Personality has a great effect on performance and coach-athlete relationship in a team. Sports scientist asserts that a lack of certain personality traits could help to explain “why some individuals gifted at sport do not thrive at elite level.” Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine any differences of personality traits between coaches and players of Malaysian football teams as well to identify any differences concerning to personality traits among Malaysian successful and less successful football teams. (n =16) coaches and (n = 200) players of the Malaysia Super League and Malaysia Premier League were identified to participate in the modified GEQ (2009) which measured personal attributes and personal qualities. Independent t-test apply and the results indicated that the null hypothesis was rejected with the statistically of n (214); t = 2.441, p = .015; ​​​<.05 and n(214); t = 2.434, p = .020; <0.05. Personal qualities and attributes showed significant high mean value for Malaysian successful football teams n (106); t = 4.947, p = .000; <.05.  This study distinguished personality traits that seem to set apart the successful high-performing coach and athletes. This study has contributed to Coaching Science, the body of knowledge.

BACKGROUND: Negative impact of abusive leadership has always been the focus of attention for researchers, however, the asymmetrical relationship of abuse with its outcomes has never been studied. OBJECTIVE: Drawing on Affective Events Theory (AET), this study investigates the moderating role of family motivation (FM), a prosocial intent, in yielding positive behavioural reactions among individuals facing workplace abuse. Negative emotions (NE) are taken as a unique mediating factor between abusive leadership (AL) and proactive behaviours (PB). METHODS: Data were collected from 309 employees of Pakistani manufacturing organizations. SEM is used for studying the proposed relationships and Smart PLS is used for data analysis. RESULTS: Results of the study suggest that negative emotions mediate the indirect relationship between abusive leadership and proactive behaviours. Family motivation strongly moderates and strengthens the positive direct relationship of negative emotions and proactive behaviours, concluding that it has a strong influence in altering behavioural reactions in response to negative triggers. CONCLUSIONS: This research study adds to the body of knowledge in suggesting FM as a strong intrinsic factor to be considered while creating synergy between organizational and human resource strategies.

Objective: To examine the relationship between static and dynamic balance and the shooting performance of curling athletes who continue their sports life actively at the elite level. Materials and Methods: A total of 15 athletes in the curling A national women's and men's teams participated in the research. The body compositions of the subjects were measured using the BODPOD device. SPORKAT 300 device was used to determine the static and dynamic balance levels. Static and Dynamic balance measurements were performed on both feet, right feet and left feet. In order to evaluate the shooting performance of the subjects, the curling shooting performance evaluation scale developed by Bedir and Erhan was used. SPSS v25 was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the measurements. The significance level was accepted as 0.05 in all statistical evaluations. Results: When the data obtained from the subjects were examined, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between both static and dynamic balance and shooting performance. In addition, it was determined that there were significant relationships between the subjects' body compositions, static/dynamic balance levels and shooting performances. Conclusion: It was determined that there is a significant relationship between static and dynamic balance and shooting performance. #FeesMustFall was a movement whose maxim was, “This revolution will be intersectional, or it will be bullshit.” This article is a self-reflection on my participation as a so-called radical black intersectional feminist in the #FeesMustFall movement at Stellenbosch University. It is also an attempt to provide evidence of the double erasures taking place in the mainstream patriarchal narratives about the #FeesMustFall movement. My story bears witness to the fact that queer black womxn were the backbone of the movement and that #FeesMustFall did indeed occur at Stellenbosch University. These constitute the double erasures taking place in terms of what is and can be known about the #FeesMustFall movement. My reflections serve to make a much-needed contribution to the body of knowledge produced about the #FeesMustFall movement.

The book’s epilogue explores the place of musical portraiture in the context of posthumous depictions of the deceased, and in relation to the so-called posthuman condition, which describes contemporary changes in the relationship of the individual with such aspects of life as technology and the body. It first examines Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo to view how Bernard Herrmann’s score relates to issues of portraiture and the depiction of the identity of the deceased. It then considers the work of cyborg composer-artist Neil Harbisson, who has aimed, through the use of new capabilities of hybridity between the body and technology, to convey something akin to visual likeness in his series of Sound Portraits. The epilogue shows how an examination of contemporary views of posthumous and posthuman identities helps to illuminate the ways music represents the self throughout the genre of musical portraiture.

Successful social reintegration is critical if we are to reduce recidivism and crime in general. This voice of people article presents a background case for why effective offender reintegration services are key in South Africa, and the Eastern Cape in particular, through an example of the Offender Reintegration programme rendered by the National Institute of Crime Prevention and Reintegration of Offenders (NICRO). Apart from the paucity of literature on offender reintegration, very few voices from people working directly with these former offenders are ever heard. Therefore, this article seeks to address this gap by contributing to the body of knowledge on offender social reintegration.

The academic literature on consumer engagement and sustainable consumption has developed gradually over the last two decades. The body of knowledge related to the role of food and non-food retailers in this context, however, is only beginning to develop. The purpose of this systematic review is to analyse the existing literature on how retailers fulfil their role in engaging consumers in sustainable consumption. The need for a study with this purpose is proven by the fact that academic literature lacks a systematic review on this topic, despite the ascending trend in the number of published articles in the field. This systematic review is based on a five-step process to ensure quality, replicability, transparency, and reliable conclusions. The reviewed articles were published relatively recently in academic journals from different domains. This review identified seven distinct types of retail marketing interventions (involvement of retailers in marketing actions with the aim to engage consumers in sustainable consumption), 30 types of retail marketing mechanisms (consisting in marketing strategies, techniques, tools, and channels used by retailers), and 14 distinct types of consumer engagement in sustainable consumption patterns. The review suggests an agenda for further research and identifies practical implications for retail management.

Abstract The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) marks the new, advanced era of development in humankind, and globally countries are in the process of ensuring their citizenry’s readiness. In South Africa, various governmental departments, organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and non-profit organisations (NPOs) are making efforts, through their plans, talks and actions, to attain this status for all her people, particularly women in rural areas. However, the development of women in the rural areas for empowerment remains a concern in developing countries. Consequently, there is a dire need to ensure the developmental status for women in rural areas in the advent of the 4IR, and this paper seeks to demonstrate that information and knowledge may be instrumental in empowering women in rural areas to strive in the 4IR. Accordingly, information and knowledge are a critical resource contributing to the empowerment of women in rural areas for their development. An exploratory question is raised to determine whether South Africa is ready for Fourth Industrial Revolution. The outcome of this paper will contribute to the body of knowledge advocating the importance of information and knowledge in the empowerment of women in rural areas. Significantly, it will generate insights for policymakers on the important role of information and knowledge for women’s development.
