Abstract This paper aims to propose a change of the management paradigm by placing in the foreground the relationship between manager and stakeholder instead of the manager–subordinate relationship. The new managerial paradigm comes as a result of the wide-ranging mutations that have taken place in recent decades at the level of societies, economies and organizations around the world, which have forced the change of traditional managerial approaches. The work emphasizes why is necessary and possible to change the management paradigm in the present context, taking into consideration managerial and organizational arguments, that are based on observations, suggestions and recommendations of numerous specialists. Also, there are highlighted the quantitative and the qualitative differences between managerial paradigm focused on stakeholders and classical managerial paradigm of manager–employee, as well as the main advantages of a company stakeholder-based management system.

In order for a company to economically survive, it needs to compete with a highly competitive market. The world is changing fast, adding different types of risks to companies. So, companies need to not only meet requirements but also exceed them. At the same time, companies are required to lower the level of risks they may encounter. As a result, continuous improvement and risk management should be key factors to insure company success. This study explores the relationship between the two concepts and gives examples where the interconnections between them exist. Also, the study explains the important key components of continuous improvement and the classifications of risk management. Finally, this article focuses on three aspects, managing complaints, developing strategy, and creating a suitable culture. These aspects are evaluated based on the relationship between continuous improvement and risk management.

“After creating a market for his “new to the world” product and a significant partnership with the German-based SAP, Sridhar Tayur had an opportunity to take the partnership with SAP to another level by establishing a reseller arrangement, available to only a dozen or so of SAP's elite partners—widely considered in the enterprise software industry as a dream come true for technology entrepreneurs. Suitable for use in MBA, EMBA, and GEMBA programs, this case offers the opportunity to focus decision making on several key marketing and sales issues. Should Tayur sign a deal with SAP, thereby handing significant control of the messaging and positioning of SmartOps to a global giant? How reliant on SAP did he really want to get? Would signing the deal make losing control of his company more likely and alienate prospects who were not fans of SAP? What would not doing the deal mean for the relationship with SAP? Would SAP go down the reseller route with a competitor? What exactly was a good reseller contract, and was it possible for a company as small as SmartOps to make the agreement a win-win?”

A vállalati teljesítmény megítélésénél egyre nagyobb hangsúlyt kap a környezeti teljesítmény vizsgálata. _________ When evaluating corporate performance, more and more emphasis is put on the assessment of environmental performance as well. It is not obvious however, what good environmental performance means: some researchers interpret it for example as decreasing environmental load while others as introducing an environmental management system. These differences in many cases lead to contradictory conclusions, whether environmentally good companies would outperform their competitors in other fields as well. In the article the author attempts to build a model for interpreting the concept of environmental performance, enabling more exact analysis of the relationship between company and environmental performance, and so making better company decisions.

The influence of interactional injustice and emotional stability on deviant behavior in organizations The influence of interactional injustice and emotional stability on deviant behavior in organizations M. Vos & E. Giebels, Gedrag & Organisatie, volume 20, November 2007, nr. 4, pp. 392-408 Workplace deviance has become an increasing concern for employees and employers all over the world. A field experiment was conducted to investigate the relationship between interactional injustice and workplace deviance and the moderating influence of emotional stability. 117 employees from a company in the service industries read a situation sketch in which half of the subjects were confronted with a interactional just situation and the other half with a interactional unjust situation. The results indicated that interactional injustice as well as emotional instability induced deviance directed to the management but not more general forms of workplace deviance. The relationships between interactional injustice and emotional stability on the one hand and deviant behavior on the other hand appeared to be partially mediated by negative affect. No support was found for an interaction between interactional injustice and emotional stability on workplace deviance.

Commercial advertisement aims to convey communication messages that are delivered by the company to potential customers. Advertising is a medium where someone shows something to others, with hope that the other person will do something to fulfill the desire of the message sender. In commercial advertisement, a company does its effort to sale its product by using engaging languages. However, there is a unique thing in the world of cigarette advertising in Indonesia. Government regulations prohibit cigarette manufacturers to promote their products using a direct language in broadcast media. This encourages cigarette manufacturers to do creative things in creating ads. One way is by using pictures, signs, and implied languages. Based on the principles in the theory of speech acts, Austin (1978: 101) distinguished three kinds of speech acts, namely locution, ilocution and perlocution, that occur simultaneously. In this journal, the author will focus on a Cigarette Ad namely Sampoerna Hijau version of "Visiting Invitation", with its tagline "The Pleasure of Togetherness". The analysis on this ad aims to analyze what implied messages actually in this ad, which are more detailed, such as the form of speech acts locution, ilocution and perlocution in advertising. The advertisement "Visiting Invitation" does not seem to have anything to do with Sampoerna Hijau Cigarettes. Thus, it is necessary to do analysis using Semiotics method to find the relationship between the advertisement  and the expectation of producer to make the audience buy his product.

The aim of the paper is theoretical presentation, along with a description of the practical example, the relationship between human capital and the expected basic salary, as well as the presentation of diversified non-wage motivation methods for employees. In today's innovative times, where the world seems to be the most technologically advanced, worker is still the most important component in the establishment of a company. A company that does not possess a creative, highly qualified and properly motivated staff cannot count on achieving competitive advantage, market success, and long-term profitability.
