The main purpose of this study is to answer the following question. Is there any influence on the parents' work background of the 2018 SMP national exam (UN) results? The population of this study is junior high school students who are studying in 2018, while the sample is junior high school students in grade 9. The reason for selecting samples is students who are attending the National Examination in 2018. The data in this study take the form of test scores and questionnaires answered by junior high students in 34 analysis of one-way variance, the following results are obtained. Based on the national average value, the work provinces in all over Indonesia, namely 3224331 students from 37859 SMP. Based on the results of the of parents of junior high school students participating in the 2018 UN influences the 2018 National Examination results is proven. This means that there is a significant effect (P <0,000) of parents' work background on 2018 UN results for subjects: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and Sciences, both on father's work, mother's work, or both together ( Sig. 0,000). The father's occupational background is more dominant in Indonesian and Mathematics subjects (lodging factors 0.467 and -0.218) than maternal occupational backgrounds (lodging factors are 1.261 and 0.195). The maternal occupational background is more dominant in English and Science subjects (lodging factor 0.244 and -0,054) than father's occupational background (lodging factors are 0,280 and 0,066) The conclusion is that the background of the work of parents of junior high school students has a significant influence on 2018 UN results.abstrakTujuan utama studi ini adalah menjawab pertanyaan berikut. Apakah terdapat pengaruh latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua siswa terhadap hasil ujian nasional (UN) SMP 2018? Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP yang sedang belajar pada tahun 2018, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa SMP kelas 9. Alasan pemilihan sampel adalah siswa yang sedang mengikuti UN tahun 2018. Data dalam penelitian ini berbentuk skor tes dan kuesioner yang dijawab siswa SMP di 34 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia, yaitu  3224331 siswa dari 37859 SMP. Berdasarkan hasil analisis varian satu jalur diperoleh hasil seperti berikut. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata nasional, pekerjaan orang tua siswa SMP peserta UN 2018 berpengaruh terhadap hasil UN 2018 adalah terbukti. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0,000) latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua siswa terhadap hasil UN 2018 untuk mata pelajaran: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Matematika, dan IPA, baik pada pekerjaan ayah, pekerjaan ibu, maupun keduanya secara bersama-sama (Sig. 0,000). latar belakang pekerjaan ayah lebih dominan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika (loding faktornya 0,467 dan -0,218) daripada latar belakang pekerjaan ibu (loding faktornya 1,261 dan 0,195. Latar belakang pekerjaan ibu lebih dominan  pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan IPA (loding faktornya 0,244 dan -0,054) daripada latar belakang pekerjaan ayah (loding faktornya 0,280 dan 0,066). Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa latang belakang  pekerjaan orang tua siswa SMP sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil UN 2018.

The main purpose of this study is to answer the following question. Is there any influence of junior high school student’s opinion on the importance of the National Examination against the 2018 National Examination results because currently the National Examination is no longer a determinant of graduation? The population of this study was junior high school students participated in the National Examination in 2018. The data in this study were in the form of test scores and students’ answers to questionnaires in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. Filling out questionnaires was carried out voluntarily on the last day of the National Examination, so the number of respondents filling out the questionnaire was 3.224.331 from 37.859 junior high school students. The number of respondents is the sample in this study. Based on the results of the t-test analysis obtained as follows. The influence of student opinions stating that the UN is important and not important to the 2018 UN results even though the UN is not a determinant of graduation is proven. This means that there is a significant influence (P <0,000) of the student's opinions towards the 2018 National Examination results for subjects: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and Science, (Sig. 0,000). Most of the SMP / MTs students amount to 199.222 (90.7%) stated that the National Examination was important, while students who stated that the UN was not important were 20.340 (9.3%) students. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the junior high school students’ opinion about the importance of the National Examination towards the 2018 UN results even though the National Examination is not a determinant of graduation.

Community service activity aimed to provide an understanding of mathematical concepts consists of tips and tricks to solve exam questions for junior high school students. Furthermore, the background of the implementation of this training is to get students used to solve non-routine problems found during national examination, particularly in mathematics subject. This community service was carried out from October to November 2019 with 15 participants. This activity consists of three stages starting with the field assessment, the implementation stage and the last is final stage. In the field assessment stage, the servant determines the trainees to work national examination questions quickly and accurately that is specifically for junior high school students and determine where training will be held. The second stage is the implementation stage for exposuring to rapid strategies in administering national examination, question and answer, and national examination simulation. The final stage is the evaluation stage that is an implementation evaluation of theactivities that have been arranged based on each task that has been given .Based on the training activity that have been carried out it can be concluded that the training activity adds the knowledge and skills of students in working mathematics national examination questions. In addition, this training motivates students to be more active in learning mathematics and to be more mature in preparing for the upcoming national examination. This study aims to determine the application of applied biology in everyday life by junior high school students in Tabanan District of Bali Province. The method used in this research is survey research method. Respondents who are the subject of this research are grade VIII students from 3 sample schools in Tabanan District. The three sample schools are Public Junior High School 2 Tabanan, Public Junior High School 1 Kerambitan, and Public Junior High School 2 Penebel. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire consists of 25 question items. The collected data is analyzed descriptively by presentation in the form of a complete description with visual data in the form of tables and graphs. Each question item is given a range of 0 to 5. The minimum score is 0, whereas the maximum score is 5. The total score of each student will be converted to a scale of 100. Next is determined the mean-value for each sample school. The mean grade of each sample school was then compared and classified. Categorization of the average value refers to the classification of absolute norms scale 5. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of applied biology by junior high school students in Tabanan District is still quite enough. This condition requires all of us who are work in the education sector to find solutions through further studies to a better level. Thus, the expectations of what students have learned in the field of biology are useful to them and their environment.

Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Ponorogo merupakan salah satu sekolah di Ponorogo yang mana mengajarkan gambar realis dalam mata pelajaran Seni Budaya. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru dan beberapa siswa bahwa prestasi belajar menggambar realis cenderung lebih rendah dibandingkan materi pelajaran Seni Budaya yang lain seperti menggambar kartun. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perilaku anak yang selalu membuat kesal para guru saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Sebagian besar siswa tidak tertarik terhadap pembelajaran ini disebabkan rasa jenuh dan kurangnya kemampuan mereka dalam menggambar. Melihat fenomena seperti yang dipaparkan di atas, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian “Implementasi Metode Eksperimen untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Menggambar Realis pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1  Ponorogo”. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Mendiskripsikan proses Implementasi Metode Eksperimen untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Menggambar Realis pada Siswa SMPN 1Ponorogo. (2) Mendiskripsikan seberapa besar perbedaan penggunaan metode Eksperimen dengan metode pembelajaran sebelumnya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar menggambar realis pada siswa SMPN 1 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, angket dan studi dokumentasi. Dengan jumlah siswa kelas VIII B 25 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 putri dan 8 putra, metode eksperimen menggunakan siklus I dan siklus II, didapatkan nilai rata-rata siklus I : 81,8, dan siklus II : 85,6. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen membuktikan adanya peningkatan nilai sebanyak 3,8. Dalam hal ini peneliti menemukan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk pembelajaran menggambar realis dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar dibandingkan metode yang digunakan sebelumnya yaitu metode diskusi.State Junior High School 1 Ponorogo is one of the schools in Ponorogo that teaches realist images in Arts and Culture subjects. Based on interviews with teachers and some students that learning achievement of realist drawing tends to be lower than other subjects of Arts and Culture such as drawing cartoons. This is indicated by the behavior of children who always upset the teachers while learning takes place. Most students are not interested in this learning due to their saturation and lack of ability in drawing. Seeing the phenomenon as described above, researchers are interested to conduct research "Implementation of Experimental Methods to Increase Achievement of Realist Drawing Learning at Junior High School Students 1 Ponorogo". The purpose of this research (1) to describe the process of Implementation of Experimental Method to Increase Achievement of Realistic Drawing Learning on Junior High School Students 1 Ponorogo. (2) to describe how much difference of experiment method use with previous learning method to improve learning achievement of realist drawing on students of SMPN 1 Ponorogo. This research is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. With the number of students of class VIII B 25 students consisting of 17 daughters and 8 sons, the experimental method using cycle I and cycle II, obtained the average value of cycle I : 81.8, and cycle II : 85.6. Using the experimental method proves an increase in value of 3.8. In this case the researchers found that by using the experimental method for realist drawing learning can improve learning achievement than the method used previously is the method of free copyrights.

This research aims to find out whether texts in the English National Examination at Junior High School. Conform with students' readability level or not. This research is research that uses quantitative methods. It aims to investigate the readability of the texts used in the English national examination texts for junior high school students. Subjects are 8 texts used in the English national examination texts. The instrument used to collect data is the Flesch Reading Ease readability formula. The results of the study it was found that the reading text on the National Examination test was not suitable for junior high school students. Based on the readability formula for the eight reading texts, there are 4 texts in the very easy category, in the easy category there is 1 text, in the quite difficult category there is 1 and there are only 2 reading texts that are suitable for students who are included in the standard category and are fairly easy. For those interested in studying readability, besides Flesch reading ease formula. The writer hopes this research can give more information for further research. The author expected to pay attention to producing better texts which suitable with the level of the students’ readability as the good text can help students to get a high score.

<p>This research aims to develop and quality teaching materials for mathematics student worksheets based on Yogyakarta culture in rectangular materials for grade VII of junior high school students that can be valid, practical, and effective.<strong> </strong>This research is a development that refers to 3D development models, namely: define, design, and develop. The result shows that (1) there are the development of teaching materials for math worksheets (LKS) based on Yogyakarta culture on rectangular material fulfills the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness; (2) based on the validity aspect of the math worksheets teaching materials, valid criteria were obtained which were reviewed from the material experts' assessment and it was obtained that the value is 3.1 and the results of the material experts' assessment by mathematics lectures and teachers obtained valid criteria with an average of 3.00; (3) based on the practical aspect of math worksheets teaching materials, students' responses were very practical with an average value 3.27; (4) based on the aspect of effectiveness by comparing the average value of students work and the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set by the school, the result of student value was more than the KKM. After using mathematics LKS teaching materials, 100% scored above the Minimum Mastery Criteria with an average of 88.57. The teaching materials for math worksheets based on Yogyakarta culture meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness to improve the learning achievement of grade VII at SMP IT Masjid Syuhada.</p>

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of transformation and complexity of embedded sentences. This type of research is a one-site case study. The data source of this study was the verbal text of the students' utterances. The data, in the form of accepted sentences, were analyzed by using the interactive model of Milles & Huberman. The results shows that the transformation process in junior high school students’ embedded sentences of spoken Bahasa Indonesia were included the use of TTF, TTKLesap, TTNom, TTGanKlit, TSA, TSPelFN, and TSPelFVrules. The complexity of students’ sentence is shown by the use of the seven rules of transformation in a sentence. This finding shows that the eighth grade students have syntactic competence in the transformation of embedded sentences.

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi strategi pemanfaatan Siaran Pendidikan Interatif di TV Edukasi pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Siaran Pendidikan Interaktif adalah siaran yang khusus membahas soal-soal prediksi UN yang ditayangkan TV Edukasi dan juga direlay TVRI Nasional setiap hari menjelang UN pada pukul 13.00-14.00 WIB. Siaran pendidikan Interaktif merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam mempersiapkan para siswa dalam menghadapi Ujian Nasional di seluruh tanah air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tiga SMP dengan data penelitian dikumpulkan melalu Focus Group Disccusion terhadap 11 orang guru Bahasa Indonesia dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemanfaatan secara langsung Siaran Pendidikan Interatif mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia belum optimal dilakukan karena adanya berbagai kendala seperti keterbatasan perangkat siaran dan kurangnya sosialisasi program.Kata kunci: evaluasi, siaran pendidikan interatif TV Edukasi, strategi pemanfaatan secara langsung. Abstract:The purpose of this research is to evaluate the direct utilization strategy of Interactive Education Broadcast (Siaran Pendidikan Interaktif) of Bahasa Indonesia for Junior High School Students at Educational TV (TV Edukasi). The Education Broadcast is designed and devoted to broadcast National Exam predictions at TV Edukasi which is also relayed every day by National Television, TVRI at 13:00 to 14:00 pm. Siaran Pendidikan Interaktif is a government attempt to prepare the students to face the National Exam. This research was conducted in three junior high schools with research data collected through Focus Group Disccusion towards 11 (eleven) Indonesian teachers and 11 (eleven) times of observation.
