The purpose of the article is to form the main directions of improving the financial condition of the business entity in modern conditions. Methodology. Methods of theoretical generalization and concretization, Internet resources have been used in this study. Results. Groups of users of information concerning the financial condition of the enterprise are selected. The first group includes creditors, investors, competitors, regulators, and other users, and the second – the company's management, economic and other interested internal services, shareholders, etc. For each of these users, certain selected metrics are important. A technique for determining the significance of indicators for a particular group of users, which involves the use of economic and mathematical methods and models, is developed. In order to make certain management decisions, the analysis should be carried out according to the indicators required by the management and, accordingly, will be implemented in the management practice of Khmilnytske LLC. The sequence of assessment of the financial condition by economic and mathematical methods is determined. Having chosen the direction of research of indicators and having carried out their corresponding calculations, it is possible to carry out the analysis of factors of influence on the financial position of the investigated business entity and to calculate reserves of its improvement. To do this, it is advisable to use the procedures of correlation and regression analysis. The content of these procedures is to determine the impact on the financial condition of each of the elements of the formulas of coefficients or other indicators. A set of factors influencing the formation of economic strategy of agricultural enterprises is divided into two groups, namely exogenous and endogenous. The leading system ensuring the enterprise solvency has been developed. Software for the financial condition analysis at the enterprise is proved. Practical implications. The developed system takes into account the available initial data (financial statements and software) and significantly reduces the cost of working time for analysis, which speeds up the management decision-making process and allows you to respond quickly to changes in asset structure to improve efficiency and improve business subject efficiency. Value/originality. The developed model of the analysis of a financial condition with the use of economic and mathematical methods which is sufficiently adapted for automation will provide, provided its introduction in analytical practice, a high level of optimality of operative administrative decisions, and also will increase the efficiency of agricultural enterprises.

The method of assessing the impact of factors of diff erent nature on the components of the city’s living environment that determine favorable living conditions and the well-being of the population is considered. It is statistically established that the variety of factors should be taken into account when assessing and normalizing the combination of multifactorial impacts on demographic and social processes occurring in the urban environment. Combinations of the most signifi cant interacting factors and statistical models based on them can be taken into account when predicting the level of morbidity, the dynamics of migration processes, the family well-being of the population, and others. The developed models and assessment methodology can serve as a tool to support management decision-making to ensure a high level of quality of life of the population and urban development of residential areas.

Subject. When evaluating enterprises, maximum accuracy and comprehensiveness of analysis are important, although the use of various indicators of organization’s financial condition and external factors provide a sufficiently high accuracy of forecasting. Many researchers are increasingly focusing on the natural language processing to analyze various text sources. This subject is extremely relevant against the needs of companies to quickly and extensively analyze their activities. Objectives. The study aims at exploring the natural language processing methods and sources of textual information about companies that can be used in the analysis, and developing an approach to the analysis of textual information. Methods. The study draws on methods of analysis and synthesis, systematization, formalization, comparative analysis, theoretical and methodological provisions contained in domestic and foreign scientific works on text analysis, including for purposes of company evaluation. Results. I offer and test an approach to using non-numeric indicators for company analysis. The paper presents a unique model, which is created on the basis of existing developments that have shown their effectiveness. I also substantiate the use of this approach to analyze a company’s condition and to include the analysis results in models for overall assessment of the state of companies. Conclusions. The findings improve scientific and practical understanding of techniques for the analysis of companies, the ways of applying text analysis, using machine learning. They can be used to support management decision-making to automate the analysis of their own and other companies in the market, with which they interact.

ABSTRACTAimTo provide preliminary high-level modelling estimates of the impact of denicotinisation of tobacco on changes in smoking prevalence in Aotearoa New Zealand (NZ).MethodsAn Excel spreadsheet was populated with smoking/vaping prevalence data from the NZ Health Survey and business-as-usual trends projected. Using various parameters from the literature (NZ trial data, NZ EASE-ITC Study results), we modelled the impact of denicotinisation of tobacco (with no other tobacco permitted for sale) out to 2025, the year of this country’s Smokefree Goal. Scenario 1 used estimates from a published expert knowledge elicitation process, and Scenario 2 considered the addition of extra mass media campaign and quitline support to the base case.ResultsWith the denicotinisation intervention, adult daily smoking prevalences were all estimated to decline to under 5% in 2025 for non-Māori and in one scenario for Māori (Indigenous population) (2.5% in Scenario 1). However, prevalence did not fall below five percent in the base case for Māori (7.7%) or with Scenario 2 (5.2%). In the base case, vaping was estimated to increase to 7.9% in the adult population in 2025, and up to 10.7% in one scenario (Scenario 1).ConclusionsThis preliminary, high-level modelling suggests a mandated denicotinisation policy for could provide a realistic chance of achieving the NZ Government’s Smokefree 2025 Goal. The probability of success would further increase if supplemented with other interventions such as mass media campaigns with Quitline support (especially if targeted for a predominantly Māori audience). Nevertheless, there is much uncertainty with these preliminary high-level results and more sophisticated modelling is highly desirable.

There is a high level of interest and debate among academics and the business community regarding the future of electronic business. In recent times there has been considerable disillusionment with the losses and negative returns associated with many e-business investments. However, the move towards e-business enablement seems inevitable for reasons of efficiency and effectiveness. Developments in e-business should be of considerable interest to marketing strategists, as they impact on business networks and affect the nature of relationships between organisations and between an organisation and its customers. Business and marketing strategists would benefit from a better understanding of the incentives and inhibitors accruing at each stage of the evolutionary path to an e-business enabled future. Based on recent research, this paper proposes the use of two frameworks that may be used to stimulate management discussion, aid management decision-making and plan progressive moves into e-business.
