The study area is less susceptible to technogenesis, which allows us to consider it as a «benchmark »territory for the effective protection of rare plant species by preserving natural complexes. The article provides informationabout 27 species of plants of the Mariinsky district from the Red data book of the Kemerovo region. The analyzed data ofthe scientific Herbarium of KemSU (KEM) (1964–2017), Red data book of the Kemerovo region, the online databases. The systematic, biomorphological, ecological, and horological analyses of the list of species by conventional methodsare carried out. Data on the economic value of species, as well as their distribution, limiting factors and protection in theRussian Federation, Kemerovo region and neighboring regions are systematized. The information about 6 new protectedplants and previously unknown locations for the research area is given. The main limiting factors for protected plants offlora of the Mariinsky region are ecological and biological features, destruction and change of their habitats as a result ofhuman economic activity.

Abstract The current conservation status of the rare vascular plant species and rare forest communities of the Volyn Upland (Ukraine) was characterized and analyzed. We found 14 rare plant species belonging to the Red Data Book of Ukraine in this territory (Lycopodium annotium L., Allium ursinum L., Cephalanthera longifolia (L.) Fritsch, Cephalanthera rubra (L.) Rich., Cypripedium calceolus L., Epipactis atrorubens (Hoffm.) Schult., E. helleborine (L.) Crantz, Lilium martagon L., Listera ovata (L.) R. Br., Neottia nidus-avis (L.) Rich., Platanthera bifolia (L.) Rich., P. chlorantha (Cust.) Reichenb., Galanthus nivalis L., Carex umbrosa Host) and 28 locally rare species preserved within the Volyn, Rivne and Lviv regions. The major threats for these species were indicated. Four rare associations, according to the Green Data Book of Ukraine, were studied in the Volyn Upland (Carpineto (betuli)–Quercetum (roboris) hederosum (helicis), Carpineto (betuli)–Fraxineto (excelsioris)–Quercetum (roboris) alliosum (ursini), Tilieto (cordatae)–Carpineto (betuli)–Quercetum (roboris) alliosum (ursini) and Pinetum (sylvestris) caricosum (humilis)) and their structure, main features and status were characterized in detail. The importance of further research, and the development of recommendations for the conservation and continued preservation of these forest ecosystems of the Volyn Upland was highlighted.

We present the distribution of 10 threatened or rare plant species in Serbia based on field research and herbarium and literature data. These taxa are mapped on 10 x 10 km2 UTM grids. The following taxa are analyzed: Crepis nicaeensis Balbis, Lamium hybridum Vill., Lathyrus inconspicuus L., Kitaibela vitifolia Willd., Lindernia palustris Hartm., Veronica dillenii Crantz, Cyperus pannonicus Jacq., Milium vernale Bieb., Epipactis microphylla (Ehrh.) Swartz, and Epipogium aphyllum Swartz. For each species, the IUCN threatened status in Serbia is given; on the basis of these estimates it is proposed that eight plants be included in the next edition of the Red Data Book of the Flora of Serbia.

This paper presents data on the new location of the moss Ptilium crista-castrensis (Hedw.) De Not, which is listed in the Red Data Book of the Samara Region on the territory of the nature reserve Racheyskie Rocks in the Syzran district. 10 of its coenopopulation loci have been identified and the exact geographic coordinates are given. For the first time the exact coordinates of 11 coenopopulation loci are also named for the holarctic mountain-forest relict fern Polypodium vulgare L., which is also protected at the regional level, both of these species have a mosaic structure of coenopopulations confined to confluent sandstones as a substrate for growth. It has been revealed that the ecological preferences of these species are very close, however, Polypodium vulgare is more shade-tolerant and it can be called a scioheliophyte, in contrast to the heliophyte Ptilium crista-castrensis . The Polypodium requires more humid and shaded conditions for its normal existence. When growing in the forest-steppe zone, where humidity is often a limiting factor, Ptilium crista-castrensis and Polypodium vulgare can form a significant projective cover (more than 30%) only in the northern and northeastern exposures of the substrate, but only with an enhanced light regime in the phytocoenosis at the density of the stand that is not more than 0,3.

Aim. The species Euphorbia valdevillosocarpa is listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine (2009), where it has the category of protection "endangered". It also has scientificimportance as a Bessarabian endemic on the eastern border of the range. The said species had not been observed in the lower reaches of the Dniester-Tiligul interfluves before. Methods. The floraof the region was studied by means of the route method in 2018-2020. Results. Near village Budiachky, in the valley which connects train station «Kar-pove» (Odesa-Rozdilna) and village Egorovka (on the coast of the Hadzhibeiskyi estuary), new for Odessa region locality of Euphorbia valdevillosocarpa wasfound. The place is located on the west slope, which is in the main valley. Near the site there is an abandoned quarry for shell mining. Plants of Euphorbia valdevillosocarpa were found only on the slope of the northern exposure. 20 plants of E. valdevillosocarpa were found, for each there were from 10 to 35 stems. Apparently due to unfavorable weather conditions in the region in 2020 (drought) plants are significantlysmaller in size, compared to dry specimens of stems from the previous year (to 0.95-1.00 m). The main part of the stems is vegetative, only a third part of the plants have remnants of inflorescences. On 06.2020 some specimens had re-blooming on several stems. Conclusions. The study area does not belong to those that have environmental sig-nificance.Localities of the species in Odesa region are represented only in Tarutyn` district. Thus, the locality near v. Budiachky is the most eastern point in the region. Since sozophytes of different levels of protection are also noted here, it is necessary to create a protected area.
