This study aims to compare the factors that affect financial performance between Manchester United Plc and the similar industries by examinating financial ratios trends before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The object under study was the Manchester United football club, while the industry average used the six biggest football clubs in the English Premier League, such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. This study used a literature study method by collecting relevant data and information according to the topics discussed through various literatures. In addition, this study also using financial ratio indicators that were applied to the football industry to measure the financial performance of a football club. The data used were secondary data in the form of company financial statements from 2018 to 2020 from the company's official website. The results of this study conclude that Manchester United's financial performance tends to decrease,, especially in profitability due to the postponement of the competition during the Covid-19 pandemic. On the other hand, Manchester United's financial performance was stated to be good in terms of efficient management of employee payroll expenses and sponsorship contract revenues. Therefore, investors need to review the condition of football clubs based on financial ratios before making investment decisions on football clubs.

Financial performance is an overview of how a company's financial condition is. To assess financial performance is used with a benchmark commonly called financial ratios. Financial ratios used are usually such as profitability ratio, liquidity ratio and solvency ratio. in addition to using financial ratios, the company can also use the Altman Z-Score method to assess the level of the company's bankruptcy prediction. This research aims to find out the financial performance of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk as well as the company's future bankruptcy predictions. the research method used is quantitative analysis based on secondary data taken from the Financial Statements of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk for the period 2014 to 2019. The results of the study are measurements of the company's financial ratio showing sufficient value while measurements using the company's Altman Z-Score method show healthy value which means it does not go into bankruptcy.

This study aims to analyze financial ratios with industry standard financial ratios used in the form of liquidity ratios, solvability ratios, and profitability ratios as a measuring tool for assessing the financial performance of Ltd Unilever Indonesia Plc. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The type of data used is secondary data, namely the financial statements of Ltd Unilever Indonesia Plc from 2016 to 2020. The data source used is internal data in the form of company profiles of Ltd Unilever Indonesia Plc. Data collection techniques in the form of library research and data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive. The results show that the financial performance of Ltd Unilever Indonesia Plc based on the liquidity ratio is not good because it is still below the financial ratio industry standard. Based on the solvability ratio, the company's financial performance is not good because the results are far below the industry standard of financial ratios. And based on the profitability ratios, the company's financial performance is very good because the results are above the industry standard financial ratios.

Research on using to find out and analyze financial performance at PT Bank-PLACES to GO. In this current era increasingly many companies appear and also being so tight, so from that company (bank) earnings should improve in order to be able to compete. The focus in this study is on the financial statements of the year 2015, 2016, and 2017, with financial ratios i.e. ratio of profitability, liquidity ratios, and ratios of the banking capital. While the source of the data used in this research is secondary data in the form of banking financial reports document from the year 2015 to 2017 are on acquire from webside https://www.banksulutgo.co.id . Results of the study showed a ratio of profitability have good financial kenerja, capital ratio and likuditas ratio also has a good financial performance, though in year 2015 to 2017 rising and decline but the financial performance the bank achieve not FLAMMABLE under standard BI BI standards but so can still in good financial ratio tells me. Therefore, PT. Bank SULUTGO should further improve the financial performance of a maximum in the next year.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of UEFA Financial Fair Play (FFP) to European football clubs. Research is conducted based on Arsenal and Manchester United football clubs financial statements for 2010-2012. The study uses financial simulation to test whether the two England-based club are able to meet the UEFA FFP rules. Analyses were also conducted on the financial performance ratios of both clubs and their effects on the implementation of the UEFA FFP. The result is the two clubs can meet the standard provisions for the implementation of UEFA FFP. In the assessment of financial performance, Arsenal have a slightly better financial ratios than Manchester United. Performance aspects of profitability and solvency became an issue in the implementation of UEFA's FFP, related with debt holdings and high salaries that owned by both clubs.

This study aims to assess the financial performance of PT Martina Berto Tbk in 2014 to 2018 which is reviewed from financial ratios. Financial ratios used are liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability. This study is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are performed using documentation methods in the form of secondary data and library assessments. Data analysis techniques are used using financial ratio analysis in the form of a comparison of the company's financial ratio performance with the industry average. The results of this study show that the liquidity ratio consisting of current ratio in 2014 was above the industry average and in 2015-2018 was below the industry average, the quick ratio in 2014-2016 was above the industry average and in 2017-2018 was below the industry average, the cash ratio in 2014 was above the industry average and in 2015-2018 was below the industry average. The solvency ratio consisting of debt to asset ratio in 2014 was below the industry average and in 2015-2018 was above the industry average, the debt to equity ratio in 2014 was below the industry average and in 2015-2018 was above the industry average. The ratio of activities consisting of receivable turn over in 2014-2018 is below the industry average, inventory turn over in 2014-2017 was above the industry average and in 2018 was below the industry average, fixed asset turn over in 2014-2018 was below the industry average, fixed asset turn over in 2014-2018 was above the industry average , the total asset turn over in 2014-2018 was below the industry average. The profitability ratio consisting of return on assets in 2014-2018 is below the industry average, return on equity in 2014-2018 is below the industry average and net profit margin in 2014-2018 is below the industry average

The purpose of this study is to find out how much Return On Investment (ROI) is to assess the financial performance of PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses secondary data. Data collection techniques are documentation and literature study. Research population for 22 years from the start of listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 1997-2019. Then a sample of 10 years from 2010-2019 with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used statistical analysis with a one-sample t-test. The results showed that the Return On Investment (ROI) to assess the financial performance of      PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk was in a bad condition because it was less than 30% of the expected.

RSUD Kardinah Kota Tegal in December, 2008 has been designated as Badan Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD), then since January 2009 has done changes management finances, with the financial management apply system that is called “Pola Pengelolaan Keuangan Badan Layanan Umum Daerah” (PPK – BLUD). This study aimed to analyze the diffrerences in financial performance RSUD Kardinah based on (1) the ratio of the vulnerability, the aspects of return of assets, return on equity, gross profit margin and net profit margin. (2) liquidity ratios include aspects of current ratio, quick ratio and cash ratio (3) solvency ratios include aspects of debt ratios, debt to equity ratio and times interest earned ratio, and (4) the ratio of activity includes aspects of accounts receivable turn over, inventory turn over, fixed assets and total assets turn over before and after implementing PPK-BLUD. This study classified quantative descriptive research the type of data used is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of RSUD Kardinah, the period before implementing ppk – blud (2002 – 2008) and after implementing ppk – blud (2009 – 2015). The analytical method used is a diferrent test to test the hypothesis using wilcoxon test with an error rate (alpha) of 5%. The result of this study conclude, there are no significant differences in financial performance based suspectible ratio, liquidity ratio and activity ratio on RSUD Kardinah before and after implementing of PPK-BLUD. There are significant differences in the aspect ratio of the activity inventory turn over snd fixed assets turn over before and after implementing of PPK – BLUD. The implementation of the PPK – BLUD in hospitals Kardinah not give any significant changes to be seen from the ratio financial ratio, but there is an increase in the trend sharp against the income operations hospital after the implementation of PPK – BLUD. Competition in the business world is increasingly competitive, so that companies are required to be able to control business activities better than competing companies. The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in terms of financial ratio analysis. The financial ratios used are liquidity ratios, solvability ratio, and profitability ratio. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative research. The research data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this study can be seen from the calculation of the liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, and profitability ratio at PT Indosat Tbk, PT XL Axiata Tbk, and PT Smartfren Tbk from 2017-2019 showing poor performance, while the solvency ratio and Net Profit Margin at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk is already in good condition. The measurement of financial performance based solely on balance sheet financial statements and profit and loss is able to provide information on the feasibility of a company on the obligations of external parties and also assets owned by the company. From the results of financial statement analysis using financial ratio analysis of PT. PLN (Persero)Region  Sulutttenggo can evaluate the financial performance of companies that show unfavorable conditions where the value of the liquidity ratio is less stable and even decreases. Whereas the results of the calculation of leverage ratio and profitability ratio show fairly good conditions. This study aimed to describe and compare the company's financial performance as measured by the method of Economic Value Added (EVA) is a new approach which assesses the company's financial performance by taking into account the expectations of donors, particularly shareholders and creditors. Financial Ratios and analysis to assess the company's financial situation in the past, present and future. The research object is a cigarette company listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2012 - 2014, that are PT. Gudang Garam Tbk, PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk, PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk, and PT. Wismilak Inti Makmur, Tbk. This type of research is comparative descriptive, while the data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Results of financial ratios calculation fluctuated every company each year. In the EVA calculation are the average of 2012 - 2014, PT. HM Sampoerna Tbk has the highest EVA value, then PT. Gudang Garam Tbk, hereinafter PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk and last PT. Wismilak Inti Makmur, Tbk. EVA is always positive (EVA> 0) in 2012-2014 means that the management company is able to create economic value for shareholders, and of course the company's financial performance is also good.Keywords: financial performance, financial ratios, EVA
