<p>The purpose of this research is to understand and describe in detail and depth about 1) Planning of standard quality improvement process based on school-based management at State Junior High School 3 Singkawang (SMPN 3 Singkawang); 2) Organizing the improvement of process standard quality based on school-based management in SMP N 3 Singkawang; 3) Implementation of standard quality improvement process based on school-based management in SMP N 3 Singkawang; 4) Supervision of standard quality improvement process based on school-based management at SMP N 3 Singkawang; 5) obstacles and efforts in improving the quality of process standards based on School-based<br />management in SMPN 3 Singkawang. The approach used in this research is qualitative research using case study method. then the results obtained in this study as follows 1) Planning standard quality improvement process based on the<br />school-based management SMPN 3 Singkawang in good categorize; 2) Organizing the improvement of process standard quality based on school-based management of SMPN 3 Singkawang is categorized well; 3) Implementation of standard quality improvement process based on school-based management of SMPN 3 Singkawang is categorized quite well; 4) Supervision of standard quality improvement process based on school-based management of SMPN 3 Singkawang is categorized quite well; 5) Obstacles in improving the quality of process standards based on the school-based management of SMPN 3 Singkawang is the condition of facilities still not meet the standards, especially the land or building, the physical condition of teachers caused by the age factor but the quality improvement of educators developed through certification of educators and other activities that support the learning process as well as the establishment of harmonious relationships between schools, parents and alumni.</p>

Financing education in schools is an important thing in effort to improve the quality of education. This study aims to (1) Planning financing strategies in improving school quality; (2) Implementation of financing strategies in improving school quality; and (3) Evaluation of financing strategies in improving school quality. The research approach used is qualitative research with a type of case study research. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in obtaining data. The stages carried out in the research are the stages of preparation, implementation, and reporting. Data were analyzed by analyzing data, compiling data, synthesizing, looking for patterns, finding out what was meaningful, what was researched and decided to be reported systematically. The results obtained from this study are (1) Planning strategies for improving the quality of Sambas 2 State Junior High School compiled and outlined in the form of RKS and RAPBS; (2) Implementation of financing strategies in Sambas 2 State Junior High School using economic unit strategies, donations of school committee funds and parents of students, submitting proposals to the government and school committees and BOS; (3) Evaluation of financing strategies in improving the quality of education in Sambas 2 State Junior High School is carried out through four stages: evaluation of results of activities for a year/semester and/or quarterly, evaluation of employee performance results through programs, evaluation carried out in accordance with organizational mechanisms, and evaluation analysis SWOT includes the results of internal and external analysis; (4) Evaluation of financing strategies at Sambas 2 State Junior High School is done by making school financial reports which are divided into several items according to the technical reporting guidelines. Based on the results of the study stating that the implementation of the quality improvement strategy through financing strategies at Sambas 2 State Junior High School has been running very well and is in accordance with the principles of financial management and the process of improving the quality of the institution.

This study aims to determine the understanding of teachers and students about school-based management in the State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya. The study involved 56 teachers and 248 students as research samples. The technique of collecting data in this study is by spreading the questionnaire, interviews, and documenting the necessary data. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that teachers and students at State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya has had an understanding of school-based management which is proven by the answer of the questionnaire. Teacher understanding is in good category with a percentage yield of 71.63% and student understanding is in category enough with a percentage yield of 59.87%. In the future State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya to make more efforts to improve the quality of teachers and students through workshops, trainings, and education seminars on school-based management, so that teachers and students better understand the understanding and implementation of school-based management, so that it is created a sense of having each other in school to improve the quality of education.

The extent of the role of teachers’ pedagogical competence on the practice of school-based management (SBM) was explored in this study. Interviews have been conducted in order to collect the qualitative data from the participant in Pare-Pare, South Celebes, Indonesia. It was discovered that the teachers’ pedagogical competence has not been developed as it was expected. Accordingly, it was reported that teachers’ creativity was limited by the domination of the government’s interference. It is suggested that in order to improve the quality of SBM, teachers’ continuing professional development is highly required.

Currently, education management in Indonesia recognizes two mechanisms, namely centralization and decentralization system, in the centralized system of education administration regulated by the central government. This study aims to find out how the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya, knowing what programs are implemented in KHM NUR Junior high School Surabaya and aims to determine what factors that support and hinder the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education at KHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya. The type of research used in this study is Field Research, which is studying intensively about the background of the present state, in the interaction of a social, individual, group, institution, and society. Technique of data analysis used qualitative descriptive. The findings of this study can be concluded; first: Implementation of School Based Management (SBM) at KHM. NUR Junior High School Surabaya has been well scheduled. Second: The programs that have been implemented as the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM. NUR Junior High School Surabaya in academic and non-academic field. Third: Supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM. This study aimed to describe in depth between the link of school policy and the school quality improvement. The method in this study is a qualitative method using the case study presented descriptively. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Babat Tomat Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Based on this study it was found that the First, free school policy can help the economy / ease the burden of school costs to be incurred by the parents. Second, the policy constraints of the application for free school educa-tion at SMAN 2 Babat Toman is not very effective, so that the students' interest is not increasing, infrastructure is one of the obstacles in the implementation of free school education, how the quality of schools will be increased if it is not supported by facilities and complete infrastructure. Third, the quality of school education free SMAN 2 Babat Toman already realized well with regard to input, input turns unselected maximum, that is the students. Fourth, the implementation of free school education in Banyuasin, the quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman Muba Sumsel was not increased. This means that the implementation for free school education quality of school SMAN 2 Babat Toman was not increased.Keywords : free schools, school quality, case studies

This research is intended to search and information about the strengthening of Islamic religious education (PAI) through the recitation of furudhul Ainiyah which is carried out in Nurul Jadid Paiton Junior High School. The method of this research is by qualitative method with case study method, to express. That is more intense and deep with the above phenomenon. Technique of completion of data and information is done through interview, observation, study study, and literature study. The findings of this research are 1). Students or students are required to complete the recitation of Furudhul Ainiyah as a condition to take the odd semester and even semester exam and become a requirement for class and graduation increase. 2). the implementation of the furudhul Ainiyah memorization is performed on Thursday and Friday nights and Tuesday nights, and can also be done during normal day breaks, 3). The responsible and recipient of the rote deposit are PAI teachers and their homeroom teachers, 4). For students and students who can not read written Al-qur'an is not subject to rote burden, but get special coaching related to Al-Qur'an reading written by the religious coordinator of students. 5). Memory materials include Aqidah, Fiqih or Amaliyah materials, and daily prayers for students of VII and VIII semerter 1 and 2, while for classes IX semesters 1 and 2 cover the material of the Qur'an and Fiqh. 6). Drugs are an important component of health services that are the needs of the community. There is still a lack ofcommunity knowledge of medicines and management especially for family members, hence an educational effort as well asimprovement of quality of drug management in family through training program and mentoring by pharmacist. Thiscommunity service activity aims to determine the knowledge and attitude of the community in managing drugs in the familyand improve the quality of drug management by the community in the family. The activity was conducted in SidasariWetanKubangkangkung Village Kawunganten Cilacap. The workshop on drug management in family was conducted by pharmaciststo the 33 participants. Data collection was done by using questionnaire and observation through home visit. The result of theactivity shows that the increase of knowledge and attitude of the society in managing drugs in the familywere 10% and 7%,respectively. Workshop activities and mentoring by pharmacists can provide benefits and behavioral changes in family drugsmanagement.
