Background: Various modifications of the coronally displaced flap have been proposed in the literature with the attempt of treating gingival recession. This study is undertaken to evaluate the predictability of the modified coronally positioned flap in isolated gingival recession not only in terms of root coverage but also with the esthetic outcome. Materials and Methods: Fifteen isolated gingival recessions with at least 1mm of keratinized tissue apical to the defect were treated with a modified coronally advanced flap. All recessions fall into Miller class I. The clinical re-evaluation was performed 3 months and 1year after the surgery. Statistical analysis was performed using statistical application software (SPSS16.0). Multivariate ANOVA was used for analysis. Results: At the 1-year examination, the average root coverage was 94.6% of the pre-operative recession depth. There was a mean clinical attachment gain of 3.3±0.1 mm at 1 year follow-up.The average increase of keratinized tissue between the baseline and the 1-year follow-up amounted to 1.53±0.13 mm. Root coverage esthetic score (RES) was recorded at the end of follow-up period. 13/15 cases showed RES score of 9 and 2/15 cases showed RES score of 6. Conclusion: The modified coronally advanced surgical technique is effective in the treatment of isolated gingival recession in the upper jaw.

The aim. The study of formulas determination of the point coordinates by the inverse linear-angular intersection method. Previously, we investigated the possibility of using electronic total stations to control the geometric parameters of industrial buildings. The applied application of electronic total stations for high-precision measurements has been investigated as well. [Vivat, 2018]. The formula for optimal use of the device with certain accuracy characteristics relative to the measured basis is analytically proved and derived [Litynskyi, 2014]. Measurements on the basis of the II category are performed and theoretical calculations are confirmed. The possibility of achieving high accuracy in determining the segment by the method of linear-angular measurements is shown [Litynsky, 2015]. The influence of the angle value on the accuracy of determining the coordinates by the sine theorem is investigated and the possibility of optimizing the determination of coordinates by the method of inverse linear-angular serif by the formulas of cosines and sines is investigated [Litynskyi, 2019]. Method. Establishing a mathematical interconnection between measured values (distances and angles) with the required (flat coordinates of a point), differentiation and finding the minima of functions. Results. There were five formulas selected, of which six combinations had been created to calculate the increments of coordinates and to estimate their accuracy. Numerical experiments show that neither method has a significant advantage, which is supported by the results presented in the graphs and tables. It is worth noting one feature of the second method - in which it is possible to determine the increments of coordinates with an accuracy that exceeds the accuracy of measuring the sides. The possibility of optimizing the coordinate increments determination due to the choice of calculation formulas is considered. The possibility of increasing the accuracy of determination of the coordinates increments using different calculation formulas is researched. Consequently, it is suggested to optimize the choice of calculation formulas depending on the position of the desired point. The results of these studies can be used to create electronic total station or laser tracker application software in order to improve the accuracy of coordinate determination.

The research on the development of "Listening" practice using Text2Speech Applications aims to develop teaching of English, ‘Listening’ for teachers and students who are not experts in the field of information technology. This study tries to discuss how to adopt and adapt Text-to-Speech software / applications in teaching and learning of English. Text2Speech is a computer application (software) that makes it possible to convert written text into spoken text so that it can be heard. By using the Text2Speech application, written text in MS Word format can be converted into spoken text. Text2Speech allows any text to be read in a computer-synthesized voice. By utilizing Text2Speech, written text can be read and sounded so that it can be heard by the user. Text2Speech allows users to determine how to pronounce a word, phrase, sentence, and even text or parts of text. By utilizing the Text2Speech application, teachers and students get "listening" learning materials in native speakers' voices, so that students get used to hearing "listening" teaching materials from native speakers.

There is an ongoing threat of control interception in mission-critical systems (MCS). Specific examples of such incidents are presented, one of them is the massive power outages in Venezuela. We specify the reasons for creating an approach to developing digital control systems for MCS resistant to control interception and abnormal functioning. This technology is based on the digital twin concept. A twin represents all the hardware and software components, as includes smart tools for the hardware, core and application software self-monitoring and self-correction.

Autism-assistive apps offer therapists and caregivers new approaches for educating and assisting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mainly in social interaction. Even though these apps are deemed effective, they are not. These autism-assistive apps are not highly customizable, which limits their usefulness. This article examined the application software that was applied to encourage verbal communication in the intervention for children with ASD. The aim was to determine the minimum requirements for a verbal communication intervention app that adequately satisfies children with ASD, caregivers, and therapists. Databases were searched, including Scopus, Springer, PubMed, Education Resources Information Centre, and Google Scholar, with the following free-text terms combining Boolean operators: autism, children, intervention, verbal communication, software, app, and technology. A total of fifteen studies were found relevant, and the following information was collected: participant characteristics, information on the devices and apps, target behaviors, intervention procedures, and intervention outcomes. The findings suggest that the autism-assistive apps effectively improve verbal communication of children with ASD. For that, the apps should be attractive and engaging to the children with ASD, able to identify the child’s capability and suggest appropriate lesson activities, as well as encompass specific learning outcomes with multilevel lesson strategy. The apps should also use systematic evidence-based intervention procedures in the activities, be able to evaluate the child’s learning progress, and allow caregivers or therapists to keep track of application usage and performance. The use of apps in intervention does provide many benefits. However, they should never replace qualified therapists. App-based interventions make home-based treatment more focused, systematic, and economical.
