Now it is the digital information age. With the maturity of mobile Internet technology and the increase of online education demand, mobile learning applications based on mobile Internet terminals have been vigorously developed and widely used. Blended English teaching based on mobile network technology has become an inevitable trend in College English teaching. The new teaching mode is student-centered and emphasizes the interaction between teachers and students. The implementation of personalized teaching mode is conducive to improving students' learning autonomy and innovation, it can improve the classroom teaching effect to a certain extent. At present, the post-90s college students are the pioneers of the Internet era, but also the trendsetters in the wave of mobile Internet. How to effectively apply the mobile learning platform such as MosoTeach to College English teaching is the core theme of this paper.

With the development of information technology, micro-lecture has gradually become the focus in the field of education and aroused extensive attention from educators. It will become a new kind of teaching mode and an approach to learning. Mobile learning, distance learning and online learning which based on the micro-lecture will be more and more popular in education. In this paper, the articles in the aspects of theories and practices of college English micro-lecture were summarized to provide some referential information for college English teaching reform.


With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology, mobile network data traffic presents an explosive growth trend. Especially, the proportion of mobile video business has become a large proportion in mobile Internet business. Mobile video business is considered as a typical business in the 5G network, such as in online education. The growth of video traffic poses a great challenge to mobile network. In order to provide users with better quality of experience (QoE), it requires mobile network to provide higher data transmission rate and lower network delay. This paper adopts a combined optimization to minimize total cost and maximize QoE simultaneously. The optimization problem is solved by ant colony algorithm. The effectiveness is verified on experiment.

With the development of mobile Internet technology and the advent of the information age, people's demand for mobile learning is growing and the studies on mobile English learning platform are also drawing more and more attention. In this article, firstly, the background of mobile learning is introduced and a Conversation-Activity-Distribution theoretical model, CAD, is proposed with activity theory, situation cognition theory and distributed cognition theory as the cognitive basis. Then, the students’ demand and expectations for implementation, function and content of the mobile learning system are learned by the combination of experiential researches and questionnaire surveys. A model of college English mobile learning system is proposed based on the CAD model, the overall structure of the model is discussed and its various functional modules introduced. With vocabulary learning as case design, the process design, function design and adaptive design of the system are introduced and the functional interface to the system demonstrated. Theoretically, this article enriches the theoretical basis of mobile learning and improves the methods of mobile learning system. Practically, through the studies on related learning theories, it puts forward a CAD theoretical model and carries out the case study on English vocabulary, which are conducive to the popularization of mobile learning in English learning and the improvement of teaching quality.

A predicament facing education is that the traditional teaching mode could no longer meet the requirements of modern society. The fast development of mobile Internet technology has brought online education platforms into existence, and these newborn things are very helpful to solve the mentioned contradiction. To deepen the research of the application of mobile Internet technology in modern education, this paper designed the functional modules of an intelligent online English teaching (IOET) system and implemented the proposed system. In our study, satisfying students’ learning requirements had been taken as the core principle when building the proposed system, and the database design had followed the principles of standardization, consistency, security, integrity, scalability, and ease of maintenance. The IOET system adopts a three-layer architecture, from top down, the system has a representation layer, a business logic layer, and a data service layer. The main management modules of the system include course notification module, visitor management module, and homework management module, etc. Through this paper, we hope to provide a piece of evidence for the basic research on the upgrade and improvement of intelligent online English teaching platforms.

With the progress of new sensor technology and Internet technology, wearable devices have gradually become the new favorite of the science and technology industry. They have been applied to various fields because of their wearability, mobility, user-centered, interactive, integrated and augmented reality characteristics. Given the shortcomings of traditional foreign language education at university, wearable technology is introduced into foreign language classroom as an auxiliary form of traditional teaching. This article chooses two courses (171 and 172 courses) to test whether wearable devices have an impact on college English teaching. The English level of these two classes is similar. With the assistance of wearable technology, level 171 is selected as the experimental course; 172 is a regular course, using only traditional teaching methods, and the experiment lasted for a semester. Practical teaching is also carried out in the class. Practical teaching results show that wearable technology assisted English teaching can not only improve students’ ability to master knowledge, but also greatly enhance students' interest in learning English.

With the advent of the Internet age, network information technology is rapidly entering college English classes, which fundamentally changes the mode of college English teaching. In college English classroom teaching mode, as a brand teaching form, College English multimedia network teaching environment has brought advantages to classroom teaching, but also brought about impacts on teaching concepts, teaching models, teaching methods and other aspects. There are some phenomena that are inconsistent with the reform model at the students, teachers and the environment. The balance of traditional English classroom teaching has been broken, which has affected the smooth progress of college business English classroom teaching mode reform. It is very important to analyze and resolve these imbalances and find ecological methods for optimizing university English education. In this context, the advent of multimedia-assisted education technology has provided better conditions for the implementation of Business English classroom education in universities. Multimedia-powered business English education allows teachers to create a better language learning environment in class more conveniently and quickly, helping students acquire grammar knowledge and achieve their educational objectives.

With the development of mobile technology, the intellectualization and intellectualization of mobile learning technology have greatly expanded the dimension of time and space of learning, and become a useful supplement to the traditional teaching mode. Taking College English vocabulary teaching as an example, this paper studies college English vocabulary teaching under the support of mobile technology, in order to provide new ways and methods to meet the individual learning needs of different learners. This paper designs College English vocabulary teaching based on mobile technology and puts forward a basic framework of mobile learning for college students’ English vocabulary learning. In this paper, English vocabulary technology is applied to college English vocabulary teaching. Through experiments, it promotes college students’ English vocabulary memory level, vocabulary use level and interest in English learning, respectively, to verify the effectiveness of College English vocabulary teaching mode based on mobile technology. The experimental results show that the flexibility of mobile learning can take into account the different learning needs of students at different levels of the same group, categorize and categorize the individual needs of students, and adjust different learning content and learning difficulty ladder to a certain extent. The innovation of this paper is to fully combine mobile technology with college English vocabulary teaching, solve practical application problems, and improve the application value of mobile technology in college teaching.
