This research aims to describe the teachers’ role in developing student's independence through counseling (BK) services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in the 2018/2019 school year. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the principal, the 1st grade till 6th-grade teachers, 4th grade to 6th-grade students, and their parents. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used some steps namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the teachers’ role in developing students’ independence through counseling services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 school year, the results were described in the form of descriptions and tables.

This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design. The data in this study are words in the lines and stanzas of Kelong Makassar containing the concept of Makassar local wisdom. The techniques of data collection users are reading, observation and document study. The data analysis technique used in this study is the interactive model of data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman (1992). The data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The data were analyzed to obtain the concept of local wisdom through the meaning of Kelong Makassar. The results of this study reveal the meaning of Kelong based on the review of Michael Riffaterre's indirection of meaning and show that (1) displacement of meaning in this analysis was found through figurative language in the form of metaphor, metonymy, pars pro toto and personification, (2) distortion of meaning was found through ambiguity and contradiction, (3) creation of meaning was found through enjambment and typography.

Abstract: This study aims to find out how the use of multimedia in improving students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the Classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru as well as supporting factors and inhibition of the use of multimedia. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 5 Buru District Lilialy Kabupaten Buru, from September 1, 2020 to October 1, 2020. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed qualitatively including: data collection, data reduction, data display and verification and affirmation of conclusions. The results showed that the use of multimedia can increase students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru, where students appear to focus on following the learning process, recording the subject matter, and are happy with the learning using multimedia, students easily explain or answer the teacher's questions PAI boldly and actively in the learning process. Supporting factors and inhibition factors of multimedia use in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in the Classroom X SMA Negeri 5 Buru among others, for supporting factors, namely the availability of leptop and computer, infokus, electricity, clean school walls, clean classrooms, and the ability of PAI teachers who are very good in integrating concepts with multimedia in the learning process as well as the availability of special classrooms designed for learning activities using multimedia infokus. As for the inhibition factor is infokus available only one, so it will be constrained when used by other teachers, then electricity is often out and internet access is often sluggish. Keywords: Multimedia, student learning motivation, Islamic Religious Education Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan multimedia dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat penggunaan multimedia tersebut..Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Buru Kecamatan Lilialy Kabupaten Buru, mulai dari tanggal 1 September 2020 sampai dengan 1 Oktober 2020.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi dan penegasan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru, dimana siswa terlihat mereka fokus mengikuti proses pembelajaran, mencatat materi pelajaran, dan senang dengan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia, siswa dengan mudah menjelaskan atau menjawab pertanyaan guru PAI dengan berani dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat penggunaan multimedia dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Buru antara lain untuk faktor pendukung yakni tersedianya leptop dan komputer, infokus, listrik, dinding sekolah yang bersih, ruang kelas yang bersih, dan kemampuan guru PAI yang sangat baik dalam mengintegrasikan konsep dengan multimedia dalam proses pembelajaran serta tersedianya ruang kelas khusus yang didesain untuk kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia infokus. Sementara untuk faktor penghambatnya adalah infokus yang tersedia hanya satu, sehingga akan terkendala apabila digunakan oleh guru yang lain, kemudian listrik sering padam dan akses internet yang sering lamban. Talking about education is certainly closely related to the generation of students. If we look at the current state of education, especially the quality that exists within students, it is very concerning. Cellphones that should be used for learning in schools are now only limited to playing games. Not a few students want to read textbooks, because they are busy reading chats from their girlfriends. Not even a few studens go to the mosque to perform Dhuha prayers and Fardhu prayers because they are busy tik-tokan. Generations of students are starting to spend a lot of time in front of gadgets. The generation that Allah says in the Qur’an as the Khoiru Ummah, is now a rare thing to see.The purpose of this study was to interpret the influence of gadgets on the level of learning and spirituality of students during the covid-19 pandemi. This research is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques used are observation methods, documentation methods and interview methods. The data analysis technique used is Milles, Huberman and Saldana with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the influence of gadgets on the level of student learning, greatly decreased. Likewise, the level of spirituality of students during the Covid-19 pandemi, is very low. This is evidenced by the teachers who teach students at Madrasah every day, as well as student learning outcomes when doing daily tests and when doing assignments both at school and at home.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the character values contained in traditional games in the 4th grade elementary school curriculum 2013. This study used a qualitative descriptive study with a phenomenological approach. This study describes events or phenomena with data in the form of words. Methods of data collection using observation and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses data collection, data selection, conclusion drawing, and validation. The results showed that 13 traditional games in the 4th Grade Elementary School Student Book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture were gobak sodor, forts, engklek, kasti, marbles, tug of war, woodpeckers and insects, fish, frogs and lizards, hunters and the Javan rhinoceros. , build punden terraces, gangsing, enggrang, and sepak takraw containing values of honest character, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, respecting achievement, friendly/communicative, peace loving, social care, and responsibility.</em></p><p> </p>

This research aims to describe: (1) An overview of the value of the character of nationalism and patriotism that students have, (2) The implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism, (3) The inhibitory factor and solution carried out in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism on thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Research data sources are principals, teacher classes, and students. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. These research instruments are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Test the validity of data using an extension of observation, increase persistence, triangulation (source triangulation, technique, and timing), and use reference material. The data analysis techniques in this study used Miles and Huberman analyses consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusions. The results showed that (1) the idea of the value of nationalism and patriotism character is that students already have the value of nationalism and patriotism in themselves and also have been able to apply attitudes to the value of the character in everyday life even though not maximally. (2) The implementation of the character value of nationalism and patriotism in the learning of IPS-charged thematic, by inserting the value of the character in the learning materials, using the learning media, using inspirational stories and showing heroic films to motivate students, doing outing class activities in the museum, through school activities and policies such as performing flag ceremonies, singing national songs and local songs, using traditional clothing (3) Inhibitory factor and solution done in the implementation of the value of character planting nationalism and patriotism in the thematic learning with the IPS of grade IV students Elementary School state Singosaren Bantul namely a factor that comes from the self, factors of environmental condition of students who are less conducive, experiencing addiction in the use of gadgets, school facilities that have not been fully fulfilled in support of the to overcome this problem, the solution is to provide direct guidance to the students who have less interest during the process of learning IPS-charged thematic, doing a variety of activities that are performed as a means of meeting with the parents.

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of curriculum modification in components of purpose, content, process, and evaluation of the subjects of natural sciences (IPA) in class VI SD 1 Trirenggo Bantul. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are performed with observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model by using data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The results showed that modification of the curriculum of science subjects in class VI SD 1 Trirenggo Bantul on components of objective aspects of basic competency has not been modified and indicator aspects have been modified. The components of the content of science’s lesson have not been modified or have not adjusted with the ABK (children with special needs). In the components of the teaching process, the teaching techniques, environment/settings of learning, and learning time have been modified and aspects of teaching methods, learning media, and learning resources have not been modified. On the evaluation components, aspect of evaluation time, the evaluation technique, place of evaluation, approval criteria, and the class upgrade system have been modified and aspects of the test, the form of results, and the form of diploma have not been modified.

The purpose of this study is to describe the errors and causes that often occur in solving problems in the material building space beam and cube in terms of mathematical communication. In this study using a type of qualitative descriptive research, with data collection techniques used are tests, and interviews. The subjects of this study were 4th semester students at one of the universities in Bandung. The analysis technique used is an interactive technique which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The mathematical communication indicators used in this research are expressing everyday problems in mathematical languages / symbols, presenting allegations, and drawing conclusions. Errors made by students in solving problems are wrong in symbolizing data that is known and asked, does not calculate prerequisite data, determine formulas, and do not draw conclusions. The cause of the error is due to the assumption that symbolizing the known and asked data is not important, does not focus when working on the problem so that it is not thorough and understands the questions given, and the unfamiliarity to draw conclusions on each problem resolved

This study aims to determine and described the learning creativity of elementary school students using the number head together learning model. This research method is a literature review research method. The stages of this literature review are data collection, data reduction, data display, discussion, and conclusions. The results showed that from 17 articles published from 2010-2020 about the number head together learning model and learning creativity of elementary school students, there were 2 articles that matched these variables. The number head together learning model can increase the learning creativity of elementary school students. The novelty of this research is the connection between one article and another that discusses the same topic. The impact of the results of this study is the increasing number of literature review studies to reinforce existing theories.

This study aims to reveal and formulate Javanese philosophical values and philosophical foundations in Serat Centhini. It was a qualitative descriptive study. The data source was the Serat Centhini text. The research steps included data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were analyzed using the hermeneutic and heuristic techniques. The findings are as follows. First, Javanese philosophical values in Serat Centhini are reflected in Javanese cultural contents and philosophy reflecting the Javanese society when Serat Centhini was written. The Javanese philosophy in Serat Centhiniis reflected by the life perfection value (ngudi kasampurnan) and the philosophy of origin and destination (sangkan paraning dumadi). Second, the philosophy in Serat Centhini is reflected in the ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations.

This study aimed at determining the managerial implementation of school principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research approach. The subject is the school principal at SDN 24 Pulau Rimau. The informants are the school principal and teacher. Data collection techniques were (1) observation; (2) interview; and (3) documentation. The collected data is examined for the validity of the data, using triangulation, with verification and checking of the adequacy of the references. The results of this study were the ability of the managerial implementation of principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau was very good seen from planning, organizing, directing, and supervising.
