Translation is important in preparing children's literature, especially in children's education. When a prospective teacher does not correctly translate teaching materials, children will be impacted by such inaccuracies such as learning confusion, improperly instilled socio-cultural values and even inadequate intellectual development. The disturbances mentioned are under these two condition such as: interlingual interference (also known as transfer between languages) and intralingual interference (also known as transfer in one language) which is reflected from the translation of English-language teaching materials. This research was a descriptive research aiming to find out, describe and explain the interlingual and intralingual interference found in children’s literature translation project. Participants of this research were students who joined in English Language Learning class of Early Childhood Teacher Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. By using translation task/project and semi-structured interview, the research data was collected. The result showed that students still encounter interlingual and intralingual interference especially in some categories. This finding triggered English language practitioners to cope with translation disorder in order to produce the best translated material for children’s education.

The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials of german literature with children’s literature material based on blended learning in German language education program Unimed. With this research, it is expected to improve the quality of learning in literature or nchildre literature courses so that students can quickly understand about German literature. This  research is conducted at the Faculty of Languages and Arts UNIMED, German Language Education Study Program. The method which uses in this research is the ADDIE development method. From the results of the study we will get literature textbooks with German children’s literature material based on blended learning and digital learning media as well as national or international indexed journal articles or proceedings.

The Boy in the Text: Mary Barber, Her Son, and Children’s Poetry in Poems on Several Occasions This paper reconsiders the work of Dublin poet Mary Barber, whose collection of poems appeared in 1733/34. There she acknowledges the assistance of Jonathan Swift, and frames her poetry as a pedagogical aid to her children’s education—particularly that of her eldest son, Constantine. Barber’s relationship with Swift has received much critical attention, as has her focus on her own motherhood—sometimes in critiques that suggest both of these hampered the quality and scope of her work. This paper asks readers to look at her poetry as the children’s literature she claimed it was, as well as being crossover literature aimed at more than one generation, published with the hope of the kind of success that Jonathan Swift (and John Gay, and Daniel Defoe) achieved by reaching more than one generation of readers.

Desenvolvido em uma escola pública de Educação Infantil, no município de Campinas (SP), o presente estudo objetiva compreender como a literatura infantil, enquanto espaço de fruição, pode ser utilizada para a aprendizagem de estratégias da autorregulação. Para o trabalho investigativo entrelaçamos narrativas e observações do cotidiano educacional e entrevista, utilizando como base teórica os pressupostos de Reuven Feuerstein. Os resultados obtidos possibilitam um maior entendimento sobre um processo já compreendido pelo âmbito científico como essencial para a promoção de aprendizagens que a criança levará consigo para toda a vida e indicam que novas pesquisas sobre a temática escolhida se fazem urgentemente necessárias, não apenas porque harmonizam deleite e aprendizagem, mas principalmente por que em equilíbrio, revelam que as crianças pequenas são capazes de se autorregularem, em uma formação humana integral e integrante por meio da literatura infantil.

This article traces the idea of manliness, masculinity and sexuality, and its connection with children’s literature in the Victorian age. As such, it sheds light on the stereotypes that accompanied the prevalent conceptions about masculinity and manliness in the Victorian age. Additionally, it explains how sexuality was considered to be an issue that had strict ideals, stereotypes, rules, and restrictions because it was governed by the social, religious and structural pedagogy of the society. According to the Victorian ideals, “manliness” was regarded as a moral and religious virtue that can control sexual desires, and lessen the level of danger and threat to the moral structure of the society. Within the framework of manliness and masculinity, the article stresses the point that children’s literature was certainly the pivotal focus that reflects these stereotypes or the Victorian ideals since it was part of the educational, ethical, religious and social life, especially for children’s education and upbringing.

This article investigates the perceived image of English-language children's literature in Soviet Russia. Framed by Even-Zohar's polysystem theory and Bourdieu's philosophy of action, the discussion takes into account the ideological constraints of the practice of translation and the manipulation of texts. Several factors involved in creating the perceived character of a body of literature are identified, such as the requirements of socialist realism, publishing practices in the Soviet Union, the tradition of free translation and accessibility in the translation of children's literature. This study explores these factors and, with reference to selected examples, illustrates how the political and sociological climate of translation in the Soviet Union influenced the translation practices and the field of translated children's literature, creating a particular image of English-language children's literature in (Soviet) Russia.

Children's literature serves as a powerful medium through which children construct messages about their roles In society and gender Identity is often central to this construction. Although possessing mental schemas about gender differences is helpful when children organize their ideas of the world around them, problems occur when children are exposed to a constant barrage of uncompromising, gender-schematic sources that lead to stereotyping which in turn represses the full development of the child. This paper focuses on how gender is represented in a selection of Malaysian children's books published in the English language. Relying on the type of content analysis employed by previous feminist social science researchers, I explore this selection of Malaysian children's books for young children and highlight some areas of concern with regard to the construction of maleness and femaleness in these texts. The results reveal Imbalances at various levels Including the distribution of main, supporting and minor characters along gendered lines and the positioning of male and female characters In the visual Illustrations. The stereotyping of these characters In terms of their behavioural traits will be discussed with the aim of drawing attention to the need for us to take concerted measures to provide our children with books that will help them realize their potential to the fullest.

Urgency Parents have an important role for Early Childhood Education especially with the covid outbreak so that children have to learn from home. This article aims to examine the urgency of Early Childhood Education education in the perspective of hadith, especially the hadith on the obligations of parents in educating children, which is associated with conditions in the era of the Coronavirus pandemi. Family is the first and foremost education for a person. Education in the family plays a role in developing character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values, and simple skills. There is a physical distancing policy so that learning is carried out online (in a network) so that the role of parents is very urgent in ensuring the continuity of their children's education. is the responsibility of the parents; Second, the best gift parents give their children is a good education; Third, parents as the first and foremost madrasa, especially for early childhood, are responsible for their children's education.

The article presents a cross-sectional view of the impact of the translations of English-language juvenile literature of the Golden Age on Polish literary production for young readers. This panorama of infl uences and reception modes is presented in three comparative close-ups, dealing with characters and recipients (English ‘girls’ novels’ and their Polish equivalents), literary convention (adventure novels), and fairytale quality, imagination, and fantasy (Polish literary works inspired by English classic fantasy books). The study shows that Golden Age children’s literature transferred into Polish by means of translation brought new trends, motifs, genres and themes to Polish juvenile literature, signifi cantly contributing to its development.
