Water quality may be affected by aspects such as pollution from industries, agricultural fertilizers and pesticides, and waste produced by humans. This contamination can affect the produce of the fields irrigated by untreated water. Therefore, it is necessary to add a treatment process in irrigation systems. In this paper, an architecture, communication protocol, and a data analysis algorithm for a wastewater treatment system intended for irrigation are presented. Our system includes a smart group-based wireless sensor network that is able to detect high salinity levels and pollution stains, such as oil spills. When contamination is detected, the water is led into auxiliary canals that perform the biosorption process to treat the water and dump it back into the main canal. Simulations were performed to assess the amount of data stored on the secure digital (SD) card, the consumed bandwidth, and the energy consumption of our proposal. The results show the system has a low bandwidth consumption with a maximum of 2.58 kbps for the setting of two daily data transmissions of the node in the last auxiliary canal. Furthermore, it can sustain the energy consumption in adverse conditions, where the node with the highest energy consumption reaches the lowest energy value of 12,320 mW/h.

SQLite is a lightweight database which is widely used in most of embedded devices becauseof its advantages such as open source, zero configuration, self-contained, server less, highly concurrent, etc. The Android application in this paper uses SQLiteOpenHelper to initialize the database and store many kinds of data types such as text, date, time, image into database. GalleryAdapter extended from BaseAdapter is used to write the image taken by camera and stored in SD card into the database table. The design of user interface is aesthetic and convenient. The user experience is favorable. It is a good choice for family financial management.

This paper introduces the design of PDF417 two-dimensional barcode digital watermarking system with SOPC chip EP2C70F896C6 made by Alters fully. Analyzed structure and working principle of the hardware and software. System used video conversion chip VGA of DE2-70 development board made by Terasic Technologies and PCI bus interface chip SD card, realized the barcode watermark control with Verilog HDL and C language common programming. The system has many merits such as high velocity, good commonality and low costs etc.

Aimed at the frequency gas accident of coal mine, we designed a coal mine gas monitoring system based on Arduino microcontroller. The MQ-4 gas sensor was used to collect gas concentration, wireless ZigBee was used to transfer data of gas concentration to PC. The system can display gas concentration real-timely by LCD and use SD card to store the data. The system will send out sound and light alarm when the gas concentration overruns. Industrial tests have been carried out in Wuyang coal mine. Results show that gas monitoring system can well adapt to environment of underground coal mine and the measurement is accurate. The system is real-time monitoring and early warning. It has the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, wireless, good market prospect.

Pada masa kini dalam menentukan posisi dari suatu keberadaan kendaraan secara akurat memiliki peran yang penting, terutama untuk keperluan navigasi. Beragam jenis alat Global Positioning System (GPS) yang terdapat di pasaran digunakan dalam navigasi tetapi kebanyakan memberikan layanan yang kurang lebih sama. Layanan tersebut yaitu hanya dapat memberikan solusi dengan penyimpanan data pada kartu memory SD card. Dengan melihat hal itu maka pada penelitian ini memberikan suatu alternatif solusi yaitu dengan menambahkan kartu sim card dan mikrokontroler Arduino yang dilengkapi dengan GPS. Hal ini dapat menjadi keunggulan sistem yang telah dibuat yaitu dapat memberikan lokasi kendaraan terpantau secara online. Sistem yang dibuat ini berbasiskan geolocation. Pengujian sistem ini dilakukan dengan metode statik dan dinamik. Metode statik dilakukan pada saat GPS berhenti di tempat, sedangkan metode dinamik di lakukan pada saat GPS dalam keadaan kendaraan berjalan. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu terdapat delay pada pengambilan data berikutnya kurang lebih 30 detik baik pengujian statik maupun dinamik.

A manual sphygmomanometer is an instrument used to measure blood pressure, and consists of an inflatable cuff, a mercury manometer (or aneroid gauge) and an inflation ball and gauge. To assess the condition, accuracy and safety of mercury and anaeroid sphygmomanometers in use in general practice and to pilot a scheme for sphyg- momanometer maintenance within the district. Therefore, it must be calibrated periodically. Using the MPX 5050GP sensor as a positive pressure sensor. Requires a maximum pressure of 300 mmHg. This tool is also equipped with a SD Card as external storage. The display used in this module is TFT Nextion 2.8”. After conductings measurements of the three comparisons consisting of Multifunction, DPM and mercury tensimeter to 6 times, the smallest result 0 mmHg and the largest results 251.52 mmHg. While the error in mercury tensimeter’s of leak test to module and rigel is 0.56% and 0.404%.

This paper describes the design and implementation of SD card driver and tiny file system for multi-process micro-kernel embedded operating system on ARM in technical details, including structure of device driver, key techniques of designing SD card driver, architecture of the tiny file system, a brief description of its designing and a demo example. The SD card driver and tiny FS are implemented with GNU tool chain by the author of this paper. Practice proves that the system can be used for not only embedded application developments but also related curriculum teaching.

We aim to invent an automatic bus station reporter based on GPS module, VS1003 chip and SD card. Firstly, the VS1003 chip within the reporter can both decode and play the MP3 files, greatly improving the voice quality of the reporter itself. Secondly, the SD card with giant storage can store the information of bus stations and the accordingly voice files, making it free from the limit of capacity. Besides, with the change of SD cards, the reporter can adjust itself to different bus lines and gives different voice messages.
