Saat ini guru dituntut memiliki kemampuan mengintegrasikan TIK dalam pembelajaran untuk menjawab tantangan pembelajaran di abad 21. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi TIK guru adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran literasi digital di perguruan tinggi yang mencetak lulusan calon guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pembelajaran literasi digital pada kompetensi TIK mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berupa survei kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Kependidikan sebagai calon guru dan selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara untuk proses triangulasi data. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru di Universitas Negeri Semarang. Hasil survey menunjukan kedua kelompok responden memiliki kompetensi TIK yang baik. Namun setelah diteliti lebih dalam dari data triangulasi hasil wawancara komptensi TIK, calon guru yang telah memperoleh pembelajaran literasi digital lebih unggul pada aspek pemahaman TIK dalam pendidikan, organisasi, dan administrasi, dan pembejajaran guru profesional. Pengaruh pembelajaran digital terhadap kompetensi TIK calon guru pada ketiga aspek tersebut menjadi rekomendasi diterapkannya pembelajaran literasi digital pada perguruan tinggi yang mencetak calon guru.  Currently, teachers are required to have the ability to integrate ICT in learning to answer the challenges of learning in the 21st century. One of the efforts to improve teachers’ ICT competencies is to implement digital literacy learning in universities that produce prospective teacher graduates. This study aims to determine how the effect of digital literacy learning on the ICT competence of pre-service teacher students. The research uses a quantitative approach which is carried out in the form of a survey to students of the Education Study Program as pre-service teachers and then interviews are carried out for the data triangulation process. The research subjects were pre-service teacher students at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The survey questionnaire was developed based on the indicators of teacher ICT competence according to UNESCO which consists of 6 aspects. The survey results show that both groups of respondents have good ICT competencies. However, after a more in-depth investigation of the triangulation data from the ICT competency interviews, preservice teachers who have obtained digital literacy learning are superior in aspects of understanding ICT in education, organization and administration, and teaching professionalteachers. The influence of digital learning on the ICT competence of pre-service teachers in these three aspects becomes a recommendation for the implementation of digital literacy learning in universities that create pre-service teachers.

Abstrak: Kemelekan sains dan kemelekan inkuiri adalah dua hal penting yang harus dikuasai secara memadai oleh peserta didik dalam era globalisasi. Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kemelekan sains dan kemelekan inkuiri guru-guru mata pelajaran IPA SMP. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 25 orang guru IPA SMP yang sedang menempuh program S2 pada Program Studi Magister Pendidikan IPA di Universitas Mataram tahun akademik 2012/2013. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pola pretes-postes dan diberikan perlakuan berupa pelatihan berjenjang dengan total waktu 400 menit (4 kali tatap muka). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemelekan sains dan inkuiri guru-guru IPA SMP masih tergolong rendah. Dalam pola pelatihan berjenjang seperti ini guru hanya mampu meningkatkan kemelekan sains sebesar 1% dan kemelekan inkuiri sebesar 5%. Mengingat pentingnya peran kemelekan sains dan kemelekan inkuiri bagi peserta didik maka perlu dilakukan upaya sistematis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional para guru khususnya aspek kemelekan sains dan kemelekan inkuiri.Kata kunci: kemelekan, sains, inkuiri Abstract: Science literacy and inquiry literacy are two important aspects of life skills needed by both teachers and students in this globalization era. This research has been undertaken to analyzed science and inquiry literacy of high school science teachers in West Nusa Tenggara Provence. The research subjects consist of 25 teachers who joined the master degree in  the Magister Study Program of Educational Sciences in the University of Mataram during academic year 2012/2013. The research has been designed as one group pretest-postest experiment. The teacher students have been trained for 4 times of lecturer classes which equal to 400 minutes. The results of this research shown that the average scores  of science literacy and inquiry literacy of those student teachers can be categorized as low level (M ≤ 50%). The average scores of science literacy increased only 0,7 % and the inquiry literacy score increased about 5% after the training. Due to the important of these aspects in the context of science, therefore it is strongly recommended to constructs systematic and continuous efforts to help improve the teachers professional competences includes the science literacy and inquiry literacy.Keywords: literacy, sience, inquiry

This study aims to discover pre-service teachers’ experiences in developing digital learning designs during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that the findings of this study can help lecturers, university students, higher education institutions, and other relevant stakeholders in preparing the implementation of learning amid a global pandemic or other relevant crises, especially related to conducting the development of a particular design or product using ADDIE model. The method used in this study was a case study with a descriptive approach. Research subjects or participants involved in this study were 41 pre-service teachers who took a unit named “Desain Sistem Pembelajaran Digital or Digital Learning System Design” offered in the sixth semester in Bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. This study results in several findings related to pre-service teachers’ experiences in developing digital learning designs using the ADDIE model amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, this study also has discovered information regarding digital learning designs and digital learning materials/tools developed by the pre-service teachers.

This study aims to analyze the dimensions of creativity in integrated project-based learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The research method uses descriptive statistical analysis. This research was conducted on students of the Physics Education Study Program in Banjarmasin. The research subjects consisted of 24 physics teacher prospective students programming Applied Physics courses. Data obtained through tests, questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed by calculating the normality test, difference test, and N Gain. The results showed the order of increasing the percentage of N Gain in the creativity dimension from the lowest to the highest, namely the person dimension, the press dimension, the product dimension, and the process dimension. The strength of this research is to train the creativity of prospective teacher students through project creation by integrating STEM fields that combine cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities by exploring the problems that exist in their neighborhood. Further research on the dimensions of creativity in other learning models is needed to explore student creativity continuously and sustainably in order to produce quality resources.

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the blended learning rotation model to improve the scientific literacy skill of prospective teacher students. The design of this study used the Posttest-only design with nonequivalent groups. The research subjects were 76 students majoring in biology education at Universitas Mataram. The research was done to two experimental groups, namely the blended learning station rotation model (BLSRM) and regular learning (RL). The research instrument used a multiple-choice test which refers to the aspects of scientific literacy competence according to PISA. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively, complete with the Hotelling's T2 test to test the effect of BLSRM on students' scientific literacy skills. The results showed that students' scientific literacy skills were in the very low category (mean BLSRM = 38.50, RL = 34.22) and there was no effect of BLSRM on students' scientific literacy skills (Hotteling Trace = .098 and Sig. = .080). To improve students' scientific literacy skills, BLSRM needs to be combined with other models such as problem-solving model, so it can be an effective strategy in science learning

An important prerequisite for organizing a quality educational system for gifted children is well-trained teachers. In this chapter, the development of teacher competencies in gifted, through preservice teacher education coursework at the undergraduate level, is explored. Attitudes toward gifted children and their education are examined from the perspective of students enrolled at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka, Croatia. Pre-service teacher education students in both the early and preschool education program and the primary school education program were included in the research. Attitudes toward the course “Education of Gifted Children” were examined. Finally, attitudes about gifted children and their education by preservice teachers who had taken the “Education of Gifted Children” course were compared to the attitudes of those preservice teachers who had not taken the course. Results are discussed within the frame of the teachers' required competencies, attitudes, and study program modifications.

This study aims to describe the perceptions of prospective students in the first year in validating mathematical proof. This student's perception is discussed based on the answers given to the proof of a theorem. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were three students from the second semester mathematics education study program at a university in East Java. Research subjects were chosen deliberately with the following considerations: prospective teacher students who use examples in making mathematical proof and good communication skills make research can facilitate students' perceptions in writing mathematical proof. The results showed that students had perceptions about who gave several examples so that the proof was called valid, one example of denying it could prove it was invalid and using formal proof that proved it could be proven valid

This study examines the environmental literacy abilities of prospective Biology teacher students in the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University. The research subjects are Palembang and Indralaya class students who are teaching Human and Environmental Sciences Courses for the 2019/2020 academic year in Semester II. The skills measured in this study are Environmental Knowledge, Environmental Competence and Attitudes towards the environment formulated by the OECD and NAEE. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with research subjects totaling 75 students. The technique of collecting data is through interviews, and surveys using an instrument sheet consisting of 20 multiple choice questions, 20 essays and 20 attitude scales. The data analysis technique used the SPSS 18 program. The test instrument used was modified from the Middle Schools Environment Survey/Instrument (MSELS/I) test questions and adapted to the physical conditions and environmental problems in the city of Palembang. The results showed that the prospective Biology teacher students were in the medium category for the Environmental Knowledge and Competence aspect, and got the high category for Environmental Attitudes.

<p style="text-align: justify;">This study discusses students’ responses and perceptions on the e-book of Local History of West Java (Indonesia) developed by the researchers. It uses a Research and Development approach and experimental method. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and focus group discussions with interactive model data analysis. The research subjects were students and teachers of high schools in West Java. They were taken as the subjects as they can represent the region. The History E-book is, however, published on ebooksejarah.id page while the system was developed by using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Waterfall model. The results of the study indicate that the components of the e-book on the aspects of the materials, presentation, and completeness are overall suitable to be used by students. The materials are considered to be still inapplicable and not contextual. Further, they are still lack of latest issues as well as photos/illustrations. The study of student responses on the e-book reinforces that the zoomers (those belong to Generation Z) prefer to digital learning media because their social life belongs to the online world. Local history e-books should better adapt to the learning style of Generation Z, who prefer visuals and hands-on experiences to reading texts. Thus, e-book development needs to be equipped with various learning media in short audios and video explainers, animations, and infographics.</p>

One of the superior profiles that prospective elementary school teacher students should have is competence in providing inclusive education services. The importance of these competencies is analyzed in this study to describe the competence and readiness of University Muhammadiyah Malang Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program students in managing ABK learning in inclusive schools. The mixed-method research with research subjects was 300 students, five lecturers, and one East Java inclusion development team. The research data were collected through a group discussion forum, questionnaires, and documentation which were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. From the research results obtained the formulation of ten competencies in the management of inclusive learning that should be mastered by prospective elementary school teacher students. The results also showed that the majority of UMM PGSD Study Program students had good readiness in mastering the ten competencies, including 85 percent mastering criteria 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8; 65 percent mastered criteria 5 and 6; 80 percent mastered criteria 9 and 10. Salah satu profil unggul yang hendaknya dimiliki mahasiswa calon guru SD adalah kompetensi dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan inklusi. Pentingnya kompetensi tersebut dianalisis dalam penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi dan kesiapan mahasiswa Prodi PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran ABK di sekolah inklusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan subjek penelitian adalah 300 mahasiswa, lima dosen dan satu tim pengembang inklusi Jawa Timur. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui forum group discussion, angket dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh rumusan sepuluh kompetensi pengelolaan pembelajaran inklusi yang hendaknya dapat dikuasai mahasiswa calon guru SD. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa Prodi PGSD UMM memiliki kesiapan yang baik dalam menguasai sepuluh kompetensi tersebut, antara lain 85 persen menguasai kriteria 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 dan 8; 65 persen menguasai kriteria 5 dan 6; 80 persen menguasai kriteria 9 dan 10.

: The use of learning media is one of the critical success factors in higher education, therefore an educator must have innovation to use of learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on the Inspiring Suit 8 on arbitration material courses of theoretical and practice for Volleyball 1 academic year 2018/2019 at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The existence of media will be a big successful support in learning process, so that students do not feel boredom because of the weaknesses of the lecturers, in which they are unable to provided good learning variation or even have difficulty in conveying or transferring knowledge. The research was descriptive qualitative design. The research subjects were students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program who took volleyball theory and practice courses in the even semester academic year 2018/2019. The instruments used were the media expert review questionnaire, the learning expert questionnaire, and the trial analysis questionnaire. The questionnaire will be analyzed to see the feasibility of the developed media. Based on the data results review by media expert volleyball, media learning expert and field trials, it can be concluded that media developed is useful in learning process. In addition, it is used to provide independent motivation, which can be used in lesson for students.
