The future of mobile and internet technologies are manifesting advancements beyond the existing scope of science. The concepts of automated driving, augmented-reality, and machine-type-communication are quite sophisticated and require an elevation of the current mobile infrastructure for launching. The fifth-generation (5G) mobile technology serves as the solution, though it lacks a proximate networking infrastructure to satisfy the service guarantees. Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) envisages such an edge computing platform. In this survey, we are revealing security vulnerabilities of key 5G-based use cases deployed in the MEC context. Probable security flows of each case are specified, while countermeasures are proposed for mitigating them.

The huge development of internet technologies and the widespread of modern and advanced devices lead to an increase in the size and diversity of e-commerce system development. These developments lead to an increase in the number of people that navigate these sites asking for their services and products. Which leads to increased competition in this field. Moreover, the expansion in the size of currency traded makes transaction protection an essential issue in this field. Providing security for each online client especially for a huge number of clients at the same time, causing an overload on the system server. This problem may lead to server deadlock, especially at rush time, which reduce system performance. To solve security and performance problems, this research suggests a prototype design for agent software. This agent will play the role of broker between the clients and the electronic marketplace. This is done by providing security inside the client device and converting the client’s order into a special form which is called a record form to be sent to the commercial website. Experimental results showed that this method increase system performance in terms of page loading time, transaction processing and improves the utilization of system resources.

The article describes the significance of Internet technologies (IT) in the teaching process of English as a foreign language (EFL) and reviews the researchers’ opinions on this problem. In this paper, the author considers that Internet technologies in English lessons for pupils in grades 5-7, it is appropriate to briefly dwell on psychological features of this age. In the article, a number of scientific studies in the field of computerization of learning in foreign languages have been analyzed. The article focuses on the relevance of using Internet and Information Technologies in teaching foreign languages. The author notes that employing IT will help to develop pupils’ progress in multiple skills at the same time. Moreover, the author puts forward the assumption that lessons based on the Internet and IT can help to quickly master the skills of communication in the EFL compared to traditional face-to-face lessons. KEY WORDS: Internet technologies, Information Technology (IT), Interactive technology, English as a foreign language (EFL), learning and teaching, school pupils.

This chapter explores challenges in securing industrial control systems (ICS) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems using Future Internet technologies. These technologies include cloud computing, fog computing, Industrial internet of things (IIoT), etc. The need to design specific security solutions for ICS/SCADA networks is explained. A brief overview of cyber vulnerabilities and threats in industrial control networks, cloud, and IoT environments is presented. The security of cloud-based SCADA systems is considered, including benefits and risks of SCADA migration to the cloud, challenges in securing such systems, and migration toward fog computing. Challenges in securing IIoT are addressed, including security risks and operational issues, key principles for securing IIoT, the functional security architecture, and the role of fog computing. Authors point out current standardization activities and trends in the area, and emphasize conclusions and future research directions.

The progressive development of societies and economies is marked increasingly by the growing role of digital knowledge and information technologies. With the creation of a global information space, the digitization of society and the wider use of internet technologies through traditional and electronic media, the development of e-Government is becoming increasingly popular and functional. Nowadays, the organization of public administration on the basis of electronic means of processing, transmitting and disseminating information, providing services to public authorities, businesses and citizens electronically, the information interaction of public authorities and society using information telecommunications technologies, and ensuring free access for citizens to the relevant state information, are the main components of a comprehensive transformation of governance into the e-government format.

An approach to the mathematical description of the criterion for the effectiveness of a new object of research – virtual promotion is presented in thepaper. The emergence of this new object of research is connected, on the one hand, with the classical theory of marketing, and on the other withmodern Internet technologies. Marketing is based on the 4P principle: product, price, location and promotion. Promotion is a component of thisprinciple. But in modern conditions, this phenomenon is changing under the influence of the Internet. Now this 4P component is becoming a fullyvirtual instrument. The traditional scheme of promotion functioning is as follows. A message is created to a potential buyer and the delivery channel ofthis message undergoes a change. It is based on the principle: money – goods – money. While the new sales scheme is described by the scheme: weattract a client, make money on a client, we spend money. In the new scheme, we deal with product knowledge in the form of the so-called semanticcore of web content. Knowledge describes for a potential client how a given product can cover his need for something. Using the logistic principles ofthe transfer of goods, this semantic core is loaded into the specified Internet nodes. That is, virtual promotion is formed as two channels: logistics andmarketing. The first one performs three operations: concentration, formatting and distribution of semantic cores on the Internet. The second managesthis process, forming a virtual promotion map. This map is a graph of Internet nodes. It is required to define such a tree of Internet nodes so that virtualpromotion has maximum efficiency. The paper analyzes modern metrics related to the processes of search engine optimization on the Internet.Unfortunately, these metrics evaluate only statistically after the fact of visiting a web resource or the budget of the Internet site in which theadvertising message about the product was placed. Therefore, based on the conversion metric, a criterion for the effectiveness of virtual promotion wasproposed in the work, which takes into account both the attractiveness of the semantic core and the attractiveness of the Internet site where thesemantic core will be located. The criterion reflects the income that we receive depending on the attractiveness of the semantic kernel and the Internetsite.

In the article, the authors note that at present, especially in the field of education, the already existing processes of the development of new content thinking under the influence of Internet technologies are being actualized, as well as the need to develop reflection, starting from an early age of children and in artificial intelligence. The purpose of this article is an analytical study of the changes taking place in the thinking of consumers of Internet technologies. The authors note that in the current conditions of accelerating scientific and technological progress and the development of global information networks, qualitative changes are taking place in the mental activity of a modern person. The article examines topical issues related to the development of a new type of thinking – content thinking, conditioned by web technologies. The authors examined in detail the Internet technologies Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and their influence on the psychological content of the ontological foundations of human life on the basis of the methodological principles of the consistency of determinism and development. The authors identified the main characteristics of Web 3.0 and Web 4.0 content: semantic structure, cooperativity, clustering, ample opportunities for consumer self-expression, self-developing basic personal content, self-correcting system, effective and convenient information management, accessibility, simplicity and maximum convenience, development and use additional opportunities, human resource management in the current time mode, crystallization, the presence of the maximum possible consumer protection. The authors have shown the influence of Internet technology 3.0, 4.0 on the psychological content of the ontological foundations of human life, including new content thinking. The method of such thinking is synthetic deduction and the method of developing such thinking is the method of “synergetic deduction 3.0” developed by us.
