At the beginning of the 18th century, the Provence region was hit by several severe epidemics whose causes are still not clearly understood.To draw up epidemic profiles and to identify the pathogenic agents concerned, we constituted a large onomastic database and built ageographic information system for Martigues, a medium-sized community in the south of France. The cross-linking of epidemiological,spatial and demographical data allows us to propose a new diagnosis for the epidemic which reached Martigues in the autumn of 1705.

From the existence of objects - objects of value culture and history, especially the statues in South Sumatra Province is quite a lot in various areas in the South Sumatra. But until now there is no geographic description of the layout of objects - objects that are valuable cultural and historical especially the statues in South Sumatra. The purpose of this study is to establish a web-based geographic information system regarding the distribution of the statues so that users can access information via the Internet and direct berintraksi with the system. The system provides several tools that can be used to berintraksi with map information, zoom in, zoom out. In general, this WebGIS can help the community, and students in search of locations - locations spread of statues in South Sumatra.

Nowadays, information is an essential element in life because every human activity and business needs it. One of the essential forms of information is geographic information that is used in the field of education. Geographic information is defined as a collection of data and facts about the phenomena of the earth, land, and its inhabitants in space and time. The geographical location of the South Aceh Polytechnic student's homeland is an essential data. If this information is managed properly, the leadership can find out the distribution of data from the students' homeland. The author designs and builds a Geographic Information System to manage student data from the South Aceh Polytechnic to find out the distribution of the homeland of the South Aceh Polytechnic students.This information system is designed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter 3 Framework, MySQL, and the LeafletJS JavaScript Library. Testing the system using the Blackbox method. The results indicate that the system can run well by displaying markers of students' homeland on the map so that this information system can be utilized to determine the distribution of students' homeland effectively and efficiently.

Salatiga City is a town located in the province of Central Java. In this town, there can be found many cultural heritage buildings that were built in the mid-18th century to 1940. Potential visitors would increase easier if a geographic information system is built. Tourists who visit can access the website to select or search for cultural heritage that they want to visit, therefore the availability of a geographic information system that provides information and data on the location of cultural heritage in digital maps is needed. The system must also consider aspects of the cultural heritage rating, the price of admission, and the condition of the cultural heritage to provide recommendations on which cultural heritage to be visited. Therefore the geographic information system of cultural heritage recommendations uses the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method which can calculate multi- criteria, multi alternatives, and provides cultural heritage recommendations. This system combines geographic information system as a provider of cultural heritage information and AHP decision support system to assist tourists in choosing cultural heritage.

Abstrak Kota Lubuklinggau merupakan salah satu kota setingkat kabupaten yang letaknya paling barat dari wilayah Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. Kota Lubuklinggau memiliki posisi geostrategis dengan menjadi Kota perlintasan jalur tengah Sumatera dan menjadi kota transit atau kota pertemuan berbagai kepentingan sosial, ekonomi dan budaya[1]. Bank BRI adalah bank terbesar di Indonesia,  bank ini melayani masyarakat dalam hal simpan pinjam, dan selain itu layanan bank BRI ini adalah ATM (Anjungan Tunai Mandiri) yaitu untuk melayani masyarakat untuk transaksi Perbankan dan layanan pembayaran lainnya, dengan adanya ATM ini maka masyarakat akan lebih mudah dalam hal bertransaksi. Pada saat ini banyak masyarakat  yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mencari lokasi ATM BRI untuk bertransaksi ataupun tarik uang tunai, Sistem Informasi Geografis Berbasis Web atau lebih dikenal (WebGIS) adalah sebagai alternatif solusi dari permasalahan yang ada di Kota Lubuklinggau untuk menggambar kan sebaran lokasi ATM Bank BRI di Kota Lubuklinggau, dimana keberadaan WebGIS ini dapat digunakan sebagai pendorong bagi pengguna untuk mencari dan mendapatkan informasi yang cepat, mudah dan lengkap[2].   Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Geografis, Webgis, Atm   Abstract   Lubuklinggau city is one of the regency-level cities located in the westernmost part of the South Sumatra region.  Lubuklinggau City has a geo-strategic position by becoming a city of Sumatra's central lane crossing and become a city of transit or city meeting various social, economic and cultural interest. BRI Bank is the largest bank in Indonesia,  this bank serves the community in terms of savings and loans and besides that BRI bank services are ATM namely to serve the community for banking transactions and other payment services, with the existence of this ATM, the community will be easier in terms of transactions.  At this time, many people have difficulties in finding BRI ATM locations to make transactions or withdraw cash,  Web-based Geographic Information System is an alternative solution to the problems that exist in Lubuklinggau City to draw the distribution of Bank BRI ATM locations in Lubuklinggau City,  where the existence of this WebGIS can be used as a driver for users to find and get information that is fast, easy and complete Keyyword : Geografis Information System, Webgis, Atm

The present study aims to assess, identify and map the risk of flooding urban in the aim of protecting the city of Meknes (center of northern Morocco) from the flooding of the Oued Boufekrane which runs along the city from the south to the north. It is carried out using the tools modeling, of empirical formulae and functions integrated into the software dedicated to the systems of Geographic Information System (GIS) and by exploiting the climate data, hydrological, topographical, geological, etc. The slopes of the watershed of the Oued Boufekrane vary approximately between 1 and 19%. They allow determining the areas and neighborhoods vulnerable to the risk of flooding with slopes not exceeding the 6%. The vulnerability to the risk of flooding which requires a priority intervention affects mainly the neighborhoods located in the southwest of the agglomeration of Meknes and along the valley of the Oued Boufekrane.

<p>Erupsi Gunungapi Merapi tahun 2010 mengakibatkan banyak korban jiwa, kerusakan aset dan kerugian di berbagai bidang. Untuk meminimalkan korban jiwa, kerusakan dan kerugian, diperlukan upaya pengurangan risiko bencana (PRB). Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah program desa bersaudara (<em>sister village</em>) yang digagas oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Magelang melalui Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD). Program desa bersaudara ini bertujuan agar ada kepastian tempat pengungsian, mengurangi kesemrawutan proses pengungsian serta memudahkan pelayanan pengungsi. Program ini dapat memanfaatan Sistem Informasi Geografis/<em>Geographic Information System</em> (GIS) yang berbasis web (<em>WebGIS</em>). <em>WebGIS</em> mampu mendiseminasikan peta yang dihasilkan dalam program desa bersaudara, misalnya peta jalur evakuasi. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pemanfataan <em>WebGIS</em> dalam mendukung program desa bersaudara, dengan mengambil kasus di Desa Ngargomulyo (desa rawan bencana) dan Desa Tamanagung (desa penyangga/ penerima pengungsi). Metodenya adalah memaparkan proses pemetaan jalur evakuasi. Proses penyusunan peta tersebut terbagi empat tahap:   survei lapangan, penyiapan data spasial, coding dan publikasi. Hasilnya adalah tampilan peta jalur evakuasi yang bisa diakses oleh siapapun tanpa menggunakan aplikasi GIS yang memudahkan masyarakat pengungsi, penerima pengungsi, pemerintah maupun parapihak, mengetahui asal pengungsi, jalur evakuasi dan titik pengungsian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemetaan <em>WebGIS</em> dapat mendukung upaya PRB dengan keunggulan bisa dijangkau pengguna secara sangat luas.<strong></strong></p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: desa bersaudara, <em>sister village</em>, pemetaan jalur evakuasi, <em>gis</em>, <em>webgis</em></p>
