<p>Pada tahun 2012, Kota Depok memperoleh penghargaan sebagai kota <em>Information and Communication Technology </em>(ICT) dari Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika. Salah satu parameter berkembangnya ICT di Kota Depok adalah meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet dari berbagai sektor terutama perkantoran, hotel dan kampus dengan memanfaatkan jaringan <em>wifi </em>sebagai media transmisinya. Pada penelitian ini, kami melakukan audit terhadap keamanan jaringan <em>wifi</em> di Kota Depok dengan cara melakukan studi lapangan kinerja dan keamanan jaringan <em>wifi</em> menggunakan teknik <em>wardriving</em>. Studi ini mencakup sekitar 536 jaringan <em>wifi</em> di Jalan Margonda Depok. Hasil studi tersebut, kami menemukan bahwa 89% jaringan <em>wifi</em> menerapkan keamanan dengan<em> </em>menggunakan protokol WPA/WPA2, 1% menggunakan protokol WEP dan 10% bersifat terbuka. Kami juga menemukan sebanyak 20% jaringan <em>wifi</em> berada pada <em>channel</em> 1 dan 19% jaringan <em>wifi</em> berada pada <em>channel</em> 6 dan 11. <em>Channel </em>1, 6 dan 11  merupakan <em>channel</em> yang terbaik bagi penggunaan jaringan <em>wifi</em> karena terbebas dari interferensi jaringan <em>wifi </em>lainnya. Oleh karena itu penilaian kinerja dan keamanan jaringan <em>wifi </em>di Kota Depok dinilai sudah baik sesuai dengan standar IEEE 802.11i yaitu tentang peningkatan pengamanan pada jaringan <em>Wifi </em>menggunakan WPA2<em> </em>dan 802.11b tentang pengaturan <em>channel wifi </em>yang tidak menimbulkan interferensi.</p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em>In 2012, Depok City was awarded as the city of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.<em>One of the parameters of the development of ICT in Depok City is the increasing number of internet users from various sectors, especially offices, hotels and campuses by utilizing wifi networks as the transmission media. In this study, we conducted an audit of the security of wifi networks in Depok City by conducting field studies on the performance and security of wifi networks using wardriving techniques.</em><em>This study covers about 536 wifi networks on Margonda Street Depok. The results of the study, we found that 89% of wifi networks implement security using the WPA / WPA2 protocol, 1% using the WEP protocol and 10% are open. We also found that as much as 20% of the wifi networks are on channel 1 and 19% of wifi networks are on channels 6 and 11. Channel 1, 6 and 11 are the best channels for using wifi networks because they are free from interference from other wifi networks. Therefore, performance assessment and wifi network security in Depok City are considered to be good in accordance with the IEEE </em><em>802.11i standard which is about increasing security on Wifi networks using WPA2 and 802.11b regarding wifi channel settings that do not cause interference.</em></em></p>

Abstrak Teknologi Informasi bisa di lakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya yaitu melalui internet yang bisa digunakan dimanapun dan kapanpun menggunakan jaringan internet. Pemerintah Kota Kediri melalui Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil mengeluarkan pelayanan administrasi kependudukan yang dikembangkan dengan berbasis Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK), mengeluarkan program melalui media aplikasi online yaitu Sistem Administrasi Kependudukan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi (SAKTI). Kota Kediri memiliki fungsi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang berperan penting dalam masyarakat dan lebih strategis. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2013 tentang Pengelolaan Kependudukan. Pelayanan harus dilaksanakan dengan benar dan cepat agar masyarakat puas dengan pelayanan. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui Pelayanan Publik melalui Aplikasi Sistem Administrasi Kependudukan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi (SAKTI) di Kelurahan Semampir. Kata Kunci: Teknologi Informasi; Pelayanan Administrasi Kependudukan; Kepuasan Masyarakat. Abstract Information technology can be done in various ways, one of which is through the internet which can be used anywhere and anytime using the internet network. The Kediri City Government through the Department of Population and Civil Registration issued population administration services which were developed based on the Population Administration Information System (SIAK), issued programs through online application media, namely the Information Technology-Based Population Administration System (SAKTI). The city of Kediri has the function of information and communication technology which plays an important role in society and is more strategic. Based on Law Number 24 of 2013 concerning Population Management. Services must be carried out correctly and quickly so that people are satisfied with the service. Governance based on the development of information technology and innovation requires human resources who have competence in the application of Electronic Based Government Systems (SPBE), namely the administration of government that utilizes information and communication technology to provide services to SPBE Users. Strategy Improvement of human resource (HR) competence in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at the Department of Communication and Information and Statistics of West Bandung Regency is done through e-learning methods on computer network competence, programming competence and Multimedia competence. Implementation through the learning of e-learning methods, especially with the introduction of Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), obtained an average of 9.09 results, which shows that the introduction of SPBE has succeeded in increasing the competence of HR in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at the Office of Communication and Information Technology and Statistics of West Bandung Regency.

This chapter is an investigation into the effects of communication and Information Technology, the computer in particular, on our society and individual evaluating how computers may affect our life. A few thousand years ago Aristotle said that human beings are a social species. The omnipresent information and communication technology (ICT), on the other hand, has the power to disintegrate the conventional human communities into isolated individuals determining the potential problems that may influence our culture and social lives. This chapter discusses the changes that might have occurred in the society since the improvement of the Information Technology. Therefore, this discussion is an introductory investigation into such influence of ICT and its consequences on human societies.

The financial system is one of the primary users of information technology, which in recent decades has experienced phenomenal progress. This chapter discusses how information and communication technology has changed the financial system, and what policy challenges arise from the interactions of information technology progress and financial innovation. I focus on the asset management and banking industries. In the case of asset management, progress in information technology has partially transformed the industry, and potentially made it more efficient. In the case of banking, the industry has been changed profoundly, has grown significantly, but at the same time it has become more fragile. The chapter discusses the implications of these phenomena for policymaking.

Technology has become one of society’s everyday functional tools, changing rapidly and providing widespread mobility. In South Africa alone, the number of Internet users grew from 8,5 million to 24,9 million in only three years (2011-2014). Currently, 90 per cent of these users access this facility from their mobile devices. Statistics illustrate that South Africans are moving towards a continuously connected lifestyle, a situation in which information and communication technology (ICT) seems to have become ubiquitous. Given the rapid growth of ITC technology and its absorption into people’s lives (both personally and professionally), the general aim of the present research was to investigate the use of ICT among employees and how it affects their work-life interaction (WLI). The researcher employed a qualitative research approach in accordance with which a sample of 25 employees was interviewed. Interviews were recorded, transcribed and processed by means of thematic analyses. Three themes with corresponding sub-themes were extracted: use of ICT (i.e. in both work and family domains); challenges that ICT use presents; and the way in which employees manage their WLI by means of ICT. The participants experienced WLI as mostly negative. However, they also mentioned two different approaches that helped them manage interaction between their work and family domains. These approaches entail 1) applying limits to their use of ICT, and 2) using ICT to create flexibility. This article advises that organisations should consider adopting ICT to assist their employees in the management of these two domains. This could be done in two ways. First, organisations could implement a code of conduct or provide guidelines for eliminating the intrusive and excessive use of ICT, especially after working hours. Secondly, organisations could pilot or implement flexible working hours and possible telecommuting initiatives.

The spreaders of the digital economy and the techniques of information and communication technology are deployed with applications of E-commerce and E-marketing. Thus, the digital globalization opens the horizon of technological development and accelerates the growth of the use of modern techniques through the innovation of the digital economy in our daily lives. In addition, the modernization of companies in the field of E-marketing and E-commerce has a direct impact on the strategic relationship between internet users, information, technology and business. In this sense, my theoretical study determines methods and mechanisms of promotion through E-commerce and E-marketing during the revolution of the digital economy and the technologies of modern and social communication.

Computer-based information and communication technologies continue to transform the delivery of health care and the conception and scientific understanding of the human body and the diseases that afflict it. While information technology has the potential to improve the quality and efficiency of patient care, it also raises important ethical and social issues. This IRIE theme issue seeks to provide a forum to identify, analyse and discuss the ethical and social issues raised by various applications of information and communication technology in medicine and health care. The contributions give a flavour of the extraordinarily broad landscape shaped by the intersection of medicine, computing and ethics. In fact, their diversity suggests that much more work is needed to clarify issues and approaches, and to provide practical tools for clinicians.

Penguasaan terhadap Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi perlu diajarkan pada semua tingkatan agar suatu proses dan kegiatan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat, mudah dan efisien. Para siswa kelas XII SMK Taruna Bangsa dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang dapat dikuasai sebelum lulus sekolah. Salah satunya kompetensi adalah dapat membuat website atau aplikasi berbasis web. Disamping itu, kepala program jurusan RPL SMK Taruna Bangsa menyampaikan perlu adanya pendalaman dan pengetahuan lebih dalam pembuatan website selain yang dibekali di sekolah seperti mendesain website front end. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan mendesain website menggunakan framework Bootstrap. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dijalankan sesuai dengan wujud implementasi MoU yang telah dilakukan antara SMK Taruna Bangsa dengan Universitas Bina Insani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan secara online melalui media konferensi www.zoom.us dan www.youtube.com. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 78 peserta dengan hasil akhir memberikan hasil yang positif, ditunjukkan pada umpan balik peserta terhadap materi yaitu pada nilai 4 (Baik) sebesar 32,1% dan nilai 5 (Sangat Baik) sebesar 60.7%. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut kegiatan PkM ini telah memberikan kemampuan dan penguasaan terhadap siswa dalam mendesain website dan memiliki bekal dalam mengimplementasikan pada bidang Teknologi informasi yang pada akhirnya mendorong smart education kota Bekasi. Kata kunci—bootstrap, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, website Mastery of Information and Communication Technology needs to be taught at all levels so that processes and activities can be carried out more quickly, easily and efficiently. Class XII students of SMK Taruna Bangsa are required to have competencies that can be mastered before graduating from school. One of the competencies is being able to create a website or web-based application. In addition, the head of the RPL department program at SMK Taruna Bangsa said that there is a need for more in-depth and knowledge in making websites other than those provided in schools such as designing front end websites. Therefore, training in designing websites using the Bootstrap framework is necessary. The implementation of Community Service (PkM) is carried out in accordance with the implementation of the MoU that has been carried out between SMK Taruna Bangsa and Bina Insani University. The implementation of activities during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out online through the media conference www.zoom.us and www.youtube.com. This activity was attended by 78 participants with the final result giving positive results, shown in the participants' feedback on the material, namely a value of 4 (Good) of 32.1% and a value of 5 (Very Good) of 60.7%. Based on the explanation, this PkM activity has given students the ability and mastery in designing websites and has provisions in implementing it in the field of information technology which ultimately encourages smart education in the city of Bekasi. Nowadays technology is developing very fast, including information and communication technology. For that we need fast steps in following it. Information and communication technology has entered all aspects of life, including the business world. This is because the work assisted by information technology can minimize errors and even losses that will occur. Warna Print is a company engaged in the printing sector, which serves banner designs and banner printing and is currently facing problems in the field of ordering. The banner ordering system used in Warna Print is still done conventionally. For example, in recording orders, making order invoices to taking orders and transaction reports, they still rely on recording on notes. This of course can cause loss or damage to the order data and sales transactions. With the design of this application will be able to help expedite the transaction process on Color Print. The design of this application uses the Netbeans IDE with the Java programming language and the MySQL database program. This application has guaranteed security, because only owners and employees who have a username and password can access this application. In addition, the error rate in recording orders is very small, because each customer receives a different transaction number, so as to minimize errors on the transaction report.
