During the first half of 2021 6 more webinars took place online, as a continuation of a series of lectures and workshops for scientists on writing quality of scientific articles, These events were held with the support of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Western Scientific Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Council of Scientific Editors of Ukraine. The participants had opportunity to view online broadcasts and recordings of the events at “Рroceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences” journal Facebook page and Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC40L7KlZ5UU4hrMj_--yqHw). Each registered participant received a certificate with certain number of points of continuous professional development. Traditionally, webinars were held in English, among the invited speakers were Ukrainian and foreign fellow scientists from Great Britain, Croatia, USA, Iran and India

In the second half of 2021, 2 webinars and a meeting of the editorial team of the journal “Proceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences ” took place online. These events took place as a continuation of a specially designed program of lectures and masterclasses in English to improve the writing skills of modern high-quality scientific publications. These events were held with the support of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Western Scientific Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Council of Scientific Editors of Ukraine. During 2020 a series of lectures and master classes, dedicated to scientific writing in journals indexed by international scientometric databases were held with the support of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Western Scientific Centre of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the events were held using Zoom platform. Also the participants had opportunity to view online broadcasts and recordings of the events at “Рroceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences” journal Facebook page and Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC40L7KlZ5UU4hrMj_--yqHw). Foreign colleagues-scientists from Great Britain and India, who are expert reviewers of Scopus and Web of science databases became the speakers of these webinars as well as Ukrainian colleagues-scientists. Scientific authors, graduate students, doctoral students, as well as editors of scientific journals of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and other medical universities of Ukraine were the target audience of these English-speaking events. Each registered participant received a certificate, providing a certain number of points of continuous professional development.

Despite of COVID-19 challenges in 2020, our journal has recently received acceptations to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and in processing to Ulrichsweb & Ulrichs Periodicals Directory. The Proceedings of Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences obtains manuscripts over the world [1-8]. The decision on their publications is based on potentially influential contents of interest to Ukrainian and other medical and healthcare professionals, scientists and medical students after successful critical peer review [9]. All of the editorial staff of The Proceedings of Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences sincerely appreciates the authors’ contributions. Among them, the best corresponding authors (based on download counts of their articles and positive social media attention) are Dr. Sandor Szabo (American University Health Science, CA, USA) and Dr. Natalia Matolinets (Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Lviv, Ukraine). In 2020, The Proceedings of Shevchenko Scientific Society. Medical Sciences has put all efforts to upgrade the Journal peer review standards, offering regular educational courses/webinars to advance their editorial credentials to better serve the professional interests of the Journal readers. The main results of the tasks of the subprogram “Metallurgy” obtained by the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus are presented. Their contribution to the solution of scientific and practical problems in the field of metallurgy is shown.The article presents promising developments proposed for implementation in 2021–2025, aimed at optimizing existing foundries, improving the quality of products, reducing of production costs, and ensuring maximum utilization of foundry capacities.

The authors present the results of the sea buckthorn breeding at the Institute of Horticulture (NAAS). The stages of the work have been analyzed – from studying and selecting the initial material in the conditions of the Polissya, Polissya-Lisosteppe and Lisosteppe ecotopes (2012-2016) to the successful targeted introduction to the Northern part of the Lisosteppe (2017-2019) and new forms have been characterized according to the traits valuable for economy and molec-ular genetic markers. The new forms of the researched crop taking into consideration the high indices of their productiv-ity,adaptivity to the unfavourable abiotic and biotic environmental factors and consumption quality of fruits for pro-cessing and making functionary products were entered officially into Genetic Fund of the Plants of Ukraine as con-firmed by the certificates of copyright and developed genetic passports. The list of these genotypes includes 1-15-1 (Nos-ivchanka, UA3700073), 1-15-8S (Mitsna, UA3700079), make form 1-15-6Ch (Aboryhen 6/11, UA3700080), 1-15-9 Ka-rotynna, UA3700082), 1-15-3 (Pamiatka, UA3700076), 1-15-8V (Soniachne siayvo, UA3700075), 1-15-11 (Lymonna, UA3700072), 2-15-73 (Morkviana, UA3700077), 1-15-5 (Adaptyvna, UA3700078), 1-15-8B (Osoblyva, UA3700083), 1-15-6 (Apelsynova, UA3700084) and forms 6A/11 (UA3700081), 1-15-5a (Sribnolysta 5a, UA3700074). The possibility of using 5 DNA markers to characterize genotypes of sea buckthorn bymeans of the molecular genetic markers was tested and evaluated in the framework of the scientific cooperation with the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It should be noted that the most polymorphic markers were HrMS025 and HrMS026. However, the marker HrMS014 was monomorphic, but appeared in all the samples, so it can be used as a reference. The best forms of sea buckthorn Adaptyvna (certificate №190899) and Osoblyva (certificate №190900) were included into the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for dissemination in Ukraine, and the cultivars of the univer-sal use Nadiina (applications №18299010), Oliana (applications №18299009) and Morkviana (applications № 20299001) and cv pollinator Obrii (applications №18299008) undergo the State strain test. The attention is concentrat-ed on the promising directions of the new sea buckthorn genotypes for the prior breeding and genetic investigations at the Institute of Horticulture (NAAS) and its network.

Introduction: Quality of life (QOL) is an important index in society that need for evaluation in all age groups people especially in medical university students as a people that their physical and mental health is related with community health. This study aims to investigate the quality of life (QOL) of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study that has been conducted on 200 students who selected by random sampling method from Ardabil medical university students. The QOL was measured by WHOQOL-BREF which its validity and Reliability were investigated and approved. This questionnaire include 26 questions in four dimensions (physical, mental, social and environmental health). Collected data we analyzed by statistical test such as t-test for compare the mean of QOL score among demographic data. Results: Of all students, 57% were male and 91.5% were single. Of all students, 56% had desired quality of life. The relationships between QOL and variables such as gender, educational level, marital status and age of students wasn’t significant. The mean difference of four dimension scores among two sexes was statistically significant. The mean of Physical health dimension score was 11.6±2.1, Psychological was 12.3±2.4, Social relationships was 13.1±3.4 and environment was 12.7±3.2. The mean of total score of QOL in all students was 12.4±2.3. Conclusion: Results showed that the QOL of all students were in high level and in four dimension of QOL the female students had significant higher score than male students.

В статье «Влияние школы здоровья на лечение пациентов на примере артериальной гипертензии», написанной интернами 7го курса НАО «Национального Медицинского Университета им. С.Д. Асфендиярова» Досмаганбетовой К.Е., Иса А.Б под кураторством ассистента кафедры ВОП2 Михайловой И.Е., представлен обзор на школу здоровья, а именно на ее часть, занимающуюся артериальной гипертензией. Собраны статистические сведения об участниках, дано определение термина «школа здоровья» и рассмотрено её влияние на качество лечения пациентов. На основе полученных данных проведен анализ динамических изменений по части грамотности населения в вопросах «управления» артериальной гипертензией, самочувствия пациентов, частоты обращения за «скорой медицинской помощью» и развития осложнений The article "The infiuence of the School of Health on the treatment of patients on the example of Arterial Hypertension", written by interns of the 7th year of the JSC "S.D. Asfendiyarov National Medical University" Dosmaganbetova K.Y., Issa A. B. under the supervision of the assistant of the GPM-2 department Mikhailova I.E., provides an overview of the school of health, namely, its department dealing with arterial hypertension. The article includes statistical information about the participants, definition of the term "school of health", and information about its impact on the quality of treatment. On the basis of the obtained data, the analysis of dynamic changes in the population's literacy in issues of "management" of arterial hypertension, the well-being of patients, the frequency of seeking "emergency medical care" and the development of complications was carried out.
