This study empirically examines the effect of capital structure, company growth, and profitability on firm value with inflation as a moderating variable in issuers in 2012-2015. The sample of this study was 245 issuers. The research method uses the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) method. The result of this study is indicated that partially positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV) is the capital structure variable (DAR) and profitability (ROA), while company growth (growth) partially has a negative and no significant effect on firm value. Therefore, inflation moderates the effect of the relationship of profitability on firm value. The result of Simultaneous test showed that there is a significant effect of capital structure, company growth, profitability, and inflation simultaneously on firm value. This is indicated by the result of R-squared 19.3141% which indicated that variations in company value can be explained by variable capital structure, company growth, profitability and inflation of 19.3141% and the remaining 80.6859% explained by other factors.

Sample of this study uses purposive sampling method in order to obtain a final sample accounting 36 companies with observation period from 2012-2017. Type of data in this study secondary data and uses in multiple linier regression as an analytical tool. The result of this study indicate that institusional ownership has no effect on firm value. Capital structure, dividend policy and company growth have a positive effect on firm value. Corporate growth cannot moderate the reationship between institusional ownership and firm value. This study aims to determine the financial ratios represented by capital structure (DER), company size (ln total assets), business risk (DOL) to firm value. Data collection techniques using purposive sampling and obtained as many as 17 sample companies from 73 populations of chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2018 period. The analysis model uses multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the coefficient test, the R square value of 0.749 shows that the correlation or closeness of the relationship of capital structure, company size, business risk and company value is only 74.9%. Adjusted R Square value of 0.735 indicates that the variable capital structure, company size, and business risk explains the variable to the company value of 73.5%. In the F test shows that the value of Fcount> Ftable (53,644> 2.78) so that simultaneously DER, ln total assets, DOL affect the value of the company in the chemical sub-sector of 2014-2018. Whereas the T-test for Company Size is 0.00, which means it has a partial effect on Company Value. Based on these results it is recommended for investors to pay more attention to the value of DER, ln total assets, DOL before investing.

This research aims to analyze the effect profitability to firm value with capital structure as moderating variable in agriculture companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The dependent variable used is firm value (PBV), the independent variable is profitability (ROA), and capital structure (DER) as a moderating variable. The sampling technique was purposive sampling so that the number of samples obtained was 9 companies, with an observation period of 2014-2017. This type of research is associative causal. The analysis technique used in this study is panel date regression (common effect modell) using eviews, with a significant level of 5 percent. Descriptive statistics were also included which included average, median, minimum, maximum, and std. deviation. The results of this study indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value and, capital structure is weaken on the relationship of profitability to firm value. Capital structure is a quasi moderating where as the effect of capital structure to firm’s value and the effect of capital structure interaction to firm’s value is also significant. Keywords: Profitability, Capital Structure, Firm Value

The data in this study are in the form of annual reports obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely www.idx.co.id. The population in this study were 48 companies. The sampling technique was done by using purposive sampling technique, the number of companies used as a sample was 25 companies and the data obtained were 100 data. Data analysis was performed through the SPSS program. The data analysis methods used were: descriptive statistical test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the profitability variable proxied using ROE (Return on Equity) has an effect on firm value, institutional ownership variable has no effect on company value, profitability and institutional ownership variables jointly affect firm value, capital structure variable can moderate and strengthening the relationship between profitability to firm value and capital structure variables are unable to moderate the relationship between institutional ownership and property and real estate company value listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018.

Increased competition and problem loan in the banking sectors force banks to operate its activities more efficiently. However, bank’s efficiency, capital and risk are interrelated. The present study is made on assessing the inter-temporal relationship between efficiency, capital and risk of commercial banks in Bangladesh during the period 2011-2016 by setting simultaneous equation. The study uses three-stage least square model (3SLS) and dynamic panel generalized method of moments (GMM) model to estimate efficiency-capital-risk relationship. The study reports that both models provide consistent result regarding the relationship of bank’s operational efficiency with capital and risk and inconsistent result about the relationship between capital and risk. The study concludes that a U-shaped relationship is exited in the 3SLS model of efficiency-capital-risk relationship as banks’ operational efficiency and risk have positive relationship with capital and bank size, indicating that with increased capital and bank size, bank’s operational efficiency is improved at decreasing rate due to increase in bank’s risk.

This study discusses the size of the firm that is approved by the asset structure and capital structure of firm value. This research is a quantitative study. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study find facts about firm that manage the relationship of assets and capital structure to the value of the firm. Partially, the size of the company increases the asset structure against the value of the firm. The size of the firm is not in accordance with the firm structure of firm value. In conclusion, the size of the firm increases the use of assets in increasing the value of the firm.
