Abstract:The mathematical representation ability of students at a Senior High School in Singkawang is still low. This is due to the habit of students receiving direct learning and passive activities. This article tries to find out the differences in mathematical representation abilities between students who are given the Group Investigation (GI) learning model and students who are given the direct learning model and describe the mathematical representation abilities of students in terms of learning activities with the GI learning model. The results showed that there were differences in the increase in the mathematical representation ability of students who were given the GI learning model and those who were given the direct learning model. The active mathematical representation ability of students is in the high category, while students with moderate and passive activities have moderate representation skills.

This study aims to find out: (1) learning activities of students in economic learning using a type of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray, (2) knowing the improvement of students' financial learning outcomes after using the Two Stay Two Stray type learning model. Subject in this study was the X grade social studies at the Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya as many as 20 students. The method used by researchers is using the Class Action Research (CAR) design. Based on the results of the study It was concluded that: (1) learning activities of students of class X IPS in Islamic Senior High School Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya are more active during economic learning using the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model. (2) Learning outcomes students experience improvement, in the first cycle completeness classically reaches 55% (11 people) of students complete. In cycle II the percentage of learning outcomes increases namely completeness in classics reaches 95% (19 people) students who complete

The main problem in this research is how to improve the results of the sociology learning subject of social interaction (advertising) through a type of Jigsaw cooperative learning model in class X students at State Senior High School 3 Sungguminasa Gowa. This study aimed to improve the results of the sociology learning subject of social interaction (advertising) in class X students at State Senior High School 3 Sungguminasa Gowa. This type of research was a classroom action research consists of two cycles that conducted four times. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that in the first cycle that was done, it has not been fulfilled because the average value obtained is 65.78. Whereas in the second cycle, from 27 students, there were 24 students or 88.89 had met the KKM and had been fulfilled the average value is 78.9 or in the high category, while the KKM standard was 70. Based on the findings of the research above it can be concluded the learning outcomes of class X sociology students at State Senior High School 3 Sungguminasa Gowa increased.

This study aims to determine the ability of solving mathematical problems through creative problem solving learning model higher than the direct learning model on the students of class X state senior high school of Jambi city. This research is an experimental research because of causal relationship. The way this study is to compare one or more comparison group that have received treatment. The sample of this research is class X MIA 1 as experiment class which is taught by creative problem solving model, while control class is X MIA 2 which is taught by direct learning model. From the result of research and discussion that have been done can be concluded that the ability of solving mathematical problems of students who are studied through the creative problem solving (experiments) learning model obtained an average of 71,9 and students in the learning through direct learning model (control) average 63,3. Of the two clasess obtained tcount is 4,17 and ttable is 1,66 then in this case H0 is rejected and H1 accepted at 95% confidence level. Then it can be concluded that the problem solving ability of mathematical students taught through creative problem solving learning model is higher that the students taught through direct learning model in class X state senior high school of Jambi city. Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, Creative Problem Solving Learning Model, Direct Learning Model.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model towards the improvement of students' critical thinking ability in Public Senior High School 15 Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The results showed that the students' ability in answering questions before learning using the jigsaw learning model was still in the low category or the initial research proved that most students were not able to answer the questions well, so the researchers took the next action, namely learning by using a jigsaw type cooperative learning model , the results of information obtained from learning conducted before the implementation of the study, while the information from the control class is low category consisting of 3 students, while the medium category is 9 students, and while the high category there are 7 students while the information in the experimental class is low category consists of 1 student, 11 students and a high category of 8 students, which can be concluded that there are differences in students' critical thinking outcomes with the use of a jigsaw type cooperative learning model.
