Data management is very necessary in an institution to facilitate data processing. One of them is Islamic education institutions or Islamic boarding schools that have developed nformation systems for Islamic boarding school. In building a boarding school information system, applications and data are needed. Data architecture obtained from a hierarchy of information systems consisting of executive information systems, management informations systems, and transaction processing systems. Architecture design of information systems for Islamic boarding school is done by building an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) from a collection of data needed on boarding school information systems. ERD is a database building model by describing relations between database entities.

Abstract— The existence of inventory in business activities cannot be avoided. One of the main causes is that products cannot be obtained instantly, but it takes times to get. Lack of good information design and lack of communications led to the delivery of raw materials documents in warehouses often hampered because the system manually logs. It became necessary to design new information systems to facilitate all these activities.Warehousing information system is a system that has been computerized with the database. The research phase begins with an analysis of the current system of warehousing conditions. The goal is to identify the needs of the warehousing system. The next stage is system design. The design phase includes Flowmap, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram, and database design using software package xampp and MySQL. The database there are six tables namely, data tables of goods, purchase of goods, delivery of goods, purchasing, suppliers and production tables that have been integrated with all the parts in the company. The result is efficient working time and facilitate the user in input or obtain the required data. Non-functional needs should also be available. The need is minimal computer Dual core with minimal windows operating system 2000 with software package xampp, microsoft acsses, mozila firefox and printer and need to be carried out researcher use technology RFId. Keywords: Warehousing; database; information Systems.

The purpose of this study is to determine the degree of importance of each topic included in the Accounting Information Systems (A IS) course from the practitioners' point of views. This study was motivated by the increasing progress in information technology which proposed to re-examine the AIS course in order to meet the expectations and requirements of the profession. Three hundred and forty (340) questionnaires were sent to three different groups of companies namely public accounting firms, industry and commerce, and banking and finance. The response rate received is 22.35%. Respondents' opinions on the importance of AIS topics were measured using a five-point Liken scale. Results from the mean analysis showed that practitioners in Malaysia perceived all AIS topics listed as important. However, results from ANOVA analysis indicated that .five ( 5) topics were perceived significantly different among the three groups of practitioners. The five topics are general concept of accounting information systems, procurement cycle, application software, entity-relationship diagram and programming languages. Further analysis using Scheffe test indicated that procurement cycle and entity-relationship diagram topics differ significantly between Industry and Commerce and Banking and Finance. Public Accounting Finns and Industry and Commerce differ significantly in the application software topics. There were significant differences between all the three groups in programming languages.

Kerangka kerja SIE akademik ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan SIE akademik  di perguruan tinggi swasta di Palembang.</p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em>Private universities in Palembang are building their own EIS / executive information systems and a guide is not used as a reference, although it is known that the business process of academic information systems in universities is generally the same. Based on the observations, there is no scientific EIS framework and it can be used as a guide to build the academic EIS. The purpose of this research is to design the scientific structure of the EIS, taking into account the various factors and problems encountered. Another factor, the scientific structure of the EIS that will be created, must be dynamic, which can be modified according to the conditions and needs of the university. This study uses the EAP (Enterprise Architecture Planning) methodology to analyze and build an academic EIS framework. The results of this study are system structures in the form of data architecture and application architecture. The scientific framework of the EIS serves as a guide for the planning and development of the academic EIS in the private universities of Palembang.</em></p><p><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

FOOM is an integrated methodology for analysis and design of information systems, which combines the two essential software-engineering paradigms: the functional- (or process-) oriented approach and the object-oriented (OO) approach. In FOOM, system analysis includes both functional and data modeling activities, thereby producing both a functional model and a data model. These activities can be performed either by starting with functional analysis and continuing with data modeling, or vice versa. FOOM products of the analysis phase include: a) a hierarchy of OO-DFDs (object-oriented data flow diagrams), and b) an initial object schema, which can be created directly from the user requirements specification or from an entity-relationship diagram (ERD) that is mapped to that object schema. System design is performed according to the OO approach. The products of the design phase include: a) a complete object schema, consisting of the classes and their relationships, attributes, and method interfaces; b) object classes for the menus, forms and reports; and c) a behavior schema, which consists of detailed descriptions of the methods and the application transactions, expressed in pseudo-code and message diagrams. The seamless transition from analysis to design is attributed to ADISSA methodology, which facilitates the design of the menus, forms and reports classes, and the system behavior schema, from DFDs and the application transactions.

Food sensory analysis is the terms from the field of Food Technology that has a meaning which means sensory evaluation of food that is conducted by the food sensory evaluators. Currently, food sensory analysis is conductedmanually. It can caus e human errors and consume much ti me. The objective of this research is to build a web based application that is specific for food sensory analysis using PHP programming language. This research followsfour first steps of waterfall software engineering mod el which are user requirements ana lysis (user software and requirements analysis), system design (activity, use cases, architecture, and entity relationship diagram),implementation (software development), and testing (software unit, functionality, validit y, and user acceptance testing). T he software result is well built. It is also acceptable for users and all functionality features can run well after going through those four software testing. The existence of the software brings easiness to deal with the manual food sensory analysis exper iment. It is considered also for the future it has business value by having open source and premium features.
