The article describes the analysis of the ship systems’ reliability at the stage of the technical design, which is based on the reliability data of individual system elements and mathematical methods of reliability theory. During the ship operation maintenance deficiencies can lead to the equipment failure, which can be prevented by the methods of instrumental diagnostics of system elements, maintenance repairs regardless of the current technical condition, and classification inspection during the ship operation. Collecting the detailed data on changes in the functional reliability of ship mechanical systems, which could confirm or deny the advantages of each of the existing methods is not enough. There has been carried out collecting, processing and analyzing the actual data on the life cycles of various pumps of ship systems at different stages of service life, as well as beyond the designated service life or operating time. There are examined the general ship systems and auxiliary power units of icebreakers and floating structures. The examined equipment has standard pumps with different capacity and efficiency. Service life, assigned resource (operating time), frequency of repair are taken as the criteria of pump reliability and durability. There have been shown the actual life cycles of pumps in dependence of the service life in years on the operating time in hours; in addition, data on the passage of maintenance repairs, maintenance, inspection of the technical condition, as well as replacement or extension of the service life are plotted on the graphs. It has been inferred that some of the pumps in the ship's systems should be replaced before the full resource was developed, while the performance of the systems as a whole was preserved or restored as a result of repairs; some pumps have exceeded their specified resource, but during the technical inspection their operation was extended, the operability of the systems was also preserved.

The necessity of formation of resource-saving ekologiurad-based utilization system of agricultural machinery in agriculture was confirmed by studies conducted in the center FNAC VIM in 2013-2018 years during this period, information was collected about the structure of the charged parts of agricultural machinery (agricultural machinery) going to maintenance of the enterprise with the purpose of recycling. Qualified specialists of repair enterprises were involved in determining the status of parts of the utilized equipment, normative documentation and necessary equipment were used. Terms of operation were determined from the date of purchase until the receipt of the machine to the repair company. The obtained data were subjected to statistical processing in order to determine the effect of the terms of service on the technical condition of these items and determining the number of parts of different groups (in percentage) included in the utilized agricultural machinery, as well as one of the main factors for deciding the feasibility of recycling equipment. The aim of work is justification of alternative ecological oriented intelligent system “Selkhozretsikling” formation for realization of a new strategy of resources use connected with their reuse. The averaged dependences of the change in the coefficient of technical readiness for tractors and combines on their service life are determined. Making an informed decision about the appropriateness of further use the machine (repair or disposal), which is close (or reached) to the limit state depends on the accuracy and timeliness of receiving information about the level of loss of its fitness after a certain service life or operating time. As analysis showed in most farms (52%) the preparation of the components of wastes derived of operation technics allows to use their potential on secondary market. Theoretical works and legislative documents make it possible to carry out the necessary practical measures for the formation of a system for utilization of agricultural equipment.

Introduction. A study of the fleet of fire trucks was conducted. The absence of a direct dependence of the operating time of a fire truck on its service life is confirmed on the basis of the analysis. A matrix of conditions for making a decision on the need to replace a fire truck is formed, taking into account the standard purpose of the fire truck, its service life, the actual technical condition described by the corresponding category of technical condition, as well as the date of termination of its release. A criterion for the need to replace a fire truck has been developed, as well as an algorithm for making a decision on the need to replace a fire truck in conditions of limited funding. Goals and objectives. The purpose of the article is to develop an algorithm for making a decision about the need to replace a fire truck. This goal allows us to solve the problem of justifying the need to replace the sample in the course of ensuring a given level of readiness of fire and rescue units. Methods. Methods of mathematical statistics, the theory of the importance of criteria, technical and economic analysis, mathematical modeling and system analysis were used to achieve the goal and solve the problems of the study. Results and discussion. A criterion for the need to replace a fire truck is developed, on the basis of which a block diagram of the algorithm for making a decision on the need to replace a sample is formed. Conclusion. The results obtained in the course of the work can be used in the development of programs (plans) for re-equipping fire and rescue units with modern fire trucks. This article deals with structural features and characteristic changes that affect the mechanical characteristics after different service life in real conditions using the example of the blades of the 4th stage of turbine GTE-45-3 with an operating time of 13,000 to 100,000 hours. To study the change in the state of the material under different operating conditions, determine the degree of influence of heat treatment on the regeneration of the microstructure, and restore the mechanical characteristics of the alloy after different periods of operation, non-standard methods were used: relaxation tests on miniature samples to determine the physical yield strength and microplasticity limit and quantitative evaluation of the plasticity coefficient of the material from experimental values of hardness, which allow us to identify the changes occurring in the microvolumes of the material and predict the performance of the product as a whole.

Modern vehicles operated on the railways of Ukraine have almost exhausted or exceeded their resource. The overuse of financial and material resources for their maintenance continues. The standard service life of vehicles was calculated on stable economic conditions of use of vehicles and their timely updating in process of aging. The service life of modern vehicles is determined by the influence of many factors, the disregard of which can lead to significant costs, even in compliance with the standard service life. For railway transport, these factors need modern clarification, as in operation their service life often exceeds the standard or, as for intermodal transport, the service life does not have a strict justification. Accordingly, the article analyzes the issues of assessing the impact on the service life of vehicles of the components of the cost of its maintenance and average daily mileage. It is shown that, firstly, the definition of the service life of vehicles must be linked to the cost of vehicle development, its creation, testing and production, the cost of operation and storage, as well as additional costs, and secondly , with the optimal average daily mileage, at which all the costs are minimal.

The aim of the article is to compare the operational availability of the city buses. Two popular makes of buses were analysed in the function of time of use, during the six years of operation, in the Municipal Transport Company (MPK) in Lublin. A new division of operating time for the period of full operational usefulness and period of limited operational usefulness of vehicles was presented. It was shown that the average operational availability of the analysed buses differed significantly due to the vehicle's make and also due to the service life. The ANOVA analysis method was used to assess the significance of differences.
