This study aims to implement an innovative and fun learning strategy, namely a formative evaluation based on the game "Kahoot and Quizizz" to increase student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic period. The study was conducted for Islamic Economics courses at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Lhokseumawe. Mixed-method research was employed in collecting data on students during the teaching-learning process for one semester. Quantitative data were obtained and analyzed from students' tests or formative evaluations and through questionnaires. Meanwhile, the qualitative data were obtained from personal in-depth interviews with several students from the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that the employment of the Kahoot and Quizizz game platforms has a positive impact on student achievement and motivation. This can be recognized from the results of the formative assessment data analysis and the responses from the questionnaire. The qualitative data also confers a positive value from the use of the Kahoot and Quizizz game applications. Four positive values emerged from the results of interviews with students regarding the application of these two applications, namely: fun, nothing boring, innovative assessment methods, and active classes.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price and brand trust on the brand switching behavior of Revlon lipstick on students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. This type of research is causative. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. The number of research samples based on William Cochran's formula was 100 people and selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. The data used is the type of primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University with predetermined criteria. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 22. The results show that (1) Price has a significant effect on brand switching of Revlon lipsticks to other brands of lipstick, (2) Brand trust has no significant effect on brand switching of Revlon lipsticks to other brands of lipstick. , (3) price has a significant effect on brand switching of Revlon lipstick to another brand of lipstick, while brand trust has no significant effect on brand switching of Revlon lipstick to another brand of lipstick.

One of the important issues as a generator of the world economy is the tourism sector. It can reflected in fluctuations in the number of visitors to tourist destinations that tend to increase, so it becomes a discussion material by both researchers and policy makers. This study investigate the determinants of consumer behavior in determining tourist destinations in Tangerang Regency, namely age, family structure, and education level. This study used a cross-sectional survey approach and analyzed it with a binary probit regression model. Sample sizes were 395 respondents from an infinite population. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling technique. The primary data was obtained using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Probit regression analysis showed that the age and level of education have a significant effect on consumer behaviour (visitors) in the selection of tourist destinations, while the family structure was not significant. The contribution of this research provides an alternative model of analysis and improves the consistency of the results of previous research. The current study also contributed to the importance of managing tourist destinations, in order to provide greater benefits for visitors and increased regional revenues from the retribution.

In the field of education every human being will experience a process. The presses are made to improve science, ability, creativity and innovation. In addition, education is able to increase economic growth, with the education sector able to increase the quality of human resources on the other hand indirectly, the old school's average increase in the quality of human resources and labor productivity so that it can reduce unemployment. The study aims to find out the impact of economic growth, the average length of school and unemployment on Indonesia's provincial education budget 2015-2019. This kind of research uses a quantitative method with the fixed effect model. The results of variable economic growth has significant impact on the education budget with a probability of 0,0019 or less than 0,05, for the average variable old school has significant impact on the education budget with a probability of 0.0022 and unemployment variable have a staggering 0.0000 or less than 0,05, and a variables of economic growth, the average long school and unemployment have a significant impact on the education budget with a probability of 0.000009 or less than a 0.05.

The ability to diversify the business for cooperatives according to the needs of members is a challenge. The goals of this research is to analyze knowledge management, innovation capability as a resource to build cooperative performance. The research method uses a quantitative approach to test the research hypothesis with data obtained through a survey of 230 cooperatives in Jakarta. The unit of observation is the employees and the members of the cooperative. Data analysis using SEM (structuration equation modeling). The results of the study confirm the importance of knowledge management and innovation capability to build performance. Transfer of knowledge to encourage innovation capability as one of the keys in knowledge management that leads cooperatives to sustainable performance. The theoretical implication is the development of the concept of a knowledge-sharing culture in a knowledge management system to realize performance. For cooperative managers, it is the development of knowledge management as a sustainable system and a culture of sharing to build superior cooperative performance. The research contribution is the development of the concept of knowledge as a resource to build performance excellence based on a sustainable perspective (RBV).

This study objectives are to analyze: 1) the effect of education on chronic poverty in West Sumatra, 2) the effect of economic growth on chronic poverty in West Sumatra, 3) the effect of per capita income on chronic poverty in West Sumatra, 4) the effect of education, economic growth and per capita income on chronic poverty in West Sumatra. This is a quantitative research. This study used secondary data from 2010-2019, obtained from related institutions and agencies and then was analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Prerequisite analysis tests performed include normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test. The results shows that 1) education has a negative and significant effect on chronic poverty in West Sumatera, 2) economic growth has a negative and significant effect on chronic poverty in West Sumatera, 3) per capita income has negative and insignificant effect on chronic poverty in West Sumatera, 4) education, economic growth and per capita income have significant effect on chronic poverty in West Sumatera simultaneously.

The changes of curriculum affect all learning aspects including students. It changes the students’ communication skill, and it can be a problem. To overcome that problem, cooperative learning model is considered to be a solution because this model has many types of strategies such as think pair share (TPS) and send greetings and questions (SGQ). The aims of this study were to investigate the effect of TPS and SGQ implementation toward students’ communicative skills, and to find out the differences of students’ communication skill after learning through TPS and SGQ. This study was a comparative and experimental research. The population was students of Indraprasta University into two classes:1st class consisted of 20 students and the 2nd class consisted of 24 students. The data were attained by using questionnaire for communication skills, observation sheet for the implementation of TPS and SGQ cooperative learning model, and documentation for mid and final test. The result showed that (1) there was a significant effect of TPS implementation toward students’ communication skills; (2) there was a significant effect of SGQ implementation toward students’ communication skills; and (3) there was no difference of students’ communication skills between the implementation of TPS and SGQ cooperative learning model.

This study aims to reveal the creativity and innovation of SMEs in the culinary sub-sector in Makassar City, when viewed from the perspective of the creative economy in the new adaptation period. This study is a study with a quantitative descriptive approach with survey techniques. There are four aspects measured in this study, namely the adaptation of new habits, the creativity of the culinary sub-sector MSME actors, the innovation of the culinary sub-sector MSME actors, and the marketing strategy carried out by the culinary sub-sector MSME actors. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique by setting specific criteria as a condition for determining the sample so that a sample of 30 SMEs in the culinary sub-sector was obtained. The findings of this study show that even though they have faced a big storm that has shaken their economy, the culinary sub-sector MSME actors still maintain their business existence in order to be able to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is proven that the culinary sub-sector MSME actors have creativity and innovation by adapting to new habits through the use of technology in business management and marketing strategies, and complying with health protocols to local government regulations.

Companies that have the potential will continue to improve by making innovations, being creative and innovating. So that it is expected to obtain qualified funding. This qualified funding will certainly be referred to by looking at the corporate governance structure and the level of underpricing for companies conducting Initial Public Offering (IPO). In achieving the company's goals, many theories put forward by experts. One of them is signaling theory. This theory explains that the existence of a good corporate governance structure, when a company conducts an IPO. This is a positive signal for investors to get involved in a company. Important points in corporate governance include the number of commissioners, dependent commissioners, ownership concentration and institutional ownership. The method used is comparative causal research using multiple regression analysis. Sample 62 observations in companies that have IPO from 2011 to 2016. The results show the number of members of the board of commissioners, the level of independence of the board of commissioners has a significant effect on underpricing. however, the concentration of ownership and institutional ownership has no significant effect on underpricing.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of SAK ETAP in the presentation of the cooperative's financial statements according to the Regulation of the Minister of KUKM RI No. 13/Per/M.KUKM/IX/2015 on the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih P. Siantar. This study also aims to see the appearance of the financial statements presented by the CU Bina Kasih Cooperative P. Siantar. This study also aims to look at the presentation’s forms of financial statements presented by the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih P. Siantar. The data collection technique in this study was by observing the technique of presenting financial statements at the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih, then conducting interviews with the Cooperative Management, and obtaining documentation sourced from the Annual Financial Reports of the CU Bina Kasih Cooperative. The results of the study show that: (1) The Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih has not presented financial statements based on SAK ETAP according to the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia KUKM No. 13/Per/M.KUKM/IX/2015, (2) The components of the financial statements presented by the CU Bina Kasih P.Siantar Kopdit are only in the form of a Balance Sheet and Calculation of Remaining Operating Results and an Explanation of the Balance Sheet, and (3) Presentation of assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses by CU Bina Kasih Cooperative have not been presented based on their characteristics.
