This article describes how the majority of Australia's indigenous communities live within isolated regions and are typically characterized by levels of disadvantage not evidenced within mainstream Australian society. While there are a number of reasons for the evidenced disadvantages, access to financial services and social services are acknowledged as key contributors. The article outlines the role of banking sector competition and changing banking structures on the exclusion of indigenous people from banking services. It is claimed herein that access, marketing, price, and self-exclusion all serve to promote financial exclusion. It is posited that forms of access exclusion such as bank branch access and geographic dispersion have served as the key structural impediments to indigenous financial inclusion. Specifically, this article considers the potential role of adaptive cellular technologies and community telecentres in addressing financial exclusion within indigenous communities. Detailing successful ‘social banking' models adopted in several developing countries, it is asserted that m-banking could serve as a powerful tool for inclusion.

India is a country with diversity noticeable in each division of life as well as financial services. The current study examines the initiatives taken by the Ministry of Finance and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to intensify the accessibility to investment opportunities in financial instruments for the poor or deprived section of society, the initiatives taken in past, present scenario and to recommend the initiatives for the longer term. Households living in rural areas or having low income usually lack access to banking services or financial services. It is tough for these families to save and to arrange financial resources for the longer term. The ease of access and usage of the financial services and products influences the economic health of the individuals as well as of the state. It has been analyzed that the most important barrier towards accessibility of financial service is the psychological and the profitability of banks. There is a requirement for a robust, dynamic research-based business model with regard to an innovative, digitalized and sound economic system.

Financial service organizations are increasingly interested in ways to improve the service experience quality for customers, while customers progressively perceive the commoditization of banking services. This is no easy task, as factors outside the control of the service firm can influence customers’ perceptions of their experience. This study builds on the customer equity framework to understand the linkages between what the firm does (customer equity drivers: value equity, brand equity, and relationship equity), the social environment (social influence), the customer experience quality, and its ultimate impact on profitability. Using perceptual and transactional data for a sample of customers of financial services, we demonstrate the central role played by factors under the control of the firm (value, brand, and relationship equity) and those outside its control (social influence) in shaping customers’ perceptions of the quality of their experience. We offer new insights into the moderating role of social influence in the linkages between the customer equity drivers and the customer experience quality. The managerial takeaway is that the impact of customer equity drivers on the customer experience quality is contingent on the influence exerted by other people and that enhancing customer experience quality can be a way to increase monetary returns.

  The study aimed at examining some of the indicators of financial inclusion in the Palestinian banking sector through published secondary data on the Palestinian banking sector during the period (2013- 2017), as well as to measure the degree of protection for beneficiaries of financial services in the Palestinian banking sector. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to suit the purposes of the study. The secondary data published and prepared by the researcher were used to examine the state of financial coverage in the banking sector. A questionnaire has been designed for the purpose of collecting preliminary data regarding the level of protection provided by the banking sector to users of financial banking services through 8 areas of protection developed after reference to literature and previous studies. The study population consisted of all the beneficiaries of banking financial services in the West Bank. In view of the large size of the study society, a soft sample of (100) conditional on the characteristics of the respondents was used in terms of (banking culture, years of experience in dealing with banks, Sectoral& banking diversification).The researcher reached the following results: - The Palestinian banking sector promotes the reality of financial inclusion, which contributes significantly to enhancing financial stability. Where banks are strengthening protection for users of banking services, although the level of protection was average (2.78) overall score through the eight areas covered by the study. - The regulatory and supervisory role of the Palestinian Monetary Authority in this important sector was medium. Consumer protection bodies are required to have an active and proactive role to organize the required protection. The researcher recommended the importance of financial education to improve the financial personality of individuals and institutions, help them understand their rights and duties in dealing with the services discharged, the importance of the consumer protection associations roles in enhancing banking protection.

Access to bank account is only a part of the problem when we talk of financial inclusion because several people with a bank account are not necessarily using them to deposit their savings or carry out transactions. This article makes an attempt to examine the reasons for low utilisation of banking facilities. It employs financial inclusion insights (FII) data for Indian population to find out an outcome of financial inclusion (and thus social inclusion as well) based on the usage of banking services with covariates like financial literacy, the probability that any financial service is accessible to the respondent in terms distance, type of mobile phone and spatial density. We use truncated probit model to measure the incidence of under-banking. Our findings show that there is a negative association between supply-side constraints and usage of banking services, implying that low access to financial services in time and space stands as a hindrance to financial inclusion. Further, we find from the financial inclusion and exclusion map at the district level that even though economic agents intend to participate in the space in which he/she is living is not much inclusive.

The Indonesian banking sector has been stable and generally sound over the past decade, partly through efforts by the Bank of Indonesia as Indonesia's central bank and Otoritas Jasa Keuangan as its financial services regulator. This chapter identifies important issues that remain for both conventional and Islamic banking in Indonesia. Authors suggest the government continue its efforts to reform what remains a geographically concentrated industry, to increase the role of bank credit in the economy, and to widen the provision of banking services through technology. Authors highlight the vulnerability of smaller banks in Indonesia to ongoing competitive market pressures and the necessity of creating larger banks through merger or capital raising and improving credit allocation to small and medium-sized businesses. Islamic banking has an important role to play in these developments, and those relating to Islamic social banking.

The banking automation one of the most important characteristics of the financial and banking systems in the modern era, which led to obtain a breakthrough in the quality of banking services provided and the transition from traditional banking to modern banking, which hastened the transmission of internal and external financial flows from units fiscal surplus operations into units deficit financial, leading to Thant financial architecture, which is the artery that feeds the investments in infrastructure, as the technology to accelerate contribute to or use of time in the transfer of funds between units of the fiscal surplus to units of the fiscal deficit and the repayment of financial obligations between the different types of customers in the banking and financial systems, and that is reflected positively on the financial and banking system in particular, and economic development in general. Hence highlight the Saudi banking work that follow strategies to develop it for a long time , and try to Kingdom of access Banking work to the world in providing various banking and financial services , because whenever the banking system is well-developed as indicated by the presence or the adoption of many and varied financial instruments that allow many options to customers with which contributes to the activation of the investment environment.

<p>Increasing competition in the Indonesian banking industry has encouraged many banks to improve the quality of services to customers by utilizing information technology developments. Service innovation in the use of information technology encourages banks to enter the era of digital banking services. However, the development of digital banking services also increases the risks faced by banks. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of digital banking services and customer protection for risks from digital banking services. The method used in this study is an empirical legal research method. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of digital banking services is regulated by OJK Regulation No.12/POJK.03/2018. The existence of this OJK Regulation is expected by banks as providers of digital banking services to always prioritize risk management in the use of information technology. In addition, this study also shows the existence of 2 types of customer protection for the use of digital banking services, namely preventive protection in the form of legislation related to customer protection in the financial services sector and repressive protection in the form of bank accountability for complaints from customers using digital banking services.</p>

The essence of such concepts is “financial service”, “financial ser- vices market”, and “participants of the financial services market”; determined the purpose of state regulation of the financial services market; forms of state regu- lation of the financial services market; financial services that are present in the financial services market; the structure of state regulation bodies of the financial services market in Ukraine is given; The role of state bodies in the regulation of the financial services market was studied; to characterize the regulatory le- gal regulation of the financial services market in Ukraine; the main problems of functioning of the domestic market of financial services are revealed; ways to solve existing problems. It is grounded that the state regulation of financial ser- vices markets consists in the state’s implementation of a set of measures aimed at regulating and overseeing financial services markets to protect the interests of financial services consumers and preventing crisis phenomena. It is concluded that the financial services market is an important element of the development of the economy as a whole, in particular, it concerns not only the state but also society. We must understand that when this market is settled, that is, all bodies that carry out state regulation are competent in their powers, only then will we make informed, effective decisions about the normal and effective functioning of the RFP. It is important that the data of the subjects of control do not overlap, their activities should be fixed at the legislative level. It is also worth bearing in mind that appropriate conditions must be created to create compensatory mecha- nisms in the financial services markets by developing a system for guarante- eing deposits and providing for payments under long-term life insurance contracts, non-state pension provisions, deposits with deposit accounts to credit unions, etс.
