter of the nature of chemistry.

The purpose of this paper is to improve student learning outcomes. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model Thiagarajan which includes stages Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate but the Disseminate stage is not carried out. The findings showed that the feasibility of the material, language, evaluation, and graphics of 87%, 85%, 85%, 87% with a very decent category. The average N-gain score got a score of 0.6 categorized as moderate and classical completeness of student learning outcomes is 90%. While the results of the responses of students get an average percentage of 90,4% categorized as very feasible. Improved learning outcomes can be obtained using MMPII worksheets which include metacognitive features namely planning, monitoring, and evaluating. This study uses limited trials that were conducted on 20 students of XI IPS class Kanjeng Sepuh Senior High School.

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes in science learning through the application of the PjBL model. This research is a classroom action research with 21 students of grade VI SD Margadana 5 Tegal as the subject. This research was conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle of 2 meetings. Each meeting consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Based on the results of the research, in the first cycle, it was obtained an average of 68.09 classical student learning outcomes with 52% student completeness success, and in the second cycle the classical student learning outcomes were 70.47 with the completeness success increasing to 67% and still under the indicators of success. In cycle III, the classical average of student learning outcomes was 83.33 with the success of student completeness increasing to 86% in this case it was more than the 75% achievement indicator. So from cycle I, cycle II and cycle III there is an increase in student learning outcomes. So, in this study it can be concluded that using the PjBL model can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects magnetic and non-magnetic objects.
