The term data-driven data-driven dialogue (DDD) has emerged recently as a valuable tool for organizing classroom discussion of any predicted lessons and monitoring students' learning process in the classroo  O’Brian, Nocon, and Sands (2010). The background of this study is most of the teachers in Indonesia tend to skip the dialogue process when they teach grammar to their students. These conditions impact the use of inappropriate grammar and decreased student interest in learning grammar, especially in English. Thus, this study aims to describe how data-driven dialogue methods can be applied in English classes for Senior High School students. The research was conducted in one of the Senior High Schools in Yogyakarta. The data collected through the DDD method using the four steps include (1) Predict, (2) Explore, (3) Explain, and (4) Take Action.

This research aims to design and implement mobile learning using Google Classroom and Quizizz applications for Arabic subjects for Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) students. This research is how to design, develop, and implement mobile learning in Arabic subjects among Madrasah Aliyah students. This learning media is made so that users can easily access an Arabic subject matter. The research target to be achieved is the existence of different exciting and easy-to-use learning media to increase student interest in learning and achievement in Arabic subjects. The research method used is experimental research with the design of this research model is one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted from January-August 2020. The subject of this study was Arabic language learning conducted at MA Nurul Ulum, Kota Gajah, and MA Ma'arif 9, Kota Gajah. The results show that the development of android-based mobile learning still has not demonstrated results and effectiveness on learning outcomes but is effective in growing motivation and interest in learning Arabic.

This study aims to investigate senior high school students and teachers’ perception of the use of Indonesian in their English classes. To achieve the objective, two sets of questionnaires were administered to gauge the perceptions of 556 students and 15 teachers of 10 senior high schools in Jabodebek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi). The findings revealed: (1) the majority of both students and teachers preferred to use Indonesian in their English classes; (2) they believed Indonesian is helpful in language skills development, language components learning, learning materials understanding and classroom interactions; (3) the students preferred the predominantly use of Indonesian, while the teachers preferred the predominantly use of English during the class hour; (4) the higher their grade, the higher amount of English the students would like to have in their English classrooms; and (5) teachers with longer teaching experience tended to expect the use of bigger proportion of Indonesian in English classrooms.

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.

The objectives of this study were to find out the types of lexical ambiguity and the most dominant type of lexical ambiguity used in analytical exposition texts in English Today 2 and Advanced Learning English 2 textbooks. This study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The research was mainly focused on the four types of lexical ambiguity proposed by Saeed, such as homonymy, polysemy, synonymy and antonymy. In carrying out this study, the data were taken from analytical exposition texts in reading materials and exercise material from the two English textbooks which contained of ambiguous words. The result of the study indicated the numbers of lexical ambiguity were 46 words within homonymy (34,8%), polysemy (28,2%), synonymy (19,6%), and antonymy (17,4%).

The purpose of this study is to find out how attitudes and interests of students and analyze the relationship between attitudes and student interest in high school physics subjects in Jambi Province. This type of research is quantitative which uses survey research design as a research procedure. This study involved 463 high school students in Jambi Province. The instrument used was a questionnaire with data analysis techniques namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the dominant student attitude indicators discussed in this paper are attitude indicators towards good research in physics with a percentage of 58.5% with a total of 271 students. The results of indicators of dominant interest are indicators of learning attention with categories good a percentage of 74.3% with total 344 students. The results of the analysis of the relationship between attitudes and interests of students towards high school physics subjects in Jambi Province showed r value 0.725 and positive. Therefore it is said that the attitudes and interests of high school students in Indonesia in physics subjects are high.
