This study is aimed to find out an alternative strategies of creative industry development of pearl jewelry craft sector in Mataram city. The research uses descriptive research design. The data collected by interview and observation methods which is analyzed by using Internal Factor Analysis (IFE), External Factor Analysis (EFE), and SWOT analysis. The results shows that the internal environment of the industry has a strong position where the strength has a total value of 2.46 compared to the weakness of 0.64. The industry’s position of the outside environment also has strong position where the industry ‘s opportunity has a total value of 1.80 versus threat 1.04. Based on the value of IFE and EFE can be obtained coordinate point in the axis system is 0.91,0.38. The main method of this article is a review of the relevant literature and documentation were analyzed using analysis of internal factors (Internal Factor Analysis Summary), the analysis of external factors (External Factor Analysis Summary) and SWOT analysis.

The aim of being able to see what development strategies are suitable for mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City. The research objective was to see the strategy for developing mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City with a SWOT analysis. The data collection used was a questionnaire method with a list of questions to the respondents. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis to see internal factors and external factors, which will then be entered into the SWOT matrix. The research results obtained from the analysis of internal factors and external factors. The result of the internal factor is a strength (strength) of 2.75 while the weakness (weakness) is 1.46, so the value of the internal factor is 2.75-1.46 = 1.29 while from the external factor the opportunity (opportunity) is 2 , 52 and for the threat (threat) is 1.58, the value of the external factor is 2.52-1.58 = 0.94. Based on the analysis diagram, the SWOT strategy is in the Cell (quadrant) I position. This shows that the SO strategy in the SWOT matrix is an aggressive strategy. This strategy explains that Kampung Sejahtera mangrove tourism can take advantage of the surrounding environment. The environment around mangrove tourism is still natural so that it is very likely for the community to add stages such as trading, opening food stalls, and lodging businesses around the mangrove tourism of Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, and Utilizing mangrove forests so as not to abrasion around mangrove tourism Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, which makes the tourist area safe and tourists who visit are comfortable and not worried about abrasion

In a very competitive market conditions the company must have a thorough understanding about the condition of its internal and external of the company to determine an appropriate strategy. This research aims to know the proper competitive advantage strategies for PT Semen Tonasa is done by. Descriptive research is done by collecting data through observation, FGD and interviews. After IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) and SWOT analysis, PT Semen Tonasa should focus their efforts on pursuing growth. Based on the analysis of the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) retrieved the right strategy to do is market penetration. PT Semen Tonasa should increase market share in the area of the market with a hefty profit margin do cost efficiency in every stage of the production process.

<p>Batu Rongring Ecotourism is in the buffer zone of National Park of Gunung Leuser (TNGL). The uniqueness of ecosystems, customs, and flora of the flora makes Batu Rongring Ecotourism interesting to visit. Batu Rongring Ecotourism Planning and Development must be in accordance with the characteristics and potential of the Natural Attraction Attraction (ODTWA) in Batu Rongring. This study aims to analyze landscape planning in developing Batu Rongring ecotourism as a buffer for TNGL. ODTWA potential analysis for the Rongring Stone Development Strategy uses internal factor analysis (IFAS), external factors (EFAS) and SWOT Analysis. Landscape planning is done by involving stakeholders in the Forum Group Disscusion (FGD). The results of the assessment in the development of Batu Rongring Ecotourism is known the value of IFAS = 2.71 which makes the strategy in the development of Rongring Stone is the strength and the value of EFAS = 3.33 establishes the strategy used in developing the Rongring Stone is an opportunity. Batu Rongring Ecotourism has ODTWA that can be developed. Potential ODTWA found in Batu Rongring are: Sei Musam River, Flora fauna, Community huts, Customs, Caves. Batu Rongring Ecotourism development strategies are: Nature Tourism Attraction, Tourism Cooperation, Ecotourism Training, Capital, Sarpras, Economic Tourism, Traditional Tourism, Perdes, Online Promotion.</p>

This study aims to analyze the internal and external conditions as well as compose and recommend the business development strategy of agro-industries of Civet coffee at Satria agro- tourism in the Gianyar Regency. The methods used in this research is a method of observation field and in-depth interviews using questionnaire. Data field observations and interviews are then analyzed to obtain formulation strategies using the SWOT analysis. The assessment weighting and rating conducted by 5 experts. Results of the study show that there are 5 strengths, 5 weaknesses, 4 opportunities, and 3 threats. Results weighting and rating values for the matrix that the weighted Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) was 3.72 and matrix External Factor Evaluation (EFE) is 3.75. This value indicates a strong position on the matrix Internal external (IE) and the strategy to do is intensive and integrative strategies. Based on SWOT Matrix Analysis, priority alternative strategy is maintaining of price and quality to expand marketing. Keywords : strategy, SWOT, agro tourism, civet coffee, QSPM

<p><em>Research on Virgin Beach Development as a marine tourism attraction in Bugbug village Karangasem is related to the process of developing a marine tourism destination. Marine tourism is a potential form of tourism, including in "clean industry" activities. Because it utilizes coastal areas and oceans directly or indirectly. Direct activities include boating, swimming, snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Indirect activities such as beach sports activities, picnics, enjoy the ocean atmosphere. Virgin Beach is one of the beaches in Karangasem precisely in the village of Bugbug which has the potential to be developed into a marine tourism. This is because Virgin Beach provides its own uniqueness with beautiful nature, white sand is an atmosphere that is still natural so many tourists who visit marine activities on the beach.</em></p><p><em>The issues studied include: (1) What potentials does Virgin Beach have to develop as a marine tourism attraction in Bugbug village Karangasem? (2) How are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the community in developing Virgin Beach as a marine tourism attraction in Bugbug village Karangasem? (3) How is the strategy of developing virgin beach as a tourist attraction in Bugbug village Karangasem. </em><em>The above problems were studied with several theories. The theory used is the theory of planning and development theory of tourism area. In addition, in obtaining the data used several methods, namely the method of observation, interview and documentation and elaborated with descriptive method, so obtained a thorough conclusion. This type of research is which uses quantitative and and analyzed descritif qualitative, SWOT using External Factor Analysis Summary matrix and Internal Factor Analysis Summary.</em></p><p><em>The potential of Virgin Beach is its natural and cultural potential. The natural potential consists of natural beauty such as white sand, Kuhan island, cliffs surrounding it and cultural potentials such as the presence of gambelan and some preserved dances. From the potential gained then described the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats encountered and developing Virgin Beach as a tourist attraction nautical. These strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are analyzed by the External Factor Analysis Summary matrix and Internal Factor Analysis Summary to determine the development strategy for the next.The strategy chosen is the strategy of natural resource maintenance, human resource development strategy and market penetration.</em></p>

In the development of industrial area, the first step needed is to find out about the current conditional supportiveness on the smallest area unit. In terms of Regency or Municipality, its smallest unit is Subdistrict. The setting of this study is Bangkalan Regency while its smallest area units studied are the Subdistricts of Kamal, Labang, Kwanyar, Modung, Tanah Merah, Tragah, Socah and Burneh. Why these Subdistricts are chosen is because of their common access from Kamal harbor and Suramadu Bridge. The method used is SWOT analysis which considering internal factor constructed in IFAS (Internal Strategic Factor Analysis Summary) table and external factor constructed in EFAS (External Strategic Factor Analysis Summary) table.The highest IFAS values are Kamal’s and Modung’s, while EFAS values are assumed to be equal because the competitors condition are relatively similar. Based on IFAS and EFAS values, the quadrant position will be derived in SWOT matrix whose x axis is IFAS and y axis is EFAS. There are 4 quadrants in SWOT matrix, they are S-O (Strengths – Opportunities), W-O (Weakness – Opportunities), S-T (Strengths - Threats), and W-T (Weakness – Threats). The results of this current study suggest that from 8 Subdistricts we studied, there are 7 (seven) Subdistricts in S-O quadrant and 1 (one) in W-O quadrant. Based on the position of these subdistricts in SWOT quadrant, the appropriate strategy for each Subdistrict in developing their area in order to support the development of industrial area will be determined.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine alternative strategies in the development of bamboo handicrafts business in Pasirjambu Village Pasirjambu District in Bandung Regency. Method used survey with SWOT analysis. The results show that the total value obtained from the IFAS table is 6.40 (average 3.20) with a strength score of 3,550 and the weakness score of 2.850, it shows that the strength factor of the bamboo handicraft business is greater than the weakness factor, while the total value EFAS of 6.10 (average 3.05). A opportunity score of 3.10 and a threat score of 3.0. This means that the opportunity factor is greater than the threat factor. The result of calculation of rating value and internal factor weight of bamboo handicraft business development strategy in Pasirjambu Village as X axis equal to 0,100, while external factor as Y axis equal to 0,700. This means the right alternative strategy is the SO strategy. Hasil, menunjukkan bahwa total nilai yang diperoleh dari tabel IFAS  adalah 6,40  (rata-rata 3,20) dengan skor kekuatan 3,550 dan skor kelemahan sebesar 2,850, ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan usaha kerajinan bambu lebih besar dari faktor kelemahan, sedangkan total nilai EFAS yaitu sebesar 6,10 (rata-rata 3,05).  Skor peluang 3,10 dan skor ancaman sebesar 3,0. Artinya faktor peluang yang dimiliki lebih besar dari faktor ancaman. Hasil perhitungan nilai rating dan bobot faktor internal dari strategi pengembangan usaha kerajinan bambu di Desa Pasirjambu sebagai sumbu X sebesar 0,100, sedangkan faktor eksternal sebagai sumbu Y sebesar 0,700. Artinya strategi alternatif yang tepat adalah strategi SO. Strategi SO adalah strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Kata kunci : Kerajinan bambu, perajin bambu, analisis SWOT

The highest IFAS values is Subdistrict Ponggok, while the highest EFAS values is Kademangan. Based on IFAS and EFAS values, the quadrant position will be derived in SWOT matrix whose x axis is IFAS and y axis is EFAS. There are four quadrants in SWOT matrix, they are S-O (Strengths – Opportunities), W-O (Weakness-Opportunities), S-T (Strengths-Threats), and W-T (Weakness-Threats). The results of this current study suggest that from 22 Subdistricts we studied, there are ten Subdistricts in S-O quadrant, two in W-O quadrant, five in  S-T quadrant and five in W-T quadrant. Based on the position of these Subdistricts in SWOT quadrant, the appropriate strategy for each Subdistrict in developing their area in order to support the development of industrial area will be determined.
