This research aims to describe: (1) An overview of the value of the character of nationalism and patriotism that students have, (2) The implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism, (3) The inhibitory factor and solution carried out in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism on thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Research data sources are principals, teacher classes, and students. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. These research instruments are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Test the validity of data using an extension of observation, increase persistence, triangulation (source triangulation, technique, and timing), and use reference material. The data analysis techniques in this study used Miles and Huberman analyses consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusions. The results showed that (1) the idea of the value of nationalism and patriotism character is that students already have the value of nationalism and patriotism in themselves and also have been able to apply attitudes to the value of the character in everyday life even though not maximally. (2) The implementation of the character value of nationalism and patriotism in the learning of IPS-charged thematic, by inserting the value of the character in the learning materials, using the learning media, using inspirational stories and showing heroic films to motivate students, doing outing class activities in the museum, through school activities and policies such as performing flag ceremonies, singing national songs and local songs, using traditional clothing (3) Inhibitory factor and solution done in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism in the thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul namely a factor that comes from the self, factors of environmental condition of students who are less conducive, experiencing addiction in the use of gadgets, school facilities that have not been fully fulfilled in support of the to overcome this problem, the solution is to provide direct guidance to the students who have less interest during the process of learning IPS-charged thematic, doing a variety of activities that are performed as a means of meeting with the parents.

Education in Indonesia is still relatively low, because students have not been able to face the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0. There needs to be an educational concept that is able to answer the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0, one of which is STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). This study aims to analyze the potential of STEAM contained in the Teacher's Book and Student's Book Theme 1-9 Revised 2017 grade IV Elementary School. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the object of research directed to find out the potential of STEAM contained in the 2017 Revised Teacher's Book and Student's Book for Grade IV Elementary School. Data obtained from secondary data in the form of Teacher's Books and Revised 2017 Student Books for Class IV Elementary Schools that have been analyzed. The data collection method used the documentation analysis method so that the researchers analyzed the Theme Books 1-9 Class IV Elementary School. The data analysis method used is the Miles and Huberman model starting with data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results show that there are facts that have STEAM potential and facts that have STEAM potential with an average of 80% of STEAM potential from the number of lessons in Themes 1-9. So, the results of the analysis of the 2017 Revised Teacher's Book and Theme Book for Grade IV Elementary School have the potential for STEAM. However, there are some learnings that do not have STEAM facts, so the learning does not have STEAM potential.

This research aims to describe the teachers’ role in developing student's independence through counseling (BK) services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in the 2018/2019 school year. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the principal, the 1st grade till 6th-grade teachers, 4th grade to 6th-grade students, and their parents. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used some steps namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the teachers’ role in developing students’ independence through counseling services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 school year, the results were described in the form of descriptions and tables.

This study aimed at determining the managerial implementation of school principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research approach. The subject is the school principal at SDN 24 Pulau Rimau. The informants are the school principal and teacher. Data collection techniques were (1) observation; (2) interview; and (3) documentation. The collected data is examined for the validity of the data, using triangulation, with verification and checking of the adequacy of the references. The results of this study were the ability of the managerial implementation of principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau was very good seen from planning, organizing, directing, and supervising.

Abstract;                      Nurul Hikmah, (2019). Teacher performance class in organizing and developing learning devices in the state SDN KIP Maccini Makassar. Guided By Syarifuddin Cn Sida and Idawati.This study aims to study the performance of the teachers in developing and expanding learning devices in the state SDN KIP Maccini Makassar. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The location in this research is the state elementary school KIP Maccini Makassar. The types of data in this study are primary data obtained directly from the informant and secondary data in the form of documents relating to the issues and the research reports. The instruments in this research are own researchers and supporting data collection tools are interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study that the performance of teachers certified by SDN KIP MACCINI in the planning of learning received an average score of 18.32 in the category quite effective. The assessment showed that teachers certified by SDN KIP MACCINI were well-performing in the planning of learning. Keywords: teacher performance; Learning devices

<em>Natural phenomena formed on earth such as the formation of mountains can be used as a means for humans to always think and increase curiosity. In the world of education, natural phenomena can be used as a medium for learning. This study aims to analyze and study the legend of Gunung Wurung as a teaching material based on local wisdom and strengthening the character education in elementary school. The legend of Gunung Wurung is one of the folklore located Karangsambung area, Kebumen, Central Java. This research is a descriptive research. The research data was obtained from the results of observations and interviews with residents around the Karangsambung area and the results of the teacher perception questionnaire SDN 02 Kuwayuhan. Data analysis techniques used a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the analysis show that: 1) The legend of Gunung Wurung turned out to be less well known to residents around the Karangsambung area; 2) The legend of Gunung Wurung can be used as an alternative material in thematic learning in elementary schools based on local wisdom; 2) Character education values in the legend of Gunung Wurung include religious character, respect and obedience, cooperation, hard work, social care, patience, and commitment.</em>

This study aims to discuss the teacher's strategy in the character building of environmental care for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negeri (MIN: State Islamic Elementary School) 2 Lombok Tengah. This research is qualitative-descriptive research. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data sources were obtained from the principal, teachers, staff, and students. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The findings of the study include: (1) the teachers have used a very good strategy in building character for students to environmental care. The intended teacher strategies include, such as setting class assignments (picket schedule), sticking/putting up posters about cleanliness/keep clean, adding to the means of garbage disposal. The strategies that have been implemented by the teacher can make students maintain a good school/classroom environment. (2) The concern of the teachers in shaping the character of students caring for the environment in MIN 2 Lombok Tengah is seen in the form of approaching and advising students, as well as being involved in mutual cooperation activities (gotong-royong). Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui startegi guru dalam pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di MIN 2 Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, guru, staf, dan siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Hasil temuan penelitian antara lain: (1) para guru telah menggunakan startegi yang sangat baik dalam membangun karakter bagi siswa untuk peduli lingkungan. Strategi guru yang dimaksud antara lain, seperti: penetapan jadwal piket kelas, menempelkan gambar tentang kebersihan, menambah sarana pembuangan sampah. Strategi-strategi yang telah diterapkan oleh guru dapat menjadikan siswa menjaga lingkungan sekolah/kelas dengan baik.  (2) Kepedulian para guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa peduli lingkungan di MIN 2 Lombok Tengah terlihat dalam bentuk mendekati, dan menasehati siswa, serta terlibat dalam kegiatan gotong royong.

This study aims to describe character education through sports and health physical education subjects in grade III SD 2 Padokan Bantul. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the principle, sports and health physical education teacher, class III teacher, and class III student. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the study through data collection, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verifying. The result of the research on the implementation of character education through Sports and Health Physical class III SD 2 Padokan Bantul bases are described in the form of descriptions and tables.

The Village

Basically, the research aims to know how to form the participation of women in the development of education in the village Belawan Mulya Manuhing District of Gunung Mas District, and what are the obstacles of women in participating. The study uses qualitative descriptive research methods, data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documentation, interviews to women. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data feeds and drawing conclusions/verifications. The results of this research are the development of education in the village Belawan Mulya not go well, educational facilities are not yet complete and form of women's participation in the development of education in this village in the form of energy, money, and expertise. While the inhibitory factor of female participation in this village is, age, the background of education is still low, the economic level of the population is still low and lack of support facilities of their participation such as lack of educational facilities. Based on the results of this study, women should continually improve their self-esteem in order to perform many roles, especially roles in education, in addition to women together with governments, social organizations and communities in order to cooperate to build educational facilities

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the use of multimedia in improving students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the Classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru as well as supporting factors and inhibition of the use of multimedia. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 5 Buru District Lilialy Kabupaten Buru, from September 1, 2020 to October 1, 2020. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed qualitatively including: data collection, data reduction, data display and verification and affirmation of conclusions. The results showed that the use of multimedia can increase students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru, where students appear to focus on following the learning process, recording the subject matter, and are happy with the learning using multimedia, students easily explain or answer the teacher's questions PAI boldly and actively in the learning process. Supporting factors and inhibition factors of multimedia use in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the Classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru among others, for supporting factors, namely the availability of leptop and computer, infokus, electricity, clean school walls, clean classrooms, and the ability of PAI teachers who are very good in integrating concepts with multimedia in the learning process as well as the availability of special classrooms designed for learning activities using multimedia infokus. As for the inhibition factor is infokus available only one, so it will be constrained when used by other teachers, then electricity is often out and internet access is often sluggish. Keywords: Multimedia, student learning motivation, Islamic Religious Education Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan multimedia dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaan multimedia tersebut..Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Buru Kecamatan Lilialy Kabupaten Buru, mulai dari tanggal 1 September 2020 sampai dengan 1 Oktober 2020.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi dan penegasan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru, dimana siswa terlihat mereka fokus mengikuti proses pembelajaran, mencatat materi pelajaran, dan senang dengan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia, siswa dengan mudah menjelaskan atau menjawab pertanyaan guru PAI dengan berani dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat penggunaan multimedia dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru antara lain untuk faktor pendukung yakni tersedianya leptop dan komputer, infokus, listrik, dinding sekolah yang bersih, ruang kelas yang bersih, dan kemampuan guru PAI yang sangat baik dalam mengintegrasikan konsep dengan multimedia dalam proses pembelajaran serta tersedianya ruang kelas khusus yang didesain untuk kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia infokus. Sementara untuk faktor penghambatnya adalah infokus yang tersedia hanya satu, sehingga akan terkendala apabila digunakan oleh guru yang lain, kemudian listrik sering padam dan akses internet yang sering lamban.
