Today, the corporate sector features the considerably higher risks of corporate performance with the accordingly higher standards of accountability for results, which largely depend on objectivity, timeliness and comprehensiveness of assessment of the existing and expected financial performance of corporations. This enhances the role and significance of an important analytical field, the corporate activities analysis. The role of economic analysis in the context of market economy and globalization can hardly be overestimated, since the analysis permeates all the operative phases of a corporation. It precedes planning of indicators for the next period, helping organize production processes in a rational and reasonable way, improve collection and processing of information on their progress in the accounting system, assess the situation, and formulate important propositions to correct deficiencies and introduce best practices. Financial analysis is important in the economic operation of a corporation as it enables it to seek reserves to improve its financial condition; to assess the adequacy of use of all the types of financial resources; to take timely measures to improve the solvency, liquidity and financial stability; to ensure optimal production and social development by use of reserves found through the analysis; to develop plans for financial recovery. Methodology and organization of the corporate activities analysis is conditional on the organization and operation specifics of corporate enterprises. The following characteristics of a corporation are covered by analysis: economic activity; technological and organizational structure; interaction of business units within a corporation; capitalization; budgeting; integration of information system for analysis; variability in the conditions of risk. The review of studies devoted to corporate activities analysis shows that domestic and foreign experts offer different methods for analysis of financial statements, depending on the goals and objectives of the analysis, available information, technical support, the efficiency of solutions for analytical and management tasks, experience and qualification of staff. The corporate activities analysis will be more objective when new analysis concepts are adopted, focused on the future.

The question of the influence of state ownership in Russian companies on their capital structure remains open for further discussion and the conclusion has not been drawn yet. The results of the work carried out for the Russian market indicate a significant role of state participation in Russian companies [4], as well as the fact that Russian companies with state participation have significantly higher values of debt in the capital structure than private ones [33]. In this publication, to assess the role of state participation in the capital structure of Russian companies, an empirical analysis of 139 public companies for 2014-2018 was carried out. (sample presented by state and private companies) listed on the Moscow Stock Exchange. n this study, it was revealed that domestic public state-owned companies, other things being equal, have a higher value of debt in the capital structure than private ones. In addition, companies with state participation also have higher values of the ratio of long-term liabilities in comparison with private ones. This confirms the hypothesis that the activities of state-owned companies are associated with greater financial risks than private ones, especially in the long term. In this situation, it is reasonable to introduce a policy aimed at increasing the financial stability of state-owned companies, namely, to carry out activities to expand production processes at the expense of their own funds and retained earnings, and not at the expense of borrowed funds. We also obtained a positive significant influence on the capital structure of companies with state participation of such factors as the size of the company, profitability of sales, return on equity, negative influence of such determinants as the value of net assets, the asset turnover ratio, the ratio of operating expenses to EBITDA, return on assets.

Anti-crisis analytical procedures the financial stability of trade enterprises (hereinafter – AP FS) are part of the internal financial audit of economic activity. The system of financial monitoring is practically acceptable for the implementation of AP FS. The developed classification allows to determine the ability of the enterprise to implement AP FS. An analytical method has been developed that allows, based on the analysis of the financial condition and multivariate forecast, to develop measures to ensure the financial stability of the trade enterprise continuously. By interpolation, the study of the current financial situation, and extrapolation – a multivariate forecast, the numerical value of the integrated (complex) indicator that characterizes financial stability is determined by the regression equation, including factors listed in the classification, the significance of which is determined by regression equations. Based on the analysis of the numerical values of the regression coefficients, it is possible to determine the most important factors that affect the financial stability of trade enterprises, and those that have almost no effect on it. Components with significantly small numerical values of the regression coefficients can be generally discarded. This will reduce the number of indicators that affect financial stability and thus, you can reduce the number of components in the regression equation to the two three most important, which allows you to solve the problem of optimization. The expediency of using integrated and complex indicators is shown. The obtained results are only an information basis for the economic administration of the trade enterprise in making management decisions, the formation of long-term plans. The developed approaches to assessing the financial stability of enterprises are universal and can be used for enterprises in other sectors of the economy.

This review surveys technological disruption in banking, examining its impact on competition and its potential to increase efficiency and customer welfare. It analyzes the possible strategies of the players involved—incumbents and FinTech and BigTech firms—and the role of regulation. The industry is facing radical transformation and restructuring, as well as a move toward a customer-centric platform-based model. Competition will increase as new players enter the industry, but the long-term impact is more open. Regulation will decisively influence to what extent BigTech will enter the industry and who the dominant players will be. The challenge for regulators will be to keep a level playing field that strikes the right balance between fostering innovation and preserving financial stability. Consumer protection concerns rise to the forefront.

Using the Vector Error Correction Model, this research shows that Fintech P2P Lending, Fintech Payments and macroeconomic variables (inflation, interest rates and exchange rates) affect the financial stability in Indonesia only in the long term.Fintech P2P lending in the long term will lead to financial system instability, while Fintech payments in the long term have a positive effect on financial system stability in Indonesia. This has policy implications where through the role of the Financial Services Authority it is necessary to regulate and supervise P2P lending fintech. In addition, considering that payment fintech has a positive impact on financial system stability in Indonesia, through the role of Bank Indonesia, it is necessary to design policies to increase the use of non-cash payment instruments.

The article considers the problem of the functionality of existing bankruptcy forecasting models for the pharmaceutical industry, the significance of which is due to the strategic role of this industry in ensuring drug safety in Russia. In conditions of import dependence, it is possible to increase the competitiveness of domestic enterprises by investing in it, which actualizes the task of increasing their investment attractiveness, one of the main elements of which is long-term and predictable financial stability. The study shows that today the assessment of financial stability and the likelihood of bankruptcy is possible only on the basis of generalized models of domestic and foreign authors, which in general give ineffective results. This is due to the fact that standard models do not take into account the industry specifics of the enterprises in question, and therefore are not able to reliably determine the presence or absence of a threat of insolvency. An important direction in the development of the pharmaceutical industry of the Russian Federation in the current environment is the search for effective tools for economic analysis and the development of the correct adapted methodology for predicting the probability of bankruptcy.

Practice proved that the management process cannot be based on routine and intuition, but on scientific analysis, on deep knowledge of the actual situation, as well as on identifying the vulnerabilities and the development opportunities. The economic and financial analysis performed by means the net treasury has the role of using the information supplied by accounting, based on which conclusions will be drawn on the efficiency of the activity performed within an entity. The importance of the net treasury arises from the fact that it shows the amount of liquid assets of an entity at a certain moment in time, being connected to the short-term financial operations, the purpose of which is to ensure the resources necessary to finance the company’s economic activity. The net treasury synthetically reflects the method of achieving financial stability within the company on long and short term. Our endeavour ends by determining the strengths and the weaknesses in the activity of a trading company, as well as the measures that are to be applied on short and on long term in order to achieve the present objectives.
