The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the determinants of profitability in the banking industry on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The variables that determine the profitability of a bank as measured by Return on Assets (ROA) include: Non Performing Loans (NPL), Operating Costs for Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). . The method of determining the sample in this research is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that NPL and BOPO had a negative effect on ROA, while LDR and CAR had a positive effect on ROA. The theoretical implication of this research is to increase the profitability of a bank, the bank management must be able to suppress NPL and OEOI, as well as increase LDR and CAR. The practical implication of this research is that bank management must always prioritize the principle of prudence in lending, and always increase efficiency in operations so that increased profitability can be achieved. Management must also be able to maintain an optimal level of lending and meet capital adequacy so as to increase profitability. Keywords: NPL, OEOI, LDR, CAR, and ROA

This research aimed to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL),Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) and Loan to Deposite Ratio (LDR) ratios on profitability (ROA). This type of research is quantitative research. The sample selection method in this research used purposive sampling method. The sample used was 20 of 45 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the periode 2016-2020. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 program. The result showed that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) t test had a significant effect on profitability (ROA)  partially, Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) has a negative effect on profitability(ROA) partially, then Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Loan to Deposite Ratio (LDR) have a positive and not significant effect on profitability (ROA). And from the result of the f test, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) and Loan to Deposite Ratio (LDR) variables have a simultaneous effect on profitability (ROA).  Keywords: CAR, NPL, BOPO, LDR, ROA

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the risk-based bank rating component as measured by non-performing loans, loan to deposit ratio, good corporate governance, return on assets and capital adequacy ratio on the value of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) Year 2013-2017. The research sample was selected using the nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 6 banking companies, so that the number of observations with a study period of 5 years was 30 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that non-performing loans and loan to deposit ratios have a negative effect on the value of banking companies. Return on assets and capital adequacy ratio have a positive effect on the value of banking companies and good corporate governance does not affect the value of banking companies. Keywords : Risk Based Bank Rating;  Company Value; Banking.

Abstract. This study aimed to analyze the effect of working capital to total assets (WCTA), operating income to total liabilities (OITL), and return on equity (ROE) on profit growth in transportation companies and construction and building companies listed on the Stock Exchange for the 2013-2017 period. The method used is purposive and cluster sampling. This study used is secondary data from the financial statements. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show for transportation companies, working capital to total assets (WCTA) and operating income to total liabilities (OITL) have no significant effect on profit growth and return on equity (ROE) have significant positive effect on profit growth. On construction and building companies, working capital to total assets (WCTA) have significant negative effect on profit growth. Operating income to total liabilities (OITL) and return on equity (ROE) have no significant effect on profit growth. Simultaneously both show the same results, the independent variable (WCTA, OITL, and ROE) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (profit growth).   Keywords: : working capital to total assets (WCTA), operating income to total liabilities (OITL), return on equity (ROE), profit growth

Banks are financial institutions whose activities are to collect funds (money) from the public in the form of deposits. Profitability in a bank is influenced by several factors, including operational risk and the level of capital adequacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Operational Risk and Capital Adequacy Ratio on Profitability at Bank Milik Swasta Nasional listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. This study uses a population of 6 private banks listed on the IDX with a total of 30, sampling on the IDX accessed through the website www.idx.co.id and data obtained in the form of published Private Bank Annual Report. The data analysis technique used is Descriptive Analysis, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Hypothesis Test (t and f test). The results of this study indicate that operational risk has a significant negative effect on profitability, and the level of capital adequacy has a significant positive effect on profitability.

The study aims to analyze the influence of internal banking factors in the form of: Capital Adequency Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Total Assets (TA) to Non Performing Financing at Sharia Banks. This research method used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 16.00 software which is used to see the influence between the independent variables in the form of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Total Assets (TA) to Non Performing Financing. The sample of this study was 3 Islamic Commercial Banks, so there were 36 annual reports obtained through purposive sampling, then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that based on the F Test, the independent variable had an effect on the NPF, indicated by the F value of 17,016 and significance of 0,000, overall the independent variable was able to explain the effect of 69.60%. While based on the partial t test, showed that CAR has a significant negative effect, Total assets have a significant positive effect with a significance value below 0.05 (5%). Meanwhile FDR does not affect NPF.

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) on Profitability with the Return On Assets (ROA) proxy on cigarette sub sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) quarterly in 2014-2019, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is descriptive verification with quantitative approaches. The sample in this study used purposive sampling. The statistical method used is the method of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) simultaneously had a significant effect on the Return on Assets (ROA) profitability. Partially Working Capital Turnover (WCT) has a significant negative effect on Return on Assets (ROA) profitability, Current Ratio (CR) has no effect on Return on Assets (ROA) Profitability, and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) has a significant positive effect on Return on Profitability Assets (ROA). The coefficient of determination obtained by 0.429 means that only 42.9% Profitability Return on Assets (ROA) is influenced by Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) and the rest 57.1 % is influenced by other variables.
