The form of this research is Classroom Action Research which it should be done in two cycles. This research has been done in First Noborejo National Elementary School and the subject of this research is fourth-grade students consists of 34 people. The data collection technic of this research is using test and non-test technic. The technic that we used to analyze all the data is quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research showing that applying steps of Problem Based Learning Model which is orientated student on the problem, organizing student to learn, guide the individual and social experience, developing and providing masterpiece of the student, also analyzing and evaluating problem-solving process, an increased student involved and science learning outcomes in thematic learning on fourth grade student of First Noborejo National Elementary School. The proof of this research’s result is the growth of students involved from their first condition (pre-cycle) which was 77,47 and categorized as less active and after using this model, for the first cycle, it increased and reached 95,44 with category pretty active. In the second cycle, the average of the student involved increased become 118,32 with category active. The student learning outcomes also increased with the first learning outcomes average (pre-cycle) is 62,17 and only 13 students that pass the test (38,23%). It becomes better with the average grades of student’s learning outcomes is 78,39 and 23 students passed the test (67,64%). On the second cycle, the average grades of the student learning outcomes are 83,29 and 28 students passed the test (82,36).

Abstract: This article discusses the learning outcomes of high school students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) approach. The purpose of this article is to describe how student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain in learning physics at SMA Negeri 2 Jember using the PBL model with the STEM approach. This type of research uses true experiment research and the sample of this study is students of class X MIPA 6 in SMA Negeri 2 Jember. Data collected through the method of Student Worksheets (LKS) and tests. The instrument used in this study was a student learning achievement test in the form of a posttest. The data obtained were analyzed using the N-gain test in order to know the increase in student learning outcomes before and after using the PBL model with the STEM approach. The results of this study is the use of the PBL model with the STEM approach can improve student learning outcomes X MIPA 6 in SMA Negeri 2 Jember.

This study aims to improve learning outcomes through the application of the Discovery Learning Learning Model in science subjects for fourth grade students of GMIM I Woloan Elementary School. The research method used was the classroom action research method. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle follows the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques in this study used student worksheets to measure student learning outcomes and observation sheets to see student activity in the learning process. The data analysis technique was performed using an assessment sheet at the end of each action in each cycle. Learning outcomes data were analyzed by calculating the percentage of student learning outcomes. The results of the study prove that using the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes on material properties of objects, as indicated by the acquisition of individual learning outcomes on average in the first cycle of 44.09% up to 83.40% in the second cycle. The results of this class action research can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve the science learning outcomes of students in fourth grade students of GMIM I Woloan Elementary School

The results of science learning on the concept of natural resources achieved by the fourth-grade students of Tarungin 2 Elementary School Students have not been optimal with the average score of students is below 65, the average score obtained by students is only 59.5. That is because the lecture method still dominates the learning process. Classroom action research aims to increase teacher activity, student activity, and science learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students with the STAD type cooperative learning model. This research was conduct in two cycles, for three months (January-March 2020). The research subjects were 16 students, eight males, and eight females. Retrievals of data using observation techniques, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique has been carrying descriptively. The results showed that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model had increased teacher activity in managing learning, student activities during the learning process, and student learning outcomes. Students have difficulty understanding the learning material, which has an impact on students' low abilities. It will have an impact on low student learning outcomes. Many factors cause students difficulty in understanding the learning material. One of the influencing factors is the learning model. This research aims to produce a new learning model development called APACIN, an acronym for the learning syntax Observe, Think, Analyze, Create, and Information. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach to elementary school students. The result of this study is that the APACIN learning model can provide alternative solutions to learning problems faced by teachers and students. Through this APACIN learning model, teachers and students can interact more, and students individually and in groups can provide solutions to contextual problems discussed in learning. In addition, the application of the APACIN learning model can build critical thinking, creative thinking, reflective thinking, and decision making in students. The APACIN learning model will make it easier for students to learn so that it will impact increasing student learning outcomes.
