Penguasaan terhadap Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi perlu diajarkan pada semua tingkatan agar suatu proses dan kegiatan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat, mudah dan efisien. Para siswa kelas XII SMK Taruna Bangsa dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang dapat dikuasai sebelum lulus sekolah. Salah satunya kompetensi adalah dapat membuat website atau aplikasi berbasis web. Disamping itu, kepala program jurusan RPL SMK Taruna Bangsa menyampaikan perlu adanya pendalaman dan pengetahuan lebih dalam pembuatan website selain yang dibekali di sekolah seperti mendesain website front end. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan mendesain website menggunakan framework Bootstrap. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dijalankan sesuai dengan wujud implementasi MoU yang telah dilakukan antara SMK Taruna Bangsa dengan Universitas Bina Insani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan secara online melalui media konferensi www.zoom.us dan www.youtube.com. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 78 peserta dengan hasil akhir memberikan hasil yang positif, ditunjukkan pada umpan balik peserta terhadap materi yaitu pada nilai 4 (Baik) sebesar 32,1% dan nilai 5 (Sangat Baik) sebesar 60.7%. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut kegiatan PkM ini telah memberikan kemampuan dan penguasaan terhadap siswa dalam mendesain website dan memiliki bekal dalam mengimplementasikan pada bidang Teknologi informasi yang pada akhirnya mendorong smart education kota Bekasi. Kata kunci—bootstrap, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, website Mastery of Information and Communication Technology needs to be taught at all levels so that processes and activities can be carried out more quickly, easily and efficiently. Class XII students of SMK Taruna Bangsa are required to have competencies that can be mastered before graduating from school. One of the competencies is being able to create a website or web-based application. In addition, the head of the RPL department program at SMK Taruna Bangsa said that there is a need for more in-depth and knowledge in making websites other than those provided in schools such as designing front end websites. Therefore, training in designing websites using the Bootstrap framework is necessary. The implementation of Community Service (PkM) is carried out in accordance with the implementation of the MoU that has been carried out between SMK Taruna Bangsa and Bina Insani University. The implementation of activities during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out online through the media conference www.zoom.us and www.youtube.com. This activity was attended by 78 participants with the final result giving positive results, shown in the participants' feedback on the material, namely a value of 4 (Good) of 32.1% and a value of 5 (Very Good) of 60.7%. Based on the explanation, this PkM activity has given students the ability and mastery in designing websites and has provisions in implementing it in the field of information technology which ultimately encourages smart education in the city of Bekasi. AbstractSoket Laok is a village located in Tragah District, Bangkalan Regency, Madura. This village has the greatest economic potential in agriculture because the majority of its residents, which are around 4000 people, work as farmers. However, the village, which is not far from the city of Surabaya, is still lagging behind and has not been able to properly utilize the village's potential for community empowerment. Cashew product is the greatest potential by the residents of Soket Laok Village, but the community does not understand how to create and design proper packaging for their cashew products. In addition, Soket laok community also has no experience and knowledge utilising information and communication technology to optimalise the marketing of the cashew products. Therefore, the Communications Department of FISIP Unair conducts a community service program entitled Branding Workshop for Economic Empowerment of the Cashew Farmer in Soket Laok Village, Bangkalan Regency, Madura. This program is an extended program that has been carried out in 2020. Meskipun demikian, desa yang berada tidak jauh dari Kota Surabaya tersebut masih tertinggal dan belum mampu memanfaatkan dengan baik potensi desa untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat. Produksi mente merupakan potensi terbesar yang dimiliki oleh warga Desa Soket Laok namun para petaninya sendiri belum mengerti cara mengemas produk mente untuk dipasarkan di luar daerah Soket Laok sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku. Ditambah lagi dengan kurangnya pemahaman terkait penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi juga menjadi faktor kurang optimalnya pemasaran produk mente. Dengan berbagai alasan tersebut, Departemen Komunikasi FISIP Unair kembali mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat bertajuk Pelatihan Branding dalam Rangka Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat Petani Mente Desa Soket Laok, Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura. Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) termasuk kedalam pelayanan masyarakat yang ada di Kepolisian, akan tetapi pembuatan SKCK ini belum memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, padahal pelayanan pembuatan SKCK ini berkaitan dengan masyarakat luas. SKCK  berguna untuk mengetahui identitas yang valid tentang jati diri seseorang, serta digunakan sebagai salah satu syarat melamar pekerjaan, melanjutkan pendidikan, atau alat untuk kebutuhan yang lain kemudian SKCK juga digunakan untuk menerangkan bahwa orang yang bersangkutan tidak memiliki catatan atau keterlibatan dalam kegiatan kriminal. Pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu sistem berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak model waterfall (air terjun). Harapannya dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi ini dapat membantu Polsek Kotabaru dalam melayani masyarakat dalam pembuatan SKC, perpanjangan waktu SKCK dan juga dapat memudahkan dalam pengelolaan dan pengolahaan data masyarakat yang terlibat ataupun tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan kriminal. Police Note Certificate (SKCK) is included in the community service in the Police, but the making of this SKCK has not maximized the use of information and communication technology, even though the SKCK making service is related to the wider community. SKCK is useful for knowing a valid identity about a person's identity, and is used as a condition for applying for a job, continuing education, or a tool for other needs. SKCK is also used to explain that the person concerned has no record of or involvement in criminal activities. In this study, a web-based system was designed using the waterfall model software development method (waterfall). The expectation is that the creation of this information system can help the Kotabaru Police in serving the community in making SKC, extending the SKCK time and also making it easier to manage and process data for people who are or are not involved in criminal activities.

This research analyses information and communication technology as an effective tool and infrastructural basis for tertiary education development. The paper aimed to determine common roadmap of ICT implementation into national educational system taking into account variable factors of smart economics, global digitalisation and conditions of the international environment. Sufficient evidence of European countries’ willingness to ICT transformation is illustrated. A subsidiary objective of this research involves the building of a logical model outlining correlation between tertiary education and level of ICT access by the example of some European member states and Ukraine. Statistical data were based on variable indicators describing ICT infrastructure, education effectiveness and economics. The methodology of statistical methods and GAP-analysis was applied. This allowed revealing complex recommendations for the transformation of education into a smart education. The research highlights key considerations and important trends in the development of European education under the digitalisation.

The availability of information and communication technology (ICT) has made it a lot of convenience in everything. An example is the existence of online trading transactions, for we can market these products online both through marketplaces and social media, we must-have products that are slightly different from the others. One way is to design your own product packaging that we will sell, and for example it can be started by making a product logo. This is the basis of community service activities, and this activity utilizes the creative side of partners so that they can create a design that will be packaged in the next stage in the form of merchandise. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have proved their cost effectiveness in extending the reach of the traditional classroom education to thousands of learners across the globe. However, many questions have been raised regarding the educational effectiveness of these MOOC models. In particular, the lack of personalization, social interactions, and credibility have been cited as some of the most important factors that create uncertainties regarding the viability of the MOOC based educational models. In the last couple of decades, Web-based businesses including online retailers, electronic marketplaces and online portals have successfully integrated information and communication technology (ICT) led initiatives and evolved to become viable business models. The focus of this chapter is to analyze the challenges of the current MOOC based educational models and suggest how they can adopt ICT tools to transform into MOOC 2.0 - the next generation of MOOCs.

Along with the advancement of science and technology, all teachers especially primary school teachers areexpected to have the ability in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). In this community service activities, it is given counselingand training about the introduction of the Internet and the development of multimedia-based ICT learningmedia using Microsoft PowerPoint, create teaching materials in PDF format, create teaching materials inimage display (JPEG) and apply teaching materials in activities learning in the class. The purpose of this activity is the participants understand of the importance in using ICT for supporting learning and teachingactivities multimedia-based learning media. Participants also understand of how to create learning materialsin PowerPoints format, create files in the form of .pdf, and generate. JPG files. Teachers will also be trainedon how to enrich multimedia-based learning materials using internet access.

The concern over the likely impact of space‐adjusting technologies like telecommunications has attracted considerable attention in most studies. The focus of this paper is to examine how the proliferation of telecommunications affects intra‐urban flow of people in a medium size urban centre. This is with a view to understanding the implications of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on travel pattern in a sub‐Saharan urban centre like Zaria, Nigeria. In doing this however, attempts were made to answer the following questions: How have telecommunications substituted trip patterns in the study area? Does telecommunication usage eliminate all types of trips and to what extent has it helped to eliminate urban trips? In trying to provide answers to these questions, this study obtained purposive data from 335 telecommunication users that were carefully sampled. The results thereafter established that 76.7 % of the respondents substitute certain trips in the city and that telecommunications do not eliminate the physical movements of the residents surveyed. Furthermore, results also depict that not all trip types in the city are significantly substituted by telecommunications, rather the usage of ICT has tremendously helped to complement intra‐urban trip types in the city. The implications of these findings therefore are that with the improvement and subsequent increases in high tele‐density in the area, least‐cost travel planning will be ultimately achieved.

The rapid development of the computer world that brings every individual or group of people will use information and communication technology in every activity. Likewise in the world of education, including libraries that utilize information and communication technology in managing the process of borrowing and returning library books. The benefits of making a web-based library information system include being able to save time where there is no need for manual recording, making it easier to find book data or library members, making it easier in making book loan reports and other reports and other benefits. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The making of software is done by a waterfall model consisting of: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, and (4) testing. Then UML visual modeling is used which is the standardization of modeling language for object-oriented software development. The expected results of this study produce a web-based library information system using the YII Framework with MVC (Model View Controller) method in SMA Karya Pembangunan Ciwidey that can solve existing problems. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to build a library information system in SMA Karya Pembangunan Ciwidey so that it can present accurate and efficient information. The purpose of this research is to produce a library information system.
