The article analyzes the concept of phonetic competence. It is noted that in the formation of foreign language communicative competence, one of the components is phonetic competence. It is determined that there is no consensus among researchers on the definition of “phonetic competence”. After all, some scientists understand phonetic competence as the correct pronunciation of sounds and sound combinations, correct stress and mastery of intonation language models. Others – as the ability to normative phonetic design of personal foreign speech and understanding the speech of others. It is emphasized that phonetic competence is directly related to speech technique, the elements of which are breathing, voice, diction, orthoepy. Phonetic skills are distinguished: to pronounce the sounds of the Polish language correctly, to have a clear diction, to emphasize words according to norms, to modulate the voice, to change its intonation, to adjust the tempo of speech in accordance with the situation, listeners, the purpose of the statement, to breathe correctly. It is indicated that the effectiveness of the phonetic competence formation depends on the use of effective methods. Among the methods, the following have been highlighted: explanatory-illustrative method of learning, observation of text and speech, problem method, role playing, exercises and so forth. There have been suggested exercises aimed at formation of phonetic competence. It is noted that role playing should be used in addition to exercises. It is emphasized that conduction of Polish language classes with the use of game material activates students, contributes to high performance in knowledge and motivates to learn Polish. Rhetorical games have been highlighted – conversational games that develop skills of interpersonal and collective effective communication. The article describes the articulatory rhetorical game “Phonetic warm-up”, the purpose of which is to form the skills of clear, quick and error-free speech, the development of students' creative skills. An example of an intonation rhetorical game has been also given. The article emphasizes that when learning the Polish language, it is important to use the authentic text as often as possible and constantly work on improving of phonetic competence of future philologists.

This article covers several stages of the work of Pichon-Rivière. In the 1950s he introduced the hypothesis of "the link as a four way relationship" (of reciprocal love and hate) between the baby and the mother. Clinical work with psychosis and psychosomatic disorders prompted him to examine how mental illness arises; its areas of expression, the degree of symbolisation, and the different fields of clinical observation. From the 1960s onwards, his experience with groups and families led him to explore a second path leading to "the voices of the link"—the voice of the internal family sub-group, and the place of the social and cultural voice where the link develops. This brought him to the definition of the link as a "bi-corporal and tri-personal structure". The author brings together the different levels of the analysis of the link, using as a clinical example the process of a psychoanalytic couple therapy with second generation descendants of a genocide within the limits of the transferential and countertransferential field. Body language (the core of the transgenerational link) and the couple's absences and presence during sessions create a rhythm that gives rise to an illusion, ultimately transforming the intersubjective link between the partners in the couple and with the analyst.

This paper furthers recent research by these authors. The starting point is the pre-optimization of solid dampers, which ensures that all dampers bound to “misbehave” are excluded since the early design stage. The authors now enlarge the scope of their investigations to explore those damper configurations selected inside the admissible design area. The purpose of the paper is to present a set of criteria apt to select a damper configuration which not only avoids unwanted situations, but in addition guarantees high performance under different design conditions. The analysis starts with the definition of a set of requirements a high performance damper should meet. In detail, the present investigation seeks to answer the following questions: in the low excitation regime, what is the frequency shift and the stiffening effect each damper can provide? for increasing excitation levels, which damper will start slipping sooner? in the high excitation regime, which damper provides the maximum dissipation? Like pre-optimization, it does not involve nonlinear finite element calculations, and unlike existing optimization procedures, is not linked to a specific set of blades the damper may be coupled to. The numerical prediction of the blade-damper coupled dynamics is here used only for validation purposes. The approach on which this paper rests is fully numerical; however, real contact parameters are taken from extensive experimental investigations made possible by those purposely developed test rigs which are the distinctive mark of the AERMEC Lab of Politecnico di Torino.

The article presents the results of a study of the use of technological innovations in hotel enterprises in conditions of increased competition and an unfavorable period for the hotel business. The largest and most popular world hotel chains are analyzed. The innovations introduced at hotel enterprises are studied. It has been found that all the innovations that have been introduced in recent years are related to Internet technologies. The definition of innovation by the Law of Ukraine on Innovation was provided. The directions of basic innovative activity in the tourist and hotel business were listed. The most popular innovative technologies that have started to be used by hotel enterprises in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic are singled out and analyzed. Among the technological innovations were studied: chatbots, mobile applications for hotel chains and small boutique hotels. The introduction of digital keys instead of the use of card keys was also investigated. The novelty of the voice assistant technology, which is planned to be used by hotel rooms, was investigated. The scientific novelty of the obtained research results is the updating and generalization of information on the use of technological innovations by foreign hotel enterprises, including world-class hotel chains. The uniqueness of the article also lies in the fact that examples of hotel enterprises that actively apply this or that technological innovation in their activities were given. Thus, this information allows you to see which hotel companies are the most innovative and, consequently, competitive in the hotel market. Further research may be aimed at determining the readiness of the domestic hotel market to introduce the latest technologies, such as chatbots, digital keys, mobile applications for small and chain hotels and voice assistants in rooms. It is necessary to study especially expediently expediency of introduction of service of the voice assistant in domestic hotels, in particular in business hotels of big cities. No less carefully you need to explore the feasibility of creating your own mobile applications for small hotels.

The paper presents substantiation of the rational use of combine harvesters’nominal throughput when threshing grain crops with the yield ranging from 0.8 to 5.0 t/ha and over. The main factors that determine nominal throughput of combine harvesters and their operational indicators are identified. The structure andcontents of thetechnological passport of combine harvesters are substantiated, and the algorithm of effective determination of their key operational indicators, based on the passport, are developed. These indicators depend on harvesting technology, grain crop yield, the share of non-grain part in the threshed grain bulk, the coverage of swath headers and direct-cut headers, and the operating speed of combine harvesters. The definition of the term “technological passport of the combine harvester” is given. Maximum and minimum allowable grain crop yield is established for the rational load of combine harvesters threshing at the standard operating speed of7.5 km/hrecommended by the Ministry of Agriculture of theRussian Federation. The existing methods make it possible to determine the operational efficiency of high-performance machinery by operational costs. However, they do not take into account the shortage of human resources when determining production cost of the threshed grain. As a result of the research conducted, the algorithm and techniques of determination of actual grain cost when harvesting grain crops by direct combining and swath harvesting methods are developed taking into account the need in combines of an i-class and combine operators. Production cost of grain threshed on the area of1000 hectarescalculated by the techniques developed, allows to define the minimum estimated and actual grain cost for an i-class combine harvester by direct combining and swath harvesting methods.

The relevance of the formation of professionally and socially significant personality traits is obvious. The theoretical and practical issues of students’ cognitive activities during their studies in higher education institutions are considered. The definition of cognitive skills is formulated and their characteristics are proposed. Being formed cognitive activity characterizes the attitude of students to the content and process of teaching, the desire for effective mastering knowledge, skills and abilities. Cognitive activity is defined as the most important condition for their academic success. The ways of increasing the cognitive activity of students, both during classes and in the process of extracurricular self-training, are proposed. The importance of self-control of knowledge in the course of independent activity in the performance of group or individual work is emphasized.

Background: Learning discriminative representation from large-scale data sets has made a breakthrough in decades. However, it is still a thorny problem to generate representative embedding from limited examples, for example, a class containing only one image. Recently, deep learning-based Few-Shot Learning (FSL) has been proposed. It tackles this problem by leveraging prior knowledge in various ways. Objective: In this work, we review recent advances of FSL from the perspective of high-dimensional representation learning. The results of the analysis can provide insights and directions for future work. Methods: We first present the definition of general FSL. Then we propose a general framework for the FSL problem and give the taxonomy under the framework. We survey two FSL directions: learning policy and meta-learning. Results: We review the advanced applications of FSL, including image classification, object detection, image segmentation and other tasks etc., as well as the corresponding benchmarks to provide an overview of recent progress. Conclusion: FSL needs to be further studied in medical images, language models, and reinforcement learning in future work. In addition, cross-domain FSL, successive FSL, and associated FSL are more challenging and valuable research directions.
